029: Slay the Evil
Eve had never had such an experience, and never wanted to—like being tied up and thrown off a cliff by a kidnapper. Pen~Fun~Pavilion www.biquge.info Eve couldn't help but scream, and a piece of space that had been broken down into a separate room flashed beside her. The process didn't last long before Eve fell heavily on a chunk of viscous, foul-smelling liquid.
"Poof!" Eve got up as fast as she could in her life, and spat out everything that had been poured into her mouth, the smell almost causing her to vomit her gastric juices. She slowed down, she seemed to be somewhere in a sewer, and the black substance under her feet flowed slowly and steadily behind her like flowing water, towards Kyle Redan.
At least they didn't try to swallow me, Eve thought, and she was a little lucky to think so. She put her hand to her waist, where the marvelous sword hung quietly, and she felt a little relieved, it was her only reliance.
Eve gripped the hilt of her sword, and for the first time tried to talk to it. "Hey, I say, why is it quiet all of a sudden?" she wasn't sure if she had conveyed her thoughts to the sword, and if not, what she was doing now could be called funny.
But Eve didn't have to worry about this problem at all, because Sword always took the initiative to communicate with her, and still is. "I want him, I want him, let me eat him. "It's still the same as before, like a child, begging for toys like a coquettish. This time, Eve decided to listen to its thoughts. "Okay, I promise you, but you have to tell me, what do I do?"
"Kill him, pierce him in the heart. In an innocent tone, it uttered cruel words. "I'm going to be strong, I'm going to be smart. He added that it seemed that some kind of cult-suspected sacrificial act was the way for it to grow.
"Hey, it's not that I don't want to help you, but I can't hurt him at all. His armor is indestructible, and you can't deal with it. Eve unconsciously took the sword for a child, and said in a teasing tone.
"I can! I can!" It was like a cat with its tail stepped on, and if it had hair, it would have exploded. "I can kill him, nothing can stop me!" it said angrily, but it seemed a little unemboldened. "Only, as long as I can use my full strength. ”
"That's the problem, how do you exert your strength?" Eve asked, but remembered the conversation between them. "Hmm, do you need me to call your name?" Eve remembered that it had allowed herself to call her name. After receiving the affirmation, Eve asked, "But if you don't tell me, how can I know your name?"
"You know. It said. "But how so?" "You just know! you're my master, you know for sure!" it said anxiously. "My master will always call out my name, and just call my name and I will eat those delicious people!"
Eve frowned slightly, it seemed that this sword didn't know who she was. It seems that I have to find another way. "Wait, you said your master? how many masters did you have before?" Eve noticed that it referred to its own master, and that clearly didn't refer to herself.
"One. It replied. "No, you don't know my name, you're not my master!" replied sharply and firmly. "Hey, don't forget who you're holding in your hands right now. Its words upset Eve. "I am your master. "You're not!" "I am." "You're not!" "I am." "You're not!" "I'm a !" Eve felt that she must be stupid now, she was not communicating with it for the time being, and she could not agree with it for the time being.
She had clearly not forgotten that she was in a very unsuitable place to stay for a long time, and both the scattered space around her and the foul-smelling liquid under her feet reminded her of her current situation.
Eve couldn't help but regret a little, she saw "fate", whether it was true or not, she would never want that fate to come. So she thought that she had the only weapon in her hand that could kill the culprit, and she decided to end this nightmare for herself, but she had only just begun, and she had already encountered setbacks. She wondered if she would be able to succeed.
This thought didn't last long, and Eve put it behind her. In any case, as the lord of Kyrrydan, the venerable Earl of Falst, she has an obligation, and a necessity, to stand up and settle everything that threatens everything she cares about.
She breathed a sigh of relief, and then set out on her path to find and kill the Mist Knight. Actually, it's not a very difficult thing to do, as the distance between them is closer than Eve thinks. Maybe it's because of the chaos of the space, maybe it's because it's not wide enough. In any case, in the dim light, Eve was surprised to find that the Mist Knight was right in front of her.
He looked like he had completely merged with the black substance, turning into a fat, filthy, deformed monster. The only difference was that there was a faint light on his chest, constantly seeping through a little bit of light. Eve thought, it must be James. Since the light has not been extinguished, it means that he is probably still alive. Thinking of this, Eve felt a little relieved.
The Mist Knight doesn't seem to have noticed Eve yet, and he's behaving like a bad-stomached hound, dying and in pain. The light must have burned your ugly body, Eve thought to herself, this was the best chance for her.
She didn't miss the moment, she boldly approached him, and followed his drooping "arms" to his mist-enveloped body, and Eve was sure that if she killed him, everything here would be gone. The Mist Knight spotted Eve, but couldn't even lift his hand except for a few gasps oozing through his throat.
Eve walked up to him unhindered and looked him straight in the eye. Eve was amazed to find that the eyes were not as empty as before, but mixed with strong feelings—the most obvious of which was fear.
Eve smiled contemptuously, monsters were also afraid of death, so he had nothing to fear. "I'm sorry, but for Kyle Redan's sake, you have to die. Eve had to admit that she had some sympathy for the unadult, but she rarely let reason take a back seat. Eve drew her sword and slowly aimed at the gap in her armor, hoping that it would be a breach. "It's a pity that it can't pierce the heart. Eve thought with some regret, she was curious what would happen if she did it.
"Wait...... Please don't do that. Please don't hurt him. Just as Eve was about to make a move, Jaime's voice came to her ears.
