Chapter 20 Flying Lessons
At half past three in the afternoon, Louis dragged Linda to the field at the door, ready to start their first flying lesson. www.biquge.info It's a sunny, breezy day, and the beautiful scenery and comfortable climate make you want to take a nap.
The other Slytherin students had already arrived, and there were more than twenty broomsticks neatly placed on the ground in front of them. Louis had heard the Slytherin seniors complain that the broomsticks at school were so bad, that they were better at sweeping the floor than the ones in the school.
Their teacher, Mrs. Hodge, came. She has short gray hair and two eyes that are yellow and as sharp as an eagle.
"Alright, what are you all waiting for?" said Lady Hodge, "everyone is standing by the broomsticks. ”
Louis looked down at the tattered broomstick in front of him and pouted, the one he had made before was much better than that.
"Stretch out your right hand, put it on top of the broomstick, and say, 'Get up,'" Lady Hodge shouted to them.
"Get up. Louis shouted lazily.
Louis's broom didn't give him face and didn't move, and Linda's broom next to him immediately jumped into her hand. However, there were only a few who were as obedient as Linda's broomstick, and Hermione's broom rolled on the ground and didn't move, and she was relieved to see that most of them were just like her.
Mrs. Hooch then showed them how to ride a broomstick without slipping off it. She walked up and down the line, correcting their grips. Louis heard Mrs. Hodge say that Malfoy had done something wrong, and it seemed that Malfoy almost hit the helicopter every time for no reason.
"Okay, as soon as I whistle, you kick off the ground with both legs, remember to kick hard. Mrs. Hodge said, "Hold the broom steady, rise a few feet, and lean forward slightly back to the ground." Listen to my whistle - three-two-"
But Neville was so nervous that he feared he would be left alone on the ground, so he kicked up without waiting for Mrs. Hooch to blow the whistle.
"Come back!, child!" shouted Mrs. Hodge, but Neville in the sky could not control his broomstick, only to see him fly higher and higher and then slip off the side of the broomstick.
"Yugadim Leviosa!" Louis quickly drew his wand and shouted at Neville, who had fallen quickly.
With a "bang", Neville fell headfirst down in the grass on the ground, and the whole person shrank into a ball. His broom was still rising, and then began to float slowly towards the Forbidden Forest until it was gone.
"It's good that it's just a broken hand. Mrs. Hodge looked at Neville and said, "All right, get up, boy, and thank Louis for saving your life." ”
"I'll send the kids to Madam Pomfrey, and none of you are allowed to move! Put the broomsticks back where they were, or you'll be kicked out of school before you can say 'Quidditch'." Mrs. Hodge picked Neville up and said, "And, Pendragon, the beautiful Levitation Charm!" ”
"Thank you for the compliment, I didn't do a perfect job, or Neville wouldn't have been hurt," Louis said modestly. Louis didn't worry at first when he thought that Mrs. Hodge would catch Neville, but when he realized that Mrs. Hodge didn't react, he hurriedly cast the spell.
"Thank you Luis, you saved my life. Neville said as he passed by Louis. His face was streaked with tears, and he limped away with Mrs. Hodge with his other severed hand.
