Chapter 21: Christmas

In the last Quidditch match, Zhang Feng helped Harry attract Professor Quirrell, and Harry easily found the Golden Snitch without interference, helping Gryffindor to victory.

When Zhang Feng left the Quidditch arena, he happened to meet Dumbledore, who had just heard that Harry's broom had been cast by a spell. After seeing Zhang Feng give him a look, Dumbledore used his own means to probe behind Zhang Feng. Dumbledore knew that Harry was out of danger at this time, so he greeted Zhang Feng, took Zhang Feng's shoulder, and walked towards the castle with a smile.

After entering the castle, Professor Quirrell did not follow him, because the castle contained various defensive spells to prevent students from being mortally harmed.

"Mr. Feng Zhang, I think we should talk. Dumbledore let go of the hand holding Zhang Feng, his expression was a little solemn, and said.

"Mr. Headmaster, I feel that our goals are the same, although I do not agree with some of your methods. Professor Quirrell is a good guy himself, and I think he can be saved. Zhang Feng looked into Dumbledore's eyes and said to Dumbledore seriously.

Zhang Feng felt as if he had seen it wrong, Dumbledore's eyes flashed, and then said, "There is no problem with the character of a professor who can be hired by Hogwarts!"

Are you setting up a flag? What is Umbridge, not to mention the newly hired professors after Dumbledore was killed.

This brief exchange gave Dumbledore and Zhang Feng a certain sense of trust in each other.

As we enter December, the entire Western world is in the mood for Christmas, and the wizarding world is no exception. Wizards don't believe in Christ Jesus or God, but it's always a good idea to have another reason to celebrate!

One morning in mid-December, Hogwarts School woke up from a dream to find that it was covered with several feet of snow and that the lake was covered with hard ice. Several owls flew through the snowy skies to deliver mail, and after a lot of hardship, they had to regain their strength under Hagrid's care before they could continue to take off.

The school has begun to count the list of students who stay in school for the holidays, and if it weren't for the rich collection of books in the school library to pass the time, Zhang Feng and his trio would have been homesick and crazy, and of course they would have to go home for Christmas.

By the day before the holidays, Hagrid, the Hogwarts hunting groundsman, had all the Christmas trees ready, and the Great Hall was already home elves who didn't deserve to be beautiful. The walls were covered with weeping ribbons of holly and mistletoe, and a whole dozen towering Christmas trees were erected throughout the room, some with shiny Xiaoice pillars, others with hundreds of candles.

The night before the holiday, Hogwarts held a school-wide dinner in the ballroom, and then, of course, it was time to go home, and the poor little ones who didn't go home continued to stay in school. Zhang Feng and Zhang Qiu also returned to their homes.

Because of the fact that he and his sister's wands were cast traces, if they cast spells outside of school, they would be monitored by the Ministry of Magic. Therefore, after Zhang Feng returned home, he took a golden staff from the dark world and gave it to Zhang Qiu in case of accidents.

It snowed on Christmas Eve, and when Zhang Feng got up, he found that it was already white outside.

There are already a lot of gifts piled up under the Christmas tree at home, and Zhang Qiu is rarely getting up earlier than Zhang Feng today, and she is opening her own gifts.

Hermione gave Zhang Qiu a magic book of "Household Makeup Magic", and sure enough, the topic of dressing up was the best to discuss among girls. What she gave Zhang Feng was a copy of "Cooking Magic", is this to make Zhang Feng work hard to learn cooking skills?

Neville also sent gifts, a quill for Zhang Qiu, and a compass for Zhang Feng—Neville said in the letter that he had bought it from Chinatown.

Harry and Ron also gave gifts to the two of them, even though the two guys themselves were sitting on the edge of their seats and the other were destitute.

Harry gave them a box of chocolates per person, and Ron gave them a pair of wizarding chess pieces - worn, albeit worn.

Ron also wrote a long letter to Zhang Feng and Zhang Qiu, apologizing for his previous open-mouthedness, and of course apologizing for his recklessness on Halloween. In the letter, he tells Zhang Feng and Zhang Qiu that Harry has found the three-headed dog Lowe with him and Neville, and that he has heard about Nick Lemay from Hagrid, and they suspect that Professor Snape will steal something that Lewe guards.

After reading the letter, Zhang Feng smiled, and had a new understanding of Harry and Ron's innocence.

"But what is a philosopher's stone? it can turn stones into gold and live forever, I really want to study it. Zhang Feng thought to himself.
