62. Distant action
Broken Isles, Val Sarah.
The twelfth day of Other's departure from Azeroth.
Malfurion was already overwhelmed with various things.
In half a month, the anti-demon coalition army that marched into the Dark Night Fortress of Sulama will set off, and he has to complete all aspects of supply problems, and he also has to appease the dissatisfaction of Illidare below.
Illidare, without Othur, was very chaotic, not only against the Demon-Resistant Alliance, but also against the Burning Legion.
The Anti-Demon Coalition was unable to command this group of demon hunters who hated the Burning Legion to the core, but when Othur disappeared, these demon hunters shouted all day long to go out to kill demons, ruining many of the original plans of the Anti-Demon Alliance.
And the Burning Legion is helpless against this powerful group of battle maniacs.
Although the Illidares lost their leader, their military operations were still orderly and independent of the anti-demon coalition, and they methodically launched one attack after another against the Burning Legion, and reaped many successes.
Malfurion had tried to tell them that Oser was not dead, but Illidare's reply to him was a bit unforgiving.
"Wake up, Grand Druid, you are the brother of your masters, and we do not want you to die in your dreams like Ysera. β
Nor did any Illidare messenger come to Valsara, and Malfurion was left alone to observe Osser's whereabouts.
He wanted to share his joy with Tyrande and the druids below, but he was reluctant to see them busy. After thinking about it, when Khadgar brought Orshur back, it would be a surprise for the Night Elves and Illidare.
But eight days have passed, and Khadgar still hasn't returned from Dalaran.
As night fell, Malfurion once again took care of the day's business.
He walked to the well of the moon where Ulter's Life Stone was placed, picked up the arcane crystal that was responsible for the projection, and held his chin up.
It's one of his only entertainments.
But what happened? What about the girl with short gray hair around him? What about the crow?
Malfurion was a little confused.
He can't keep an eye on Orshur all the time, he has more important things to do, and he can't delay the affairs of the anti-demon coalition because of his own personal feelings.
Just recently, he had only seen Orser and Sylvie flying over the endless waters of Nila.
What happened? When did Oter change partners so diligently?
No, Malfurion thinks that the first thing he thinks is when Osser will solve the problem of frigidity.
The Holy Light Pegasi under their crotch flapped their wings of light and moved forward at high speed, then they flew into a city, found the portal inside, and disappeared into the light.
Again, there was a dim forest underneath.
Where is this going? Malfurion had no idea what Orser was going to do.
Looks like a matter of urgency, as evidenced by the speed of their mounts underneath.
But according to what Malfurion knew about Othur, Othur was too lazy to do anything that had nothing to do with him.
Orser was like that, he seemed indifferent to anything, as if nothing but demons could force him to waver in his heart.
But Malfurion knew that Orser was still kind at heart, that he still had a crush on natural creatures, and that he might be willing to help them sometimes.
But what happened......
Through the arcane barrier that covered her face, Malfurion saw Otser's somewhat ugly expression, and the female knight next to her looked calm.
Malfurion couldn't help but worry about Osser.
In this way, Malfurion scratched his head and rolled around in the meeting room, accidentally triggering his quail form.
"Sorry...... Grand Druid...... Came here without your consent. The magnetic male voice looked a little embarrassed, as if he thought he had seen something he shouldn't have seen.
Malfurion, in quail form, turned around and excitedly hugged the man with sea-blue hair.
"You're finally here, guardian dragon, Khadgar?" Marfurion looked at the people behind Karegos, but found no sign of the archmage.
"Uh...... He was deploying the battle plan of the anti-demon coalition and was not able to come here, and ...... I'm no longer a guardian dragon. Karegos looked a little embarrassed, he was almost out of breath as he was hugged by Malfurion in quail form.
"I'm sorry, Karegos, but you seem to be in good spirits. Sensing Cargos' embarrassment, Malfurion let go of the wings that held him and returned to his elven form.
"Not bad," the humanoid Klegos nodded, gesturing to the four Blood Elven mages behind him, "they're here to help Orser return to Azeroth, and when Ulter returns, I think Illidare will soon restore order." β
Malfurion nodded to the four Blood Elven mages in a gesture of welcome.
He felt a surge of magical energy from the bodies of the four mages.
The Blood Elves bowed and paid their respects to the Grand Druid.
"Without further ado, let's get started. β
Karegos twisted his neck, and blue magical energy poured into the moon well, causing the four blood elf mages to be slightly pushed away by the massive magic fluctuations, and then lilac arcane energy appeared on their hands and filled the moon well.
"You are truly the King of Magic, and Mamargos will be proud of you. Malfurion nodded approvingly.
"Sorry...... I don't think I'm worthy of the title of King of Magic, and perhaps it would be more appropriate for my father before he fell into madness. Karegos shook his head, increasing the infusion of magical energy.
"I sincerely regret your father's affairs. β
"I'm also very sad, but we still need a lot of time now," Carregos interrupted Malfurion's thoughts to continue, "Dear Great Druid, we need more Moon Well water to open the passage to another world, and the process may be a bit long, after all, that world is too far away from us. β
Sure enough, the water from the well of the moon well was slowly evaporating, and along with the magical energy, a twisted vortex was formedβthe mages were chiseling through the spatial barrier, moving very slowly.
"We have to take our time, or we'll get the attention of the Burning Legion. β
"I can hold out until the passage is made, but they'll have some difficulty," Karegos said, "and they'll need extra mana potions. β
Malfurion nodded, ready to leave for the warehouse and get some mana potions himself.
"Wait, Guardian...... How long will it take for us to take Karegos?" said Malfurion, asking a crucial question before leaving.
"I don't know," Karegos shook his head, "it's like a well of water, and it's pitch black underneath, and we'll only know when we'll be able to get good if we're infused with enough magical energy." β
"But I don't think it will be too long. Karegos added.
"So, once again, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks. Malfurion took the form of an eagle, nodded to the five mages, and rose into the air.
