Chapter 485: Earthquake
The three genuine warriors did not rush over to duel with Roger, which was already quite a sign of restraint, let alone walking together, as soon as Bagman explained the matter, the three of them walked straight away without looking at Roger's gang.
No one on Roger's side cared about the attitude of the three people, and they left the court noisily together, but Roger did not go in the direction of the castle, but led his friends to the forest around the corner.
"Hey, you're on the wrong track... Over there is the Forbidden Forest. Sensing that something was wrong, Hermione grabbed the boy as they walked through Hagrid's hut and the brightly lit Beauxbatons carriage.
"How can you run out on a starry night in this moon without waves?" The thing smiled and dragged the girl forward as usual.
It is impossible for any boarding school to allow students to go out of the dormitory alone at night, and Hogwarts is no exception, but here it is afraid that students are in danger, and ordinary schools are afraid that students will go out over the wall...
"Don't even think about it!" Harry, who was following behind, stopped doing it when he heard this, and jumped to his feet and said loudly, "You have all gotten us into the Triwizard Tournament, and you want to drag us to the Forbidden Forest to do something?"
"I didn't get you in," Roger glanced back at the little savior, "I don't carry this pot." β
Harry: "Huh. β
Several people were fighting in the water, and suddenly, there was unusual movement in the bushes behind Ginny. Harry had some experience with things hidden in the forest, and he instinctively grabbed the girl's arm and pulled her over.
Roger and the others were also vigilantly staring at the place where there was movement just now, and their hands had reached into their robes, groping for their wands.
"What's going on?" a tall, burly figure pushed through the grass and stepped out from behind a tall oak tree, "Why are you guys here?"
It was Hagrid, who carried an oversized bow and crossbow in his hand, and a well-stocked quiver on his shoulder.
"Mr. Bagman asked us to assemble at the Quidditch pitch and announced some information about the third project. Hermione explained, tilting her head.
"Oh, looks like you all know that, doesn't you?" Hagrid's eyebrows fluttered at the point, "Dumbledore asked me to cause you some interesting little trouble." β
Neville couldn't hold back and coughed. The three-headed dog can only be regarded as a little cutie in front of this half-giant size, if it is troublesome, although it is difficult to imagine what kind of destructive power it will have, but it must not be 'small'!
Harry, of course, understood what this meant, and immediately looked at Hagrid with what he thought was the most innocent of all eyes, and asked with a pretended nonchalance, "Funny little nuisance?
"You can't believe it, I got it from a gringo from Luxembourg... Well, I shouldn't have told you. Hagrid suddenly came to his senses, and his enthusiastic words came to an abrupt end.
"Go on, Hagrid!" Harry, Hermione, and Ginny urged, but Hagrid shook his head and grinned.
"I don't want to spoil your interest," Hagrid said, "but Dumbledore strictly forbids me to divulge information to you, as I'm part of the project's design." β
After that, Harry and the others tried their best to coax Hagrid to tell him what kind of fluffy 'cuties' they had gotten, but the hunting ground guards didn't say anything with a smile on their faces.
"Did you put all those monsters in the Forbidden Forest?" Luna asked suddenly, her light-colored eyes fixed on Hagrid's weapon.
"What? oh, noβ" Hagrid was stunned by the mad girl's question, and looked into her eyes to see the girl staring at her crossbow, "I went to the Forbidden Forest because of something else." β
"What's the matter?" Hermione also noticed the outfit of the hunting ground guard, and asked aggressively, "I remember you told us that you don't need to bring a weapon to the Forbidden Forest, and all the animals there know you." Unless..."
"Unless there's a creature in the woods that doesn't belong there!" Harry picked up and slapped excitedly.
Hagrid looked at the Harry who were excited, thinking that he had discovered the truth, and after hesitating for a moment, he decided to reveal a little bit of information to them.
"Well, you clever little onesβ" he leaned his crossbow against the stump beside him, and sat down with him, "I can tell you about this... But as I said beforehand, you should all go back to the castle with me after listening to it, and even if there is a reason for coming out, you should not wander outside at night. β
"Yes, yes, we'll leave when you're done. Roger answered lazily, sitting on the floor with the hem of his robe on his buttocks, and posing as if he was listening to a story.
Hermione and the others sat down.
Hagrid straightened the unkempt beard on his chin, "You all know how many small earthquakes happened to Hogwarts last year, right?"
Some of the six people nodded and some shook their heads, and Neville was even more dazed: "Was there an earthquake last year?"
"Towards the end of last year, me, Hermione, and that idiot...", Roger pointed to Harry, "Visiting Hagrid's cabin, Hagrid mentioned it once... There was an earthquake at Hogwarts, but it was rare to be within the Forbidden Forest. β
"When you mention this, is it because the earthquake has happened again?" asked Hermione keenly.
Hagrid nodded, his expression a little serious: "It's not just a problem that has reappeared, but since the beginning of last semester until now, earthquakes have never stopped coming every once in a while, and they tend to become more and more frequent. β
"It can't be an earthquake... At least not your average earthquake. Hermione said in a firm tone.
"What's so unusual... This earthquake is quite unscientific, but this is very magical~" Roger retorted lazily, put his hands behind his head and lay on the grass: "It's really not ordinary, Dumbledore must have intervened..."
"I'll tell Dumbledore when you're on summer vacation," Hagrid nodded, "There's no Centaur in the Forbidden Forest anymore..."
Roger, who had just laid down, sat up as soon as he heard this: "What!?Old Deng slaughtered the centaur tribe?"
The screaming was so loud that Hagrid didn't hear what he was saying for a moment, and when he reacted, the hunting ground guard waved his hand the size of a trash can lid and said, "What... The centaurs migrated on their own... Because of this I know it's not good, tell Dumbledore. β
"Then I found a black stone bar in the depths of the Forbidden Forest, and it was certainly not from the forest, because I knew what every place in the Forbidden Forest looked like. β
