Chapter 417: The Unforgivable Curse
Before there was another commotion in the classroom, Moody yelled, "But! I'm sorry if I find out that someone has used dark magic on your classmates outside of class... You won't like the consequences. Pen @ fun @ pavilion wWw. ļ½ļ½ļ½Uļ½Eć ļ½ļ½ļ½ļ½ā
He scanned the classroom with both eyes at the same time, and the students' faces tensed, and he nodded in satisfaction: "Then let's get down to business... First of all, can any of you tell me how many Unforgivable Curses there are?"
"Three. Hermione, as always, was the first to answer the question.
"Why are they called that?" Moody asked again.
"Because they are all unforgivable," Hermione said, "use any of them, and you will..."
"I'll give you a one-way ticket to Azkaban... That's right. Moody continued the girl's words and wrote the words 'Unforgivable Spell' on the blackboard with his wand, "So, now let's take a look at which spell first?"
"Mr. Collins!" he said, naming him. The question before Roger made a lot of impressions on Moody.
"Let's perform the Imperius Curse first. Roger said lazily.
His intention today was not to trouble this mad-eyed man Moody, although he knew that this new professor was an impostor, but it was not time to debunk him.
However, after some testing, you can find that the acting skills of this fake and shoddy product are simply outstanding, and it is not a problem to go to Hollywood to get an Oscar...
Moody struggled to get up on his prosthetic legs, opened the lectern drawer, and pulled out a glass bottle. Three big black spiders crawled inside.
He reached into the bottle, grabbed a spider, and placed it on his outstretched palm for everyone to see. Then he pointed his wand at it and muttered, "Out of body!"
The spider jumped off Moody's palm, dangling a filament, and began to swing back and forth, as if sitting on a high swing. It stiffened its legs, then turned around and flipped over, the filaments being pulled off. It slammed on the table and began to turn its head in circles.
Moody flicked his wand, and it stood up on its two hind legs and began to tap-dance, yes, tap-dance.
Everyone laughed... Only Moody's didn't laugh.
"You think it's fun, don't you?" he asked, in a thick voice, "if I did this to you, would you like it?"
The laughter died down almost immediately.
"It's under my control," Moody whispered, as the spider got up and began rolling around, "I can make it jump out of the window, or drown itself, or jump down the throat of one of your classmates..."
Hermione shook involuntarily and touched her neck with her hand, and the girl felt a little itchy in her throat when she heard this.
"Years ago, many wizards were under the control of the Imperius Curse," Moody said, referring to the days when Voldemort was at its strongest. They need to distinguish between those who are forced to do what they are and those who are acting on their own will. ā
"The Imperius Curse can be resisted, and I will teach you how to do it, but it requires a lot of personality strength, and not everyone can master it. You'd better avoid being hit by it as much as possible. Be vigilant at all times!" Moody suddenly yelled, startling everyone.
Moody grabbed the somersault spider and threw it back into the vial, "Does anyone know about the other two spells?"
Hermione raised her hand in the air again, and Neville raised her hand too... This is not surprising.
Last year, this cowardly little fat man participated in the 'Squeezing Lupin Workshop' founded by Roger, and even though he was the weakest of several members, he was much better at using various spells than the average student in the same grade, which made the little fat man's confidence grow a lot.
Go ahead. Moody said, his enchanted eyes curling as he stared at Neville.
"There's a... Drill Heart Mantra. Neville said in a soft, but clear voice.
Moody looked at Neville very intently, this time with both eyes at the same time.
"You're Longbottom, aren't you?" he said, his magical eyes lowering to check the roster.
Neville nodded nervously, but Moody didn't ask anything else. He turned his back to the class, pulled a second spider out of the glass bottle, and placed it on the podium. The spider remained motionless, apparently frightened.
"Mind Curse," Moody muttered, "It needs to be zoomed in so you can see it,"
He said, pointing his wand at the spider: "Grow bigger!"
The spider quickly swelled up and became comparable to an adult toad.
Moody raised his wand again, pointed at the spider, and said softly, "Drill the heart and cut the bone!"
The spider's legs all shrank at the same time, clinging to its body. Flipping, while the body was twitching violently and shaking from side to side. It's a pity that the spider didn't make a sound, and if it did, it must be screaming desperately at the moment.
Moody withdrew his wand, and the spider's legs flagged, but still twitched.
"Shrink quickly. He muttered.
The spider retracted back to its original size, and Moody put it back in the bottle.
"Extreme pain. The Mad-Eyed man whispered, "If you can recite the Heart Piercing Mantra, you won't need to use a thumb grip or a knife to torture others... This spell was also very popular at one time. ā
"Alright... Does anyone else know what spells?"
Hermione raised her hand for the third time, but her hand trembled slightly.
"Say it. Moody looked at her and said.
"Requires. Hermione whispered.
Several people turned their heads to look at her uneasily.
"Ah," Moody's crooked mouth twitched again, revealing a small smile, "yes, it's the last and greatest spell. Requires... Death curse. ā
He reached into the glass bottle, and the third spider, as if aware of the impending doom, crawled desperately around the bottom of the bottle, trying to avoid Moody's fingers, but he grabbed it anyway and placed it on the podium. The spider began to crawl on the wooden table again.
Moody raised his wand, and Harry, who was beside Roger, looked a little uncomfortable, as if he had guessed something.
"Arvada is dead!" Moody roared.
A dazzling green light pierced the eyes, and there was a jumble of sounds, as if an invisible behemoth flew through the air. At the same time, the spider rolled over and lay on its back on the table, unscathed, but undoubtedly dead.
Several of the students struggled to hold back their screams and moved backwards in a run-and-run posture as if the situation was not right.
Moody swept the dead spider off the table to the floor.
"It's not good," he said calmly, "it's unpleasant, and there's no spell to break, there's no way to resist it, and as far as people know, only one person escaped this spell after being hit, and he's sitting in front of me at the moment." ā
