Chapter 5

I turned my head to see the man dressed in black, with long hair over his shoulders and hair loosely tied back at the back of his head. His contours were deep, his eyebrows rose into his sideburns, and there was a small red scar above his cheekbone, as if it had been scratched by the sharp claws of an animal, and it looked like he had just been injured.

I was a little excited, and my gut told me that he was the person I was looking for. I slowly stood up, "I'm just Burning Fanghua, I have wine here, do you have a story?"

He looked at me, then at Mandy, and said, "This story can only be told to you alone! But please get me some water first, I'm dying of thirst!"

Maybe his temperament is too mysterious and special, and even Mandy, who has always been domineering, didn't raise any objections at this time, "Then you talk, I'll sit over there!" she pointed to the table behind her.

I watched him drink his fifth glass of water and cautiously asked, "Can we start?" I put my hands together on the table, but I was very worried that I should not be boring anymore.

He put down the glass and looked up into my eyes, and I realized that his pupils were actually dark blue, he was half-blood, and I was more and more curious about him.

"Once upon a time, there was an ancient castle in the desert, and there was a princess in the castle, who was said to be as beautiful as a fairy, and the suitors came to her, and the princess asked everyone to guess three riddles, and only those who answered all three questions correctly could marry her. Countless people have come here, but no one can guess all the answers!" he began, in a low, hoarse voice that seemed to have a magical power that made me want to find out.

"One day a knight came, and the princess asked him three questions, the first being 'What animal walks on four feet in the morning, two at noon, and three feet in the evening?'

At this point, he seemed to be lost in thought, and I was completely fascinated by this wonderful story, such a tricky riddle, and I could guess that the answer to the first riddle was "man", but what were the last two answers?

"Did the knight guess the riddle?" I asked urgently.

He looked at me and looked out the window again, "The knight told the princess that the answers to the three riddles were people, the princess's curls, and blood. ”

"Great! Then they must be happy together in the end!" I felt as if I had seen the end of the story, seen the popularity of my new book, and seen this magical story being made into a movie and sold well.

Just as I was falling into an endless fantasy, a cold voice interrupted me, "No, that's another story!"

My curiosity grew, "Then tell me the end of the story!"

He looked at me, "I have one condition too!"
