Chapter 629: Sichev of the Mirror
Or maybe the clowns in town don't know why the garbage barrier they've worked so hard to set up disappears in the blink of an eye, which is a paranormal event for them. Regardless, when the minor leader of the mob tried to ask his men about the situation, almost all of them swore that they had not noticed anything out of the ordinary. Now the faces of the little leaders are starting to turn ugly, and those guys from the heavenly realm are likely to shoot themselves in the head with a weapon called a firearm because of this incident, and they feel a sense of crisis.
In the case of being outnumbered, the people of the Celestial Realm still had to act separately, they had too many things to do, and there were not enough people, so each person had to take on at least two or three people. Warhammer was the first to enter Sanban Street, and he had plenty of confidence in the route he had taken last time. Although the defense was strengthened on the east flank, Warhammer seemed to have as much confidence as usual. As for Walter, it will not be a "problem" at least, but a good helper who can help Warhammer in real action.
Nils and Carl are separated at the first intersection after entering the town, the former needs to find a sniper point, while the latter is mainly responsible for taking out the patrolling gangster thugs before approaching the center of the town, where the church is located. The assignment of tasks had been decided the night before, so now everyone was not dragging their feet in the slightest.
Freya and Erin are more stealthy, not so much because they don't want to waste their energy and bullets on the thugs, but because they are ready to attack the members of Callert from the start. The thugs and the members of Callert, the two targets are completely different in their eyes. If the former is a bag of counterfeit copper coins, then the latter is a whole warehouse of gold in real life.
Carl soon encounters the first patrol, all heavily armed gangster thugs. They are now more like guards on Sanban Street than they were before. The disappearance of the garbage barrier has put them on alert, and no matter what, they will now be a nuisance in the way. And it's ironic that Carl's goal is to use these pistols that would rather hold sticks than make them feel awkward.
Launching an attack is undoubtedly telling the enemy that an outsider is invading, but this is a game, a game of hunting. Both sides have the potential to be hunters, or prey to be hunted. So Karl suddenly flashed out from behind the street lamp at the intersection, and the revolver in his hand flashed a glimmer of blindness. The muzzle of the black hole pointed directly into the heads of the two thugs who were walking in the front, and the guys hadn't even reacted yet.
After two gunshots, the two thugs in the front row had an extra blood hole in their heads. After reacting, the guy in the back did not take out the pistol on his waist for the first time, but brandished a wooden stick and rushed towards Carl. It's the type of fight they're good at, the same street brawls they've ever had. But Carl smiled disdainfully, this is not a simple fight between the thugs on the street, this is a game of death.
They were simply live targets, and Carl didn't have to move, he didn't have to aim, he just had to simply pull the trigger. The first round of bullets wiped out the entire patrol, and Carl was bored enough to yawn. Although he easily eliminated a patrol, he still had to face a lot of enemies. So he quickly left where he was, heading for the next block.
Nils had already jumped over several rooftops, stopping for a moment on the roof of a house that was slightly higher than the others. Carl's gunshot undoubtedly gave everyone in the town, whether enemies or companions, a command to start the game. Nils has been waiting for this moment for a long time, and he can now use a heavy sniper rifle to give a big gift to the guys at Kahlert. However, he will need to endure for a while before he can find the best sniper spot.
Carl knew that he was just a decoy in the operation, but the bait was not meant to attract the bastard of Smock, but to attract the attention of the entire Sanban Street thug, so Carl knew that he needed to make a bigger noise. Eliminating a few patrols would only attract some of the thugs to him, and he would need to make some explosions like a warhammer.
He wouldn't do anything like Warhammer, though, he just wanted to tease the incapable thugs. Although they accepted Khalert's jurisdiction, the habits of the years were difficult to change in a short period of time. So Carl, in order to save bullets, he skillfully shuttled between the mobs, pulling out his pistol from their holsters and feeding bullets into their own heads. Honestly, the roaming gunners all thought this kind of combat was boring. But as boring as it was, it was a great opportunity for them to put on a gorgeous show.
As the last guy was kicked off by Carl's physical technique, there were already a dozen mob corpses lying next to him. He hoped that more interesting guys would appear, and in this case, his wish soon came true. The guy in an ill-fitting white suit with several mirrors on his clothes appeared from the corner with a whole group of thugs.
The guy actually knew etiquette, and before he made a move, he was a little frivolous and hoped that Karl would call himself Sichev of the Mirror. But Carl didn't care about that, as long as the guy could get himself a little bit of movement. He's just a little leader of the mob after all, that's not his ultimate goal. Despite this view, Carl did not underestimate the enemy, because the mirrors hanging on his suit were not decorations, and he might play a trick.
The thugs were still the same, swarmed with sticks instead of pistols. But Karl only wanted to go head-to-head with Sichev one-on-one, as is often the case in the Impossible Zone. So he picked up the two pistols that the thugs had dropped earlier, adjusted them to fully automatic fire mode, and in an instant poured out all the bullets in the magazine, ending the lives of all the swarming thugs. Sichev, on the other hand, raised his head without any fear, and his actions couldn't help but make Karl smile with interest.
Karl lifted his revolver and pressed his index finger against the trigger. Just before the shots rang out, Sichev had already taken the lead. But in fact, Karl deliberately did not pull the trigger, and he was testing Sichev's ability. If those mirrors are a real threat, it would be unwise to shoot them. Sichev took a strange step, then raised the stick in his hand, and then the whole person instantly soared, swinging the stick and smashing it towards the top of Karl's head.
This attack was not threatening, and Karl easily dodged Sicev's attack. What he didn't expect, however, was that when he turned around, a strong reflection almost made him unable to open his eyes. Karl realized that Sichev's mirror was starting to work, and he couldn't help but feel a little ridiculous, it turned out that the guy was just a villain who liked to play tricks.
Karl simply closed his eyes and held the ground with one hand, waiting for the moment when Sichev attacked. When Sichev repeated his old trick and raised his long stick to attack Karl, there was no suspense about the outcome of the battle. Karl used a force in his hand to make his whole body leap like a spring, and Sichev's attack was in the air, and Karl quickly adjusted his body in mid-air, and slammed his knee into Sichev's chest hard.
He heard the horrible sound of his ribs being crushed, and Sichev let out a scream, the long stick in his hand falling to the ground with pain. Karl straightened up, put one foot on Sychev's chest, and pressed the muzzle of the revolver against the guy's head. "Farewell, Sichev of the Mirror. With that, he pulled the trigger.
