Chapter 531: Warriors!
Luca looked surprised, but Yat was very calm, he looked at the parrot in his hand and said: "You promised to give it to me, and the place where you made your promise is in the tower of the intersection of time, even if it has been registered at all time nodes, I can get it, what's so strange?"
There was some truth to this answer, but Lukka suddenly thought of another risk.
"Don't be mistaken, I'm just lending it to you for one night, not giving it to you. He said solemnly.
"Don't worry, I'll promise to give it back to you by noon tomorrow," Art smiled, "You don't have to worry so much, with my ability, I can't take it away." β
"Okay, I'll take you to that study. Lukka said as he walked to the door, and before he could put his hand on the doorknob, the wooden door was pushed open from the outside.
"Captain, you want fish!" Daniel slammed the door open with his shoulders over a large bucket in both hands.
Luka had been hammered in by Ollie many times, and as soon as there was movement in the door, he flashed sideways, and Daniel's figure rushed directly towards Arte next to him, bringing a breeze mixed with a fishy smell.
On the boat, he didn't stay physical much often, even in ghost form, and lifting a bucket of fish was a breeze for Daniel.
Artel was also not a physical entity, so the two figures passed through each other, and by the time they had settled down and stopped, they were already four or five paces away, standing back to back.
In the middle of the two of them, a vat full of live fish and Shut Up were the only two victims of the collision. The parrot was lying on its back on the ground panting for breath with its feathers disheveled, and the fish in the bucket crackled and jumped out, throwing the sea water all over the ground.
Daniel and Arte turned around at the same time, looking at the mess, not knowing what to say.
Lukka walked over, scooped up the ground and shut up, examined it, and found that the parrot was fine except that it still refused to open its eyes and its feathers were wet, so he shoved it back into Art's hand.
He turned to Daniel and said, "Since you're here, take this child to the little study for me, the one next to the lounge." Don't let him run around. β
"Good captain. "By the way, Nora asked me to ask if the fish you wanted, if they didn't damage much after use, could you give her the rest, she wanted to bake them." β
"Don't we eat much grilled fish, why do you suddenly want to eat this?" asked Luca, confused.
She said the fish in the neighborhood were special. Daniel replied.
"What's special?" asked AttΓ©, turning her head as well, curiously.
"It was exceptionally tasty. Daniel said, pointing to the fish on the ground.
"If there's any leftovers, she'll eat them. If not, you can help her catch another bucket. Lukka said with a smile.
At dinnertime, Nora summons Ollie and Daniel to the captain's room, and although Luca doesn't want to be disturbed while studying magic, the meal is still eaten.
Dreaming of grilled fish, Nora knocked on the wooden door of the captain's room, but there was no response.
"Nothing is going to happen, is it?" Ollie snapped back, took two steps back, and rushed through one of them, slamming open the door with the frame.
A second later, faster than the action of crashing in, Ollie rushed out with a whoosh, ran straight to a place four or five meters from the door, only to take a few breaths, and shouted at the captain's room, "What are you doing?"
Daniel didn't know why, habitually walked over, picked up the shards of the door frame that had been knocked down, and was about to repair it, when suddenly a foul smell wafted to the tip of his nose. The smell was so strong that even a disembodied ghost like him couldn't bear it, so he dropped what he was holding and floated to Ollie's side, looking inside with a horrified face.
Seeing the two of them reacting, Nora didn't dare to take a step further, and turned around and ran to them. Hearing the shouting, the others also ran over, and as soon as they got closer, they all covered their noses and fled.
The captain's room was littered with dying live fish, each covered with countless pustules, large and small, emitting a disgusting rancid smell. Leaving the sea and being attacked by necromancy, most of the fish were still not dead, and they still flicked their tails weakly.
Lukka stood in the middle of a rotten fish, his expression focused. Holding the Amethyst Staff in one hand and a live fish that had not yet been poisoned in the other, he was chanting a spell, seemingly completely unaffected by the scent.
"Are you here, do you want to eat grilled fish?" Lukka held up the live fish that had just been planted with rotting seeds and waved his hand out the door, and several of the crew members almost threw it out.
"Don't you think it stinks?" asked Ollie.
"Of course, I almost got fainted from the first one, so I got this: bubbles. Lukka said and pointed to his head, which was covered with a transparent bubble that would not be noticed if you didn't look closely. Not only does this spell allow him to breathe underwater, but it also works perfectly to keep out the foul smell of air.
"I finally understand now why the Academy of Magic is not allowed to study necromancy. Arte was also drawn to the deck by the shouting, and stood far away with his nose covered.
"Where's Phil, check on the fish!" Lukka shouted outside, the rotten fish piled between him and the doorway, the ground dripping with a mixture of seawater and rotting slime that made it difficult for him to get his feet.
Phil hesitated, turned to Ollie and asked for a handkerchief, took out a medicine bottle from his pocket, sprinkled the light blue potion on it, and then surrounded his mouth and nose, and strode in with a heroic gesture of righteousness.
He stepped over the foul-smelling liquid on the ground, looked down in the middle of the captain's room for a moment, then pulled out his glove strap and crouched down to begin examining them one by one.
The people outside the hatch were dumbfounded, and they couldn't help but whisper in praise even when they shut up: "Warrior!"
"These are all spell successes?" Phil's voice was muffled in his handkerchief.
"Yes, I've dealt with all the failures. Luca said.
"Deal with it?" Phil was a little curious.
"Just burned it with a fire spell, trust me, you won't want to see those fish. Lukka himself was a little sick to his stomach.
The effect of necromancy on fish is terrifying, and it is indeed cruel to innocent fish, and it can at least die a happy death if it is grilled and eaten, but for Luca, it is already the least damaging method.
Phil examined every rotting live fish, nodded and said, "No problem, I can use these fish to make potions." β
He took out a pair of oversized gloves and threw them at the half-giant, judging by the overly rich expression, it was still the god of wealth who controlled this body.
"Help me get the fish in buckets and move them back to our lab to get ready to work!" Phil said.
