7. Prayer beads

Xia Ji slept in the dark pavilion all night, and the next morning he heard the guards outside the door respectfully shouting, "See Concubine Wan Niangniang", the voice came from far and near, until the door of the Scripture Pavilion was directly pushed open.

A gorgeous concubine walked in, her eyebrows and eyes were soft, she was not arrogant, her clothes were not ostentatious, she was decent, and there was a tear mole under the corner of her left eye, which showed a little mercy, this is now the concubine who is favored by the Son of Heaven, the biological mother of the third prince.

Concubine Wan came to the house and waved her hand directly: "You guys go down first." ”

The eunuchs and guards hurriedly retreated, withdrew from the courtyard, and stood guard from a distance.

Xia Ji patted Yuebai's shirt and saluted, "I've seen Concubine Wan." ”

The gorgeous woman glanced at the young man, and saw that his eyebrows and eyes were somewhat similar to the woman, and a hint of disgust flashed faintly in her eyes, but this look was fleeting, and she said directly: "The Son of Heaven has passed you and the Nine Emperor Maidens to me, and you should call me my mother in the future." ”

The two looked at each other silently.

The corners of Concubine Wan's lips curled: "Seeing the concubine, don't you kneel?"

Xia Ji: "Sitting quietly in the small pavilion all the year round, my knees are not good, and I can't kneel." ”

"Then you can still hike up Mount Meru?" Concubine Wan sneered disapprenously, "Since you have a Buddha fate, I can help you become a Buddha, but a Buddha also has a mother, and you also need to follow filial piety, and I am your mother!"

Xia Ji asked rhetorically: "Then dare to ask Concubine Wanniang, who proposed the marriage of the Nine Princesses to the Turks?"

Concubine Wan was stunned, then laughed, and then sneered lightly: "You have a bit of wisdom, you can see the clues, it seems that it is not a coincidence that you have cultivated this Zen heart and broken the sea of suffering."

But if you have the wisdom to see, don't you have the wisdom to keep silent?

If you keep your mouth shut, that's wisdom, and when you open your mouth, you're clever.

The saddest thing in the world is that there are only a few clever people. ”

Xia Ji was not annoyed, his expression was as calm as ever.

At this point, it has come to an end.

It's just that it is clarified again that "the Tao is different, and it is not conspiratory".

He opened the Buddhist scripture, and there was no longer the concubine opposite him in his eyes.

Concubine Wan glanced at him coldly, and said softly: "If it really has three points of demonic nature, it seems that Zhai has not yet cut off this demonic nature." ”

With that, she waved her long sleeves and went out of the attic.

Behind him came the sound of reciting Buddhist scriptures sincerely:

"There is no suffering to gather and destroy the path, there is no wisdom and there is no gain, so there is no gain, Bodhisattva. According to Prajnaparamita, there is no obstacle in the mind, no hindrance, no terror..."

Concubine Wan sneered, an incomparable look of disgust appeared on her face, and her walking speed sped up a few points.

Xia Ji chanted the sutra until the evening, and the fasting food sent was much lighter.

In the past, vegetarian oil was used, but now it is boiled, and all the seasoning spices are not put away, and the entrance is simply tasteless.

The prince ate calmly, and thanked the palace maid after eating.

The palace maid hurriedly returned the salute in a panic, but in her heart she still felt that this prince was really gentle, different from other royal families, and then hurried out.

Not long after the palace maid left, the Nine Emperor Maidens returned, and she seemed to be in a good mood, which was really good.

Xia Ji felt her long-lost happiness, so she asked, "Xiao Su, what good things have happened?"

Xia Xiaosu Qi said: "Brother, how do you know?"

"It's all written in the eyes. ”

Xia Xiaosu blinked, then leaned closer and said, "Brother, don't tell others." ”

Xia Ji smiled and touched her head, "Although the imperial city is big, who else can I talk to?"

Xia Xiaosu got closer, and said softly: "That's the case, today I went to Leiyin Temple to pray for blessings and incense, and I met a little fox in the mountains who was caught in the trap of the beast and caught his legs, and the blood flowed, and it looked very painful."

So I opened the trap for it, drugged it, bandaged it briefly, and the little fox was very psychic, rubbed it on my leg three times, and then reluctantly walked away. I was very happy to see that it could be saved, to return to the mountains and forests, and I didn't know what was going on. ”

Xia Xiaosu said as she smiled immersed in memories.

Xia Ji also smiled, her sister is still a sixteen-year-old girl, although she has been in the deep palace for a long time, she is still kind-hearted, or she feels that she is a caged bird, can bring freedom to the little fox, she also has the joy of empathy.

...

In the following days, the meal became more and more bland, no oil, no salt, and even in order to allow the Seven Emperors' cultivation of Buddha not to be disturbed, even the Nine Emperor Daughters could not bring wine and meat into the Tibetan Scripture Pavilion.

Xia Ji was not impatient.

He has been waiting for more than two years, and if he wants to come out of the small building, he naturally wants to wait for a while.

Time, life.

Potential, number also.

He is waiting for the current situation, that is, he is waiting for his life, if this life is really mediocre, and the world is really unprosperous, then he will leave here directly with Xiao Su in a month and a half.

Now, the time has not yet come, and the Buddhist scriptures that can be seen have all been extracted from the skill beads, and there is no other meaning except recitation.

So he asked for a piece of agarwood, a carving knife.

He was very impressed by the rotten chessboard on the ninth peak of Sumeru before, and the chessboard infused with spiritual power was so mysterious that it could make people hallucinate enough to be real.

He has the ninth level of Nyolai Zen, and he will still be involved, let alone others.

So, now he has a nine-layer Nyolai Zen, a nine-layer lamp-burning Zen, so why can't he try to integrate spiritual power into the tip of the knife and into the woodcut prayer beads?

So, before dawn came, he got up, sat in the dark, closed his eyes, took a carving knife, and slowly carved the agarwood.

His hands are a little thin, but they are steady.

A scorching sun emitting bright light appeared between the hand and the knife, but under Xia Ji's deliberate convergence, the light and heat of this scorching sun were only limited to the tip of the knife.

This is the "Nine Yang Heart Sutra" that he extracted from the "Diamond Sutra".

The so-called Jiuyang, is according to the principle of the five elements, the true qi is stored in the heart, dantian, foot yang stomach, foot sun bladder, hand sun small intestine, hand Shaoyang three meridians, backbone, to yang, Baihui these nine acupoints, each acupoint is successfully condensed, is to give birth to a yang, and the nine acupoints are all through, that is, independent Jiuyang.

The whole body is spread like the earth, the viscera is like a mountain forest, and the nine suns are hanging in the air.

From then on, it is natural that there will be no diseases, and the true qi is like a great river.

In the dark, the tip of the knife flashed with a dazzling hot light, and the agarwood was like paper, not a little faster, not a little slower.

Xia Ji's wrist flipped over, and soon eighteen log beads had been torn out.

Unpolished, these are just wooden beads.

And eighteen represents the six roots, the six dusts, and the six senses.

Then, he picked up the first wooden bead, put away the scorching sun in his palm, and even threw away the carving knife in his hand.

He only put his finger on the wooden bead, and the vast Buddha intention of the Zen mind had condensed his fingertips.

"Heaven and earth are sympathetic to my heart, and my heart is sympathetic to heaven and earth. ”

His fingertips dotted on the wooden beads, obviously there was no strong power, he didn't even carve them, but the wooden beads were already changing by themselves, until the outer periphery of the wooden beads was wrapped with a faint layer of gold paste, and the gold paste was like a dragon swimming away, the wood surface sank, and the gold swam until a "swastika" was formed.
