Chapter 243: Math is Good
The package was wrapped in brown paper, and there were some untidy handwriting on it. Pen @ fun @ pavilion wWw. ļ½ļ½ļ½Uļ½Eć ļ½ļ½ļ½ļ½
Roger recognized the gift from Hagrid with a mere glance, and the bread was self-evident, and he grinned wickedly as Harry tore open the wrapper.
A corner of green leather was revealed in the package, followed by a strange tremor in Harry's hand, followed by a scream.
Harry threw the package out, Ginny jumped in fright at the terrible sound, Hermione's writing hand trembled, and a large stroke immediately appeared in the reply to Professor McGonagall.
"What the hell is that?" Hermione slapped her pen on the table in displeasure, glaring at Harry.
"I don't know," the little savior looked at the motionless package on the floor, "But Hagrid will never give me something dangerous..."
Harry's words were extremely unsubstantial, some things were dangerous, and there was a huge gap between Hagrid and ordinary people's opinions.
Roger stepped forward to pick up the package, and the terrible scream rang out again, and he grabbed the rest of the wrapping paper tightly with one hand and tore it with the other, revealing the contents of it.
It is a book with a green fur cover and a golden title printed on it: "Yokai Book of Yokai". The book trembled with rage in Roger's hands, strangled by such force that it could no longer scream.
"Looks like Hagrid wants this thing to bite off your nose~" The boy deliberately teased, sliding his index finger from top to bottom on the spine of the book, and the book shuddered and quietly opened and lay on his hand.
"Donkey, you have to carry it~" Roger tossed the book to Harry, "But you'd better find something to tie it up, I don't know how long this will last." ā
Harry took the book and bent down to shake out a small card from the wrapping paper on the floor.
"Hagrid said I'll be using this thing in the new semester... Is it used to yin people?" the little savior showed the sharp teeth on the mouth of the book.
"Don't be stupid, you took the Magical Creature Protection class, and this book is the textbook for this class. Hermione gave him an angry look, and found a new parchment to transcribe the letter again.
Diagon Alley is a must, but not today, Ginny needs to discuss with his family that they will meet in that enchanted street.
The Weasleys were notoriously wealthy in the wizarding world, which made the already modest family even poorer, and Ginny had to be careful with his mother's shopping.
"Who of you was yelling just now?" Caroline, who was sleeping lazily, rubbed her short hair and walked downstairs in dissatisfaction, apparently woken up by the "Book of Monsters" just now.
"It's Harry, he's so excited to receive the present. Roger decisively threw the pot on his little friend.
Caroline stretched and didn't pursue it further.
.........
The day of going to Diagon Alley was set for a few days before school started, and Mr. Weasley came over and led the four of them to Diagon Alley to buy something, while the other Weasleys flew straight over with Floo powder.
"You didn't even take the make-up exam this year?
"Because of the pen you sent, I usually get a lot of credits, so I didn't fail the course. Caroline eagerly pushed her brother out the door: "No... Don't talk about that, hurry up and remember to buy a few dozen more quills to come back. ā
The automatic writing quills had run out, and Caroline was in a hurry, she hadn't done her homework all summer, just waiting to be lazy with that thing.
Out of the door, Mr. Weasley, who knew the way, was waiting on the side of the road in his Ford Anglia, and Roger and his friends said hello to him and got into the car in turn.
The seats inside the car were lengthened to resemble park benches, and the four people sat side by side in it without feeling cramped at all.
"Ginny, do you want to earn more than pocket money?" asked Roger, who was sitting next to the little girl, in a sly whisper.
"Pocket money?" Ginny looked at the boy suspiciously, "How do you earn it?"
"A self-writing quill pen is twelve silver sike, a dozen and twenty, buy five dozen at a time, you can buy it at a seventy-fifty discount, that is, nine silver one, it will cost a total of 52 gold and 16 silver," Roger rolled his eyes and calculated to come to this conclusion: "You can sell it to Caroline for 1 gold each, so that you can make a net profit of 47 gold and 1 silver at a time..."
Harry crossed his fingers and counted for a long time, but he couldn't understand the series of numbers that came out of Roger's mouth, so he had to give up this act that seemed stupid.
Ginny also looked at Roger in a daze, she didn't know whether to praise him for his good math studies now, or to complain about his cheating behavior that he didn't even let go of his own sister...
"Don't worry, I never told Caroline the price of the quill pen, and it doesn't hurt to double it if it's too little. Roger patted Ginny on the shoulder, and Sister Pit acted as selfless.
"Nope. The little girl who came back to her senses shook her head and rejected Roger's proposal: "I can't do anything bad like you..."
The boy looked Ginny up and down with strange eyes, and sure enough, he hadn't spent enough time with him.
Giving up the plan to take the bad little girl, Roger didn't shift the target to Mr. Weasley, the change of car is not in a hurry, he doesn't have a car in his hand, not to mention, even if he has, he doesn't have much chance to use it during school...
Once in Diagon Alley, they meet up with the rest of the Weasley family at the Blotted Bookstore.
Mrs. Weasley was carrying a lot of bought, and behind her stood the twins, Fred and George, Percy was in the store with a book to read, and Jonn was not there, probably running out for a walk and not coming back.
When Percy saw Roger and the others coming, he solemnly stretched out his hand and shook them one by one, as if he had never met a few people: "I'm so happy to see you, my sister didn't trouble you, did she?"
Percy pretended to be meeting with a high-ranking government official.
"How... Ling Mei can come to the humble house, which simply makes the burrow shine. Roger couldn't help but learn his tone and dragged the text.
"Oh, Tablebreaker!" Fred next to him exclaimed in surprise, pushing Percy away with his elbow, and then bowed deeply to Roger, "It's an honor to meet you, old man... In your absence, we don't even eat well. ā
"Harry!" George pushed Fred away with the same exaggerated scream, grabbing Harry's hand next to Roger, "Wonderful, it's nice to see you..."
Percy roared.
"That's enough, you two!" said Mrs. Weasley, handing the twins what she had bought.
