Chapter 162: Prophecy and Curse
As the divination class begins, Louis and Linda walk into the classroom. Pen ~ Fun ~ Pavilion www.biquge.info This is Professor Trelawney's class, she is the granddaughter of a great prophet, and she refuses to say it herself, she has perfectly inherited her grandfather's gift for prophecy.
When he walked into the divination class, Louis found that it didn't look like a classroom at all. There were more than two dozen small round tables inside, and the whole room was very dim. Louis doesn't really like this environment, he still likes sunny afternoons, drinking tea while basking in the sun.
The students walked into the classroom in twos and threes, sitting around the small round table. Everyone was looking for the Professor, could it be like Professor McGonagall something, like one of so many little round tables?
To everyone's disappointment, however, Professor Terry Lauter did not turn into a small round table, but simply wore a black cloak and hid in the dark corner of the classroom.
Linda patted Louis lightly and motioned for him to look behind his left. Louis turned his head to look over and saw Hermione looking at Professor Trelawney earnestly.
"Young Master, Hermione is really coming to class, does this mean that she really plans to go through all the classes?" asked the little maid quietly.
"Maybe she gave up the other two classes and chose this one?" Louis said casually.
Looking at Louis, who was perfunctory herself, the little maid puffed out her mouth angrily.
"Close your eyes and diverge your thoughts. A grumbling voice came.
Most of the students subconsciously closed their eyes when they heard the sound, and many of them even got goosebumps.
"Young Master, can she really prophesy?" asked Linda with interest.
Almost everyone is interested in the future, and if you see the future, you can avoid a lot of bad things. For example, if you predict that you will fall down the stairs again tomorrow, then be careful when you walk tomorrow, and you will be fine.
"Predicting the future? Louis laughed mockingly. If there really was someone who could predict the future, their family would have arrested that person and kept him in the dungeon to prophesy for them.
"Do you think she's a liar?" asked the little maid.
"It's not a matter of deceiving or not, do you know what prophecy is?" asked Louis.
"Isn't it just a foreknowledge of what will happen in the future?" replied the little maid.
"Do you know what a curse is?" asked Louis again.
"Isn't it just a curse for someone else?" said the little maid, puzzled, and she was obviously asking about the curse, why Louis suddenly got into the curse.
"Then you never thought that there was any difference between them?" asked Louis, his mouth slightly curled.
"Of course there is a difference, one is a prophecy and the other is a curse, they ........." the little maid's words abruptly stopped, and she suddenly realized that there seemed to be no difference between the two.
"It seems that you have also discovered that there is no difference between prophecy and curse. Louis smiled and said, "There's no essential difference between my prediction that Weasley will fall tomorrow and I curse Weasley for falling tomorrow." All I expected was a Weasley fall, it doesn't matter if you describe it as a prophecy or a curse, it will all end the same. ”
"That means that those so-called prophecies are actually curses?" asked the little maid incredulously, Louis's explanation almost subverting her three views.
"That's right, so to speak. Louis nodded, "But it's not something to be cursed with, and usually the so-called prophets enter a state in which they themselves are not conscious. ”
"And what is Professor Terraut's state now?" asked Linda.
"It's just deliberately pretending to be like this, which makes people feel mysterious, but it's actually all a lie. Louis said, waving his hand.
When Linda heard Louis's words, she immediately lost interest in the class. Since prophecy can't be learned, she doesn't have to concentrate so much.
And Trelaud was still pretending to be mysterious and saying something incomprehensible, and most of the students were infected by this atmosphere, and they were all stunned by her.
"Young Master, why did Professor Dumbledore let her teach at the school?" the little maid asked, puzzled.
"After all, his grandfather was indeed a famous prophet, and there was a need for such a class in school to mix credits, wouldn't he?" Louis said with a smile.
"Indeed, such a course is very good for mixed credits. The little maid nodded in agreement.
"Maybe under her education, we really have one or two great prophets in our school?" said Louis with a wink.
The little maid gave Louis a blank look, and just now said that this was a prophecy made unconsciously, and she didn't know it afterwards. Now he says that he can teach others, isn't it obvious that he is lying to her.
