Chapter 511: The First Victory on the Snow Mountain
Like a fighter in an amphitheater, Icetooth Shavant moved and stared at his prey with a ferocious gaze - Uma on the other side thought it was terrible, and the beast's worst thing to deal with was its agility. Whenever he thinks he's going to attack it, he dodges it with unexpected speed and tries to slap your head into a patty with its sharp claws.
Its bared teeth reminded Uma of the vicious dog that used to roam outside the gates of the West Coast School of Magic, and no less than five magic apprentices had been bitten by the beast out of curiosity. Uma didn't know why this memory came to his mind, but subconsciously, he saw Icetooth Savant as a vicious dog outside the gates of the Academy of Magic. They all have one thing in common – they're just as annoying.
Shavant let out a long howl, which made Uma subconsciously want to plug his ears with his fingers, it was as noisy as the Bantu people. The roar was followed by a dash attack, and the beast seemed to be able to flatten everything in its path, and Uma dodged a teleportation to dodge the unlikely rush attack, then condensed an ice bow and fired several rapid ice arrows at Shavant.
The crisp sound of the ice crystal explosion resounded on Shavant's fur, but it didn't take any damage, except for proof that Uma's attack had hit Shavant. Now Uma had to wonder if Ruug had fed the beast some magical food or drink unique to the snowy regions of the North—such as some kind of concocted liquor, the favorite of their barbarians.
But whether or not Ruug fed it something, it didn't change that its owner had fallen into the most disadvantageous situation when facing Mirna. Once again, he was repelled by the curtain of flames released by Mirna, and found that the area he could move around was only the size of a full tapestry. The ground not far in front of him had formed an elemental area due to Mirna's various attacks, whether it was the scorching flames or the deep darkness that could swallow people, Ruug did not dare to approach easily.
Milna condensed a white light in her hands, and looked at Ruug who was forced to retreat into the corner with a provocative expression. This expression is tantamount to a provocation, and it can also represent the mood of Milna all along. She didn't like this place, it always was. Bantu people don't like to be provoked, and they tend to let provocateurs know that it was a big mistake to provoke Bantu, and their actions prove that they are right all the time.
Ruug struck in a face-to-face stance that looked ridiculous to Mirna's eyes, and she instantly thought of many ways to humiliate Ruug, but it didn't make much sense, defeating him and getting his token to prove to Orka was the most important thing at the moment. So she gathered the magic in her hand to a point and threw it at Ruug.
That's the moment the guy had been waiting for, and when Mirna made a move, Ruug acted at the same time. He half-bowed, then kicked the snow from the ground with his left foot - the splashes not only temporarily confused Mirna's vision, but also interfered with the magic of the flight, causing it to deviate from its intended orbit.
A perfect opportunity for a surprise attack was presented in front of Ruug, and he certainly wouldn't let it go. With a deft low-sliding step, Ruug closed the distance to Mirna in a split second, followed by a swift straight punch. Mirna didn't have time to dodge and ate the straight punch hard in the abdomen, but it was only a prelude to the so-called Bantu's dazzling fist attack. A second quick straight punch followed, slamming into Mirna's chest. God, she almost felt like she couldn't breathe, and no one better not underestimate the power of their fists.
Ruug landed a third strike, a powerful uppercut, but Mirna didn't want her face to morph, so she resisted the pain and swung a light eel to stop it. But Ruug immediately changed his posture, and his other hand clenched into a fist and slammed into Mirna's abdomen again, and the blow completely knocked Mirna away.
Mirna lay in the cold snow, coughing, every breath now accompanied by a heart-rending pain. If it weren't for the fact that she didn't hear some kind of crisp sound, she would have even thought that the ribs in her chest were broken. Ruug's attacks don't stop there, it's a great opportunity, and what the Bantu do best is to take advantage of fleeting opportunities in the middle of a fight. He immediately leapt to his feet and smashed his entire body into a cannonball into Mirna's head.
Lying on the ground, Mirna rolled and picked up the wand that had fallen to the side, and by this time Ruug's shadow had completely covered Mirna's body. Without thinking about it, the latter immediately raised his wand to prop up the ice wall, and this time Ruug didn't have time to contain his attack, and slammed his fist into the hard ice wall. The power of their fists was truly terrifying, as cracks of varying sizes had already appeared in the impact on the ice wall. But it was too late, and Mirna immediately freed the magic within the ice walls and turned defenses into counterattacks.
The elemental explosion at zero distance was terrifying, and the aura of ice magic invaded Ruug's body like a greedy parasite almost at the moment of the explosion. So, just as Uma faced Rabina, Ruug's body developed a noticeable discomfort under the invasion of magical power. The balance of battle often tilts in a simple move, and although Ruug is well aware of this, he cannot guarantee that he is capable enough to deal with all kinds of sudden turning points.
When Mirna got up from the ground, it meant that there was no suspense in the battle, and although the painful expression on her face could not fade away, it did not mean that she did not have the magic left to deliver the final blow to Ruug. Even she herself didn't expect to end the battle with the magic of the ice elemental, and when the ice magic array of the Polar Ice Feast spawned at Ruug's feet, she was still wondering if she should let Mr. Jack bake this guy into black coal.
Ruug's figure disappeared into the huge ice blades that kept coming out of the magic circle, he didn't shout, and he still maintained his dignity as a Bantu warrior until the moment of defeat. When the last blade disappeared, Mirna saw Ruug, covered in wounds and still standing in place. He didn't fall, but his head hung low, and his hands hung limply at his sides.
But the illusion on the surface usually doesn't last long, and no matter how powerful he is, he is still human after all. So after more than ten seconds, he fell heavily on the snow. Mirna hurriedly rushed forward to pull out the alchemy potion, and at that time she felt as strange as when Uma defeated Rabina, she had never experienced the process of treating an enemy with her own hands after defeating it, which was a little unbelievable.
Ruug raised his bloody left hand and tried to stop Mirna, who angrily yelled at him. "Enough! I'm fed up with this goddamn place, and now there's a stupid bastard who refuses treatment!" she let out all her frustration through yelling. Not far away, Uma turned her head to look at Mirna, who was venting her dissatisfaction with one foot on the dying Icetooth Shavante.
