Chapter 359: The Unforgivable Curse
The Slytherin and Gryffindor students sat quietly in their seats, with the Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Defense waiting for Professor Moody on their desks. Pen @ fun @ pavilion wWw. ļ½ļ½ļ½Uļ½Eć ļ½ļ½ļ½ļ½
Because of what happened in the auditorium, many of the students were in awe of Moody's, and this was the first time that all the students had been so quiet before the teacher had even arrived in the classroom.
The students didn't have to wait long before Moody's characteristic footsteps came down the hallway. He walked into the classroom looking as weird and scary as usual.
"Put away all this useless stuff. He said in a rough voice as he laboriously walked to the edge of the podium on crutches and sat down, "In my class, you don't need these hard things to use as pillows. ā
The students all put their textbooks in their school bags, but Hermione looked very reluctant. Obviously, she disagreed with Professor Moody's that the textbook was useless.
"I have received letters from Professor Lupin, who have told me about the situation here. Professor Moody glanced at the students under the podium with his magical eyes, "According to him, you've got a pretty good idea of how to deal with dark magic creatures............ You've learned how to deal with the Boggart, the Red Hat, the Hinkpunk, the Grindellow, the Kaba, and the Werewolves, right?"
The classmate nodded in agreement.
"I don't think you've learned enough about how to deal with spells.......... Not enough!" Professor Moody said, "So I'm going to give you a taste of the spells between wizards. I've got a year to teach you how to deal with the Dark Devils................"
"What, what did you say?" Ron shouted suddenly.
Everyone looked at Ron, not understanding why Ron seemed so excited.
Professor Moody's magical eyes turned to fix on Ron. Ron looked terrified, and although he admired Professor Moody's harsh lecture on Malfoy, he was also very afraid of Professor Moody.
However, Professor Moody did not do anything to Ron, instead, he smiled at Ron. This is the first time everyone has seen Professor Moody actually smile, although he laughs very scary and it is better not to laugh, but he can show such a friendly smile, at least it means that Ron will not be taught a lesson by him.
"You're Arthur Weasley's son, huh?" Moody asked Ron, but his tone was very affirmative, "A few days ago, your father helped me out of a very difficult situation.............. Oh, yes......... I only teach for one year. This is a favor for Dumbledore...... Teach only for one year........... Then I started living my peaceful retirement life all over again. ā
Moody smiled weirdly, then patted his large, rough hands.
"Alright, let's get down to business. Spells come in many forms, each with different magical powers. Now, according to the Ministry of Magic, all I'm going to teach you is all sorts of spell-breaking spells, and that's it. ā
Moody deliberately paused here and continued, "Logically speaking, you're not in the sixth year, and I shouldn't have told you what an illegal dark magic spell looks like, because you're too young to deal with this thing. But Professor Dumbledore praised you for your courage, and he thought you could handle it. And in my opinion, I personally think that it would be good for you to know about these things earlier. If there's something you've never seen before, how do you know how to protect yourself?"
The students nodded approvingly. Students at this age are at the height of Secondary 2 disease, and they will think wishfully that they are the protagonists, and they can cope with things that others can't. Except, of course, Harry, who was tired of being pointed at like a monkey when the protagonist was being pointed at.
Moody added, "Imagine if there was a strange wizard who used a magic on you in front of you that you had never heard of, he would not tell you what magic he was using. He will not tell you frankly, justly, and politely what spell he is going to use on you, and what kind of effect that spell will have, so please prepare accordingly in advance. You'd better get that thing out of the way while I'm talking, Miss Brown. ā
Raven was startled, and his little face turned red. Just now, she showed Parvati the drawn fortune-telling chart of the Heavenly Palace under the table. Obviously, Professor Moody's magic eye wasn't put on for the sake of pretty, it was obvious that it could see through objects.
"So........ Do any of you know which spells are subject to the harshest punishment of wizarding law?"
Several hands were raised tremblingly, including Hermione and Ron's. It wasn't surprising that Hermione raised her hand to answer the question, after all, no matter what class it was, she always raised her hand as soon as the teacher's question was over.
And this seems to be the first time that Ron has taken the initiative to raise his hand to answer a question, and it seems that Ron really admires Moody very much and wants to show himself as much as possible in front of Moody.
Professor Moody gestured at Ron, motioning for him to answer the question, but his magical eyes were still staring at Lavender.
"Uh......... That's it........." Ron said a little weakly, "my dad told me a ............ It's called...... Imperius or something........... Right?"
"Ah, yes. Professor Moody expressed his unreserved appreciation for Ron, "Your father will surely know about the spell. Of course, that spell caused the Ministry of Magic quite a bit of trouble. ā
Moody looked very difficult to stand up on his prosthetic leg, opened the lectern drawer, and pulled out a glass bottle. I saw that three spiders were crawling around inside.
Moody reached into the bottle and grabbed one of the spiders and placed it in the palm of his hand. Everyone could clearly see him pointing his wand at it, and whispered, "Out of body!"
The spider jumped out of Moody's palm, dangling a spider silk and swaying back and forth, like a child swinging on a swing.
Suddenly, the spider stiffened its legs, then turned around and flipped over, the thin silk was torn off, and it fell on the table, and began to flip around the table. Moody flicked his wand, and it danced on two legs again, and it was a tap dance, yes, tap dance!
Everyone laughed, and it was very interesting.
Moody's face was expressionless, and he asked in a rough voice, "You all think it's fun, don't you? If someone uses this magic on you, will you still find it fun?"
The laughter disappeared almost immediately. It's very interesting to see someone else make a fool of themselves, but if the person who makes a fool of yourself is not interesting at all.
