Chapter 108: Maybe It Can Be Savaged Yet?
Seeing Hermione and the others standing there dumbfounded, Louis said, "I think..... Well.... We'd better get out of here. Pen @ fun @ pavilion wWw. ļ½ļ½ļ½Uļ½Eć ļ½ļ½ļ½ļ½ā
"We weren't supposed to try to salvage .........," Harry said with some certainty.
"Hey, listen to me, Harry. Louis interrupted Harry, "I don't want to be seen standing like that, Filch would go crazy if he knew." ā
Unfortunately, it was too late, and a commotion came from a distance, as if to tell them that the banquet was over. From the ends of the corridor where they were, the sound of hundreds of feet walking up the stairs and the sound of people talking and laughing.
"Oh, damn it, I'm going to eat in the ballroom," Louis said with annoyance, "and now it's not just dinner gone to waste, it's all about this shit." ā
When the person walking in front saw the upside-down cat, the sound of talking and laughing suddenly disappeared. Louis and the others were alone in the middle of the hallway surrounded by a group of students, who crowded forward to watch the horrific scene.
"What's going on here, except what?" came Filch's loud shout, and it was obvious that he was drawn to the crowd. When he saw Lady Loris, he stumbled back several times, his hands clutching the air in horror.
"My cat!my cat!, what's wrong with my Lady Loris!," he screamed.
That's when his bulging eyes saw Harry.
"You!" he said sharply, pointing at Harry, "You! you killed my cat! you killed it! I want to kill you! I want you to ........."
"Filch!" Dumbledore arrived at the scene just in time, followed by some of the other professors. In the blink of an eye, he reached Louis and untied Lady Loris from the torch holder.
"Come with me, Filch. Dumbledore said calmly, "And you, please come with me." He said, staring at Louis.
Lockhart rushed to the front, and he couldn't wait to introduce his office: "My office is closest to here, it's upstairs, if you don't mind, you can ......"
"Thank you, Gildero. Dumbledore said.
The quiet crowd parted to the sides so that they could pass. Lockhart looked very excited, and it was clear that there was a murder that would make a better show for his talent, even if it was a cat who was murdered. He followed Dumbledore with a swagger, as if he were some important person.
As they walked into Lockhart's dimly lit office, there was a commotion on the wall. Louis panicked and hid when he saw the picture of Lockhart on the wall, with curling irons in their hair. The real Loja lit the candle and stepped back. Dumbledore carefully placed Lady Loris on the polished table and began to examine it.
Ron looked uneasy, considering that Ron's mother had said to take him back if he was in trouble. If this matter is on his head, poor Ron will have to say goodbye to school life.
Dumbledore's long hooked nose almost touched Lady Loris, and he looked at him carefully through the lenses of his half-moon glasses, his slender fingers poking at it here and there. Professor McGonagall was the same as Dumbledore, her face almost on the cat's body, and she squinted at it.
Only Snape stepped forward to observe Lady Loris, who stood in the shadows in the corner, looking particularly eerie. And his face was very strange, as if he was forcing himself not to laugh. Obviously, our Professor Snape, like everyone else, didn't really like the cat.
"It must have been a spell that killed him, a deformed torture spell. I've seen people use this spell many times, and it's a shame I wasn't there, I just knew how to break it, and I could have saved it........."
Just as Lockhart was talking about it, his words were interrupted by Filch's sad sobs.
Filch was sitting in a chair beside him, and he covered his face with his hands, not daring to look at Lady Loris. Although he has a bad reputation among students, it is for the sake of the school after all, and there is nothing wrong with his responsibilities in that position.
Harry and Ron looked at Filch sympathetically, but Louis personally felt that they should be more sympathetic to him, and if Filch decided that they had done it, they would have to pack up their things.
At this point, Dumbledore whispered some strange incantations, and he tapped Lady Loris's wand with his wand, but unfortunately there was no response. Lady Loris lay there stiff, like a mummy, and there was no strip of cloth to tie it up.
