Chapter 25, Through the Forest (3)

"Keep walking!" shouted the buriest man, directing the shocked werewolves to their way.

The bald man called two older men to push the flatbed truck carrying Bahrain reasonably. The scorching smell is disgusting. In the jungle late at night, mosquitoes bite indiscriminately and enjoy a rare human blood feast.

The dense canopy of trees obscured most of the moonlight, and from time to time children tripped over thorns and fell to the ground. A flatbed truck loaded with daily necessities was stuck.

Most of the able-bodied men, except for the wounded, served as guards on the perimeter. Four or five women struggled to lift the flatbed truck, treading on the muddy ground under their feet.

The group struggled to move through the jungle, and as they continued to go deeper, the beast attacks became more and more frequent. Many of the lumberjack werewolves who were temporarily serving as guards had been injured.

Flatbed trucks are difficult to carry out on muddy and thorny ground, and after a short break, Bahrain has no choice but to walk on foot in order to reduce the burden on those who carry them.

Holding Alice's shoulders, Balin's body, which was still in a weak period, could only follow the large army with one foot deep and one foot shallow.

The newly changed clothes were torn again, and he reached out and quickly slapped a long-legged mosquito attached to his bare skin. Balin looked up at the dappled moonlight, his chest heaving rapidly, letting out heavy gasps.

"Felder, let's take a break!" Barin called out to the bald man weakly.

The bald man, known as Felder, was the branch president of a bank before the invasion of Paradise, and he had some management skills. It's just that I'm a little old, so I stay in the first-line heavenly camp. In normal times, he is responsible for managing most of the things in the entire camp.

"Wait a minute, I'll go talk to Hans!" Felder, who was already in his fifties, gasped and replied, picking up his pace and walking towards the front of the group.

Balin also knew Hans, who he called Hans, the most magnificent of all werewolves. Felder was in charge of the Werewolf camp in the first line, and Hans was in charge of things in the lumberyard. Even under the planning of many werewolves, he became the foreman of the lumberyard.

The team made a further progress, stopping at a small pool of water for a short rest. The whole forest is full of dangers, and the sheer scale of the migration is not to mention hidden. There is no need to consider whether there is danger at the edge of the waterhole, danger is everywhere anyway.

Several bonfires were piled up, and the remaining mana of Bahrain was squeezed to forcibly ignite the damp branches.

Wet branches crackled and choked smoke drove away the mosquitoes that were everywhere in the forest. The firelight dissipated the dampness of the jungle in the middle of the night, and the women removed their cooking utensils and cleaned up the prey left behind by the aquatic plants in the waterhole. The men, on the other hand, tensed their nerves and stood around on guard.

"Your Excellency, how far are we from our destination?"

The burly Hans came to Bahrain and asked in a deep voice.

"I can't figure out the exact distance, it should be a whole day's journey!" Bahrain leaned against the campfire, his voice a little heavy. It's just that he has just gone deep into the forest and his mana has been exhausted. I don't know how much danger there will be on the road ahead, and most of the werewolves are wounded.

"Your mana ......," Adam, who was standing on the side, asked tentatively.

"Time is too short!" Barin sighed and shook his head.

"The road ahead is not optimistic...... Hans was even more heavy when he heard this.

"Is there no other way?" asked the bald Felder in a low voice.

"There is a dangerous forest in front and a chaser of the Holy See in the back, what can we do? I can only rush to the volcano with one life!" Bahrain suddenly slapped the trunk of the big tree beside him, and said in a fierce voice.

The bad prospect made the atmosphere look so solemn that suddenly the strange movements of a lumberjack fell into the afterglow of Bahrain.

"Huh!" Barin chuckled, stood up and walked towards the lumberjack who had caught his attention.

A man in his thirties was carrying a leather bag and sprinkling something around the camp. A faint smell of burnt wafted in, and Bahrain took a closer look to see that it was the powder of the elementalized beast corpse that had been burned into char by him before.

When this person saw Bahrain coming, his hand movements slowed down slightly, and without waiting for Bahrain to ask, he took the initiative to explain: "Although these corpses are charred, the beast's sense of smell can still smell the scent of high-level creatures. So that ordinary beasts will not come near us!"

Balin raised his eyebrows, and was about to say something, when the tall Hans had already followed him: "What's the matter?

Balin lowered his head, looked at the charred black powder under his feet, and said after a moment of silence: "If there is a corpse of a more advanced elementalized beast, can you prevent other elementalized beasts from approaching us?"

The man nodded, "Basically, most beasts will actively avoid places with the smell of high-level creatures!" The man said with certainty: "I worked in the safari park before the invasion of Heaven, and I know the habits of these beasts very well!"

"I think I'll be able to get through the rest of the time!" Barin looked up suddenly, and there seemed to be a flash of light in his eyes!

"Do you want to take the initiative to hunt down a more powerful elemental beast?" The bald Felder also walked over, and immediately guessed what Balin meant: "But your mana ......"

"I have one more chance, to fight the serious wounds, and to be able to cast a powerful spell!" said Balin narrowing his eyes and furrowing his eyebrows. What he said was naturally to directly operate the Zhou Tianxing Dou Technique, desperately to be suppressed by the will of the world again, and directly communicate the violent power of the underground magma.

"How sure can you be?" asked Hans, frowning.

"It should be able to take out a second-level Arcanist-level elemental beast!" Balin replied with a slight hesitation: "In the current situation, there is a forest blocking the way in front and a chaser of the Holy See in the back, so you can only take the risk once!"

"Okay! I'll pick a few brothers to accompany you!" Hans was ready to get out of the way, and now he had to take a risk.

It was soon agreed that Hans had three strong werewolf lumberjacks to follow Balin out of the army. Balin spreads the limits of his senses, carefully searching for ripples of elemental balance at large wavelengths.

After about twenty minutes, a large wavelength of elemental equilibrium ripples was captured by Bahrain!

"It should be a big guy!" Barin muttered to himself, quickly leading Hans and the others to change direction and walk towards the target captured by perception.

Hans reached out and nimbly cut through the thorny obstacles between the trees, and the group moved quickly to approach the target.

After about half an hour of walking, bursts of strange shadow energy radiated to them. Even the twisted souls of the four werewolves began to throb slightly!

Passing over a web of thorns, a disgusting fishy smell came to my nose. A clearing appeared in front of him, and the moonlight shone down unobscuredly, and everything was clearly visible in the line of sight.

Covered with white bones, the muddy earth was cemented here, red and black in the moonlight.

Looking at the beast's accumulated bones, a huge lizard crouched on the bones. Circles of shadow energy surrounded its massive body, like an ancient beast.
