Chapter 320: Yavin No. 4

Planet Yavin IV.

Yavin 4 is one of three habitable moons in the Yavin system. Its lush jungle life has long been intertwined with a war-torn history. For thousands of years, the Yavin 4 satellite has been a key point in the decisive battle of the galaxy at least twice.

The Yavin 4 satellite is a young world full of geothermal activity. 69% of its surface is covered by land and is divided into four continents. Six interconnected oceans and an inland body of water large enough to be called an ocean cover the rest of the satellite's surface. A few decades ago, explorers from the Wetin Colony tentatively named the four continents Startower, Swinven, Kus, and Wetin.

As it orbits a gas giant, the Yavin 4 moon has two nights. With its back to the Sun but facing the gas giant, the Aven 4 moon enters the twilight of the night, when the jungle is bathed in a soft red light. When the moon turns its back to the sun and planets at the same time, or when a gas giant obscures the sun, the moon goes into night. As a result of the rotation of the Yavin 4 satellite, it experiences extremely long nights every few months. At this time, a sudden drop in temperature can cause a violent storm.

The so-called "rainbow rainstorm" is another beautiful phenomenon on the Yavin 4 satellite. They occur when the Sun pokes its head out of the edge of the gas giant, at which point sunlight passes through the hazy upper atmosphere of the gas giant. This causes polarization of light. When it hit the ice crystals in the upper atmosphere of the Yavin 4 satellite, a massive flickering rainbow rain appeared.

The jungle of the Avin 4 moon is never quiet, and at night, the newts howl high in the trees, and the Yavin Roonep or Stintaril rats make foraging sounds with their noses. Other life forms include anglers, armored eels, crayfish, slime salamanders, fire bees, man-eating beetles, and crystal snakes.

Thousands of years ago, the exiled Sith Lord Naga Sado fled to the Yavin 4 moon in order to escape the enemy forces pursued from the hyperspace war. Sado ordered his crew to build large temples as focal points for their Sith magic. A skilled alchemist, Sado buried his ship deep beneath the newly built Sith Fire Temple. Sado used Sith magic and alchemy to turn the descendants of his Sith crew into mutated Masasi warriors. These Massassians guarded their newly built Sith Temple. After Sado's death, the Massasi continued to develop and gradually became a proud tribal civilization. They augment their old weapons with the dark side of the Force.

Hundreds of years later, a young Jedi named Exa Kuhn began experimenting with the dark side of the Force, following the instructions of the ancient Sisian scriptures to the Avin 4 moon. He enslaved the Massasians, forcing them to build new temples as focal points for Sith power. At the height of the Sith War, Exa Kuhn brought 20 new Jedi to the satellite of Yavin 4 and poisoned them with the evil ghost of Gussy. After taking these Jedi under control, Kuhn unleashed the horrific Jedi Massacre. In retaliation, thousands of Jedi landed on this jungle moon under the leadership of Ulrik Kyle-Deroma.

Knowing that his defeat was a foregone conclusion, Kuhn drew on the life force of all the Massasis and sealed his consciousness in his own temple. As a last line of defense, Kuhn left the Night Beast (a product of alchemy) behind to guard his legacy. The Jedi Task Force succeeded in killing Kuhn's flesh, but the attack also destroyed large swaths of the jungle of the Avin 4 moon, killing all remaining Massasis. The only remaining remnants of this race are their large temples.

For thousands of years, the Yavin 4 satellite has been almost forgotten. During the Clone Wars, it only existed on a handful of star charts, and only the Jedi or Sith who had access to secret knowledge knew about the moon. Asagi Ventris lured Anakin Skywalker to the dilapidated Sith Temple of the Aven 4 moon and engaged him in a fierce lightsaber duel.

The satellite became famous again as a staging ground for the new base of the Rebel Alliance. After abandoning the Dantouin base, the Alliance's High Command moved to the temple of the Yavin 4 satellite. The rainforest provided cover for the Alliance, and the satellite's remote location in the Godian region limited the number of ships traveling to and from the spacecraft.

......

An Imperial ship sailed into orbit around the planet Yavin IV and descended into the atmosphere. Piercing through the atmosphere, looking down from the clouds tens of thousands of meters high, several irregular continents appear in front of you.

As the Imperial ship descended, it eventually came to a jungle-filled continent. And flying over these deep jungles, looking down from above, it is like driving on a green sea.

I don't know how long it flew, but above the blue sea, the top of a towering pyramid-like building appeared dozens of meters above the jungle, like a sailboat in the blue sea.

When the ship arrived, it began to slow down, and as it was about to reach the ancient pyramid building, it continued to descend downward. This is the secret command post that the rebels are currently setting up at Yavin IV.

Through communication, it was confirmed that under the command of the staff responsible for the take-off and landing of the spacecraft below, the spacecraft finally landed and docked on the tarmac.

The hatch opened, and Cassian Andor walked out with K-2SO first, followed by Jean Ersor and a cowering Bodhi Rook, then Richard looking at the tarmac with some curiosity, then Nobita with a gloomy face, and finally the two Will guards, Chiru Inwei and Baez Mabras.

As soon as he stepped off the ship, a herald approached Cassian Andor and said, "Captain Andor, the committee needs to hear your report. ”

"Well, okay. Tell the commissioners that I'll be there shortly. Cassian Andor nodded, turned to Jean Urso and Bodhi Rucker, and said, "You two come with me. ”

Immediately, Cassian Andor said to K-2SO, "You can help me entertain these guests. ”

"No problem, Cassian. K-2SO nodded.

Watch Cassian Andor go away with Jean Ersor and Bodhi Rucker. The rest of the people followed K-2SO towards a monumental castle. The rebel command post was built on a large group of ancient temples aboard the Yavin IV. As soon as the rebels arrived, they rebuilt all these ancient buildings. The pyramid that I saw at first was now a shelter for the rebels' various combat skills.

The rebels worked and studied in several nearby shrines. Of course, it's all been converted into a high-tech venue that fits the Star Wars worldview.
