Chapter 25: Meditation
Kevin first gently patted the soldier's cheek, and when he found no response, he stepped forward and opened the soldier's eyelids.
However, stimulated by the light source, the soldier's pupils did not turn.
"Even the instinctive reaction of the body is gone, am I too heavy?"
Kevin was a little embarrassed, because he couldn't expose the matter of tracking, then the soldier must be under his control, and it was obviously inappropriate to leave it here.
He had no choice but to put the soldiers up again, and took advantage of the cover of night to return to the villa area from the remote path.
"Huh, it's so late, and the lights on the first floor are still on. β
Kevin threw the soldier into the grass next to him and walked in himself.
In the villa, a baby-faced woman was lying on the sofa on her side, her petite body was completely sunk into the sofa, her lower body was wearing a light blue short skirt, and her slender white legs were exposed, full of temptation, it was the maid Nicole.
Ni saw someone come in, rubbed her hazy eyes, and stood up.
She saw Kevin staring straight at his legs, two blush on his cheeks, and his little hands resting on the hem of his skirt.
"I saw that you didn't go back to the villa during the day, thinking that you must be busy with classes, and I was afraid that you didn't eat at night, so I waited here. Nicole squirmed and lowered her head, biting her lower lip and whispering.
Kevin breathed heavily, forcibly suppressed the fire in his heart, and said calmly: "You have a heart, it just so happens that I am also hungry, you go to the kitchen to prepare a steak for two and serve it." β
Since he crossed over, he has been using reason to suppress his desires, but as a result, he was almost unable to control it as soon as he was seduced by the beautiful maid today.
Nicole is not as innocent as she seems, and she wants to develop a more intimate relationship with Kevin.
Still not enough concentration...
Kevin shook his head, calming his emotions. When he saw the maid walk to the kitchen, he carried the soldier in the grass up to the second floor and opened the door.
He threw the soldier on the ground, and just as he tried to turn around and lock the door, he noticed an unnatural twitch on the soldier's face.
"Don't pretend to be asleep when you wake up!" Kevin snorted.
Hearing this, the soldier's face suddenly turned pale, and he opened his eyes and looked at Kevin in horror: "You!"
"If you make another sound, you'll never wake up. Kevin covered the soldier's mouth, turned his right hand into a knife, and threatened in his mouth.
The soldier nodded desperately, signaling that he would not speak again.
Kevin let go of his hand, took the marquis's badge, approached the soldier and said, "Don't tell me about the attack, I was commissioned by Principal Brandon to investigate a matter." β
The soldier froze for a moment, then began to nod desperately again.
Kevin knew he didn't believe his words at all, and was about to continue explaining.
"Crunch. β
The door of the room was slowly pushed open, and Nicole stood outside the door with a plate of steaming ham, and said in a cheerful tone, "I found some cooked food in the kitchen and served it first..."
The voice stopped abruptly, and Nicole saw that the two were lying on the ground, close to each other, and her face suddenly stiffened.
She cursed in her heart, she had been in Wellington for many years, and she had heard that some nobles had special habits that were not known, but she didn't expect Kevin to be one of them.
"Bang. β
She turned her head away, put down the ham, and hurried out of the room, closing the door tightly.
Kevin covered his forehead a little speechlessly, knowing that Nicole had misunderstood something.
He was slightly irritable, and suddenly lost the desire to talk to the soldier, and the muscles of his arm accumulated, and the soldier was stunned to the ground again.
"Damn, it's really troublesome, I still need to find Brandon to prove it, just kill him. Looking at the unconscious soldier, this thought suddenly crossed Kevin's heart.
He took a deep breath and dispelled the thoughts in his mind.
First of all, he couldn't completely destroy the corpse, and the death of the soldier would cause some waves, and with the vigilance of the woman, it was easy to make associations.
Moreover, the soldier is completely innocent and of no value to Kevin, and he is not a madman who destroys his humanity and kills people for a trivial matter.
Since coming into contact with the knowledge of wizards, Kevin has a faint sense of superiority at the life level in his heart, and he has become more and more contemptuous of the lives of ordinary people.
Although he did not show it in his daily behavior, his mind was uncontrollably affected.
Kevin went downstairs to find a rope, tied up the soldiers, and locked all the doors and windows. Only then did he walk over to his desk and carefully take out the Universal Meditation Method and the Crystal Pillar.
He looked at it for a moment, and the Universal Meditation Method was a thin white booklet with a huge six-pointed star on the cover, and he didn't find anything special, and then he reached out and turned the first page.
On the title page of the book, there is a line of bold black lettersβ"Those who are not wizards are not allowed to read!"
Underneath the black letters is a red pen drawing the outline of the palm with a cue symbol next to it.
Kevin didn't hesitate and pressed his palm directly on the page.
The outline of the palm on the page was much larger than Kevin's, but now the line was as alive as it was, twisting and clinging to the edge of his palm.
A huge attraction suddenly came, and Kevin's palm was stubbornly attached to the book.
He felt a burning breath running down his palm and near his chest, a breath that made the right side of his heart ache.
"I see, is this to detect whether there is a demon source in the reader's body?"
Suddenly, the outline of the red palm disappeared out of thin air, and a strong golden halo shone out from the page, and Kevin couldn't open his eyes.
When the golden light dissipated, he looked at it and found that the entire Universal Meditation Method had become a blank sheet of paper. There was nothing on the white paper but dense black spirals.
As soon as Kevin's eyes came into contact with the black spiral, his attention was deeply attracted to the spiral, and he could no longer take his eyes off it.
"Boom!"
As if struck by lightning, his mind went blank.
The black spiral spun wildly, getting faster and faster, and the lines almost coincided.
Eventually, all the black spirals converge into a bottomless black hole.
The strange thing is that although the black hole is on paper, it is like a three-dimensional one, and black liquid is constantly flowing out of the hole.
The black liquid formed a pool of water on the ground, and then rapidly spread in all directions.
The black liquid is like a very corrosive sulfuric acid, whether it is a table, chair, bed, stone, everything contaminated with the black liquid will melt into a pool of black water in a very short time.
"No!!"
Faced with such a sight, Kevin felt creepy, and in an instant, fear swept through his body.
He jumped sideways and smashed the glass on the second floor.
