Chapter 548: The Crazy Magician

The sorceress who suddenly appeared was undoubtedly an enemy, and a mentally unhealthy one. This was evident in Schultz's first head-to-head encounter with the guy, with a crazy smile on her face but the ability to wield her staff as she pleased. Every move proved that she had worked hard to learn the fighting skills of a battle mage, and if it weren't for luck, Schultz would have died once.

Maffeo noticed the situation on Schultz's side from the gap between the battles with the spiders, and when he saw Schultz fighting a strange magician, he had to abandon the enemy in front of him and go to Schultz's aid, because he knew that this was not an enemy that Schultz could deal with. But the spiders in front of him didn't go his way, and just as Maffeo was about to take a step, they spat out a lethal foam from their mouths to stop Maffeo.

"Tell me, why are you attacking me?" Schultz unleashed an inaccurate sword, which was easily dodged by the other party. The magician did not answer Schultz's question, she only let out a series of crazy laughs. He then raised his staff and swung a ferocious blow at Schultz, who hurriedly raised his sword to block, but did not hold on for even a second. When the staff struck the sword, Schultz's whole body flew out again.

Mirna and Uma hurriedly bypassed the battle and tried to reach the other side where Schultz was located. But the constant harassment of spiders slowed the two of them down considerably, and when they had eliminated the first spiders that were in their way, the indomitable Schultz once again stood up and pounced on the mad magician.

If Maffeo or Mirna were to tell Schultz what was wrong in this battle, then they would have said that Schultz's mistake was that he had started a fight with the magician, and that he should have turned and fled from the beginning. The young Schultz was not very experienced, which is why he often suffered. But this time, his youth may allow him to bury himself with his own hands. In order to prevent this from happening, several people had to do their best to save him.

Freya farther away, unaware of what was happening, noticed that Maffeo and the two magicians were desperately approaching the other side of the battle. So she looked a little further away, and then she saw Schultz, who had been swept to the chest by a staff from a strange magician, and fell to the ground. After that, she understood what had happened. She knows Schultz's character, and he does seem to be a guy who will challenge the other party even if he knows that his strength is not as good as the other party.

Schultz scrambled to his feet and rolled to the side before the magician's next attack, trying to dodge the ensuing attack. Although he succeeded, he clearly felt a little powerless. The other party is neither willing to answer his own questions, nor will he give himself a chance to use his ideas, although the gap in strength has a clear determination in Schultz's heart. But his character made him not give up the fight, but chose to keep fighting.

He stood up, focused his attention, half-crouched, and gripped the hilt of the sword with his backhand, his eyes locked on the other's body. A second later, just as the magician had just made a move, Schultz swung his sword like a raptor and pounced. In just an instant, he moved forward ten meters away, and the sword qi that manifested the dragon's head roared in front of him. The sword flashed swiftly past the magician's body, and then Schultz instantly turned around in a posture that was difficult for ordinary people to do, and once again held the hilt of the sword with his backhand, and slashed at the magician with a second blow.

Schultz felt himself pass through the mage's body and his sword hit the other man. Just as he was about to turn around and deliver a third blow at the other party, he suddenly felt the temperature around him rise suddenly. Then a strong pressure gradually came from under his feet, as if some kind of force would burst out from the ground in the next moment. Realizing that something was wrong, Schultz immediately slashed out a hasty third blow, and at the moment of movement, a pillar of fire erupted from the ground. Despite the move, the pillar of fire grazed Schultz's back, and the attack slowed down in the moment of pain.

This gave the magician plenty of opportunities to fight back against Schultz, and while the two cuts in her magic robe proved that Schultz's previous attack had indeed hit her, it was fine for her. The magician's counterattack was brutal, and the staff slashed head-on Schultz head-on without mercy. This completely stunned Scholz's whole person, he stepped back unsteadily, and then fell to the ground.

Schultz's head was blank after being hit by the staff, and he felt as if someone had detonated a dozen bombs next to his ear. For a short time he could no longer make any movements, just knelt weakly in place, and now he was just a lamb to the slaughter.

The magician's movements were fast, and the staff in her hand was as fast as lightning. When Schultz regained consciousness, the other party's staff was already close at hand. Although it was unlikely that he could withstand this attack, Schultz quickly held his sword in front of him. Schultz was shocked like never before when the staff struck his sword and rattled it. But there's no time to be surprised. The sorceress launched an additional attack, and Schultz had to bend and spin to dodge. He was suddenly afraid to use his sword to block, because although he had not been knocked away in the impact just now, the long sword in his hand showed signs of breaking.

He found himself in a counter-attacking position four times next, and four times he launched a counterattack in a close-quarters grappling - aiming his sword at the sorceress's head, neck, arms, and abdomen, but each counterattack was blocked by the opponent with a staff. He didn't see another blow from the magician to his body, the impact sending him flying to the ice wall behind him.

Schultz bounced off the wall, but there was no way to jump to the side or dodge, and the blow barely left him breathing. The magician's staff followed, and he took a second blow, slamming into the ice wall again, this time with the blood that fell from his mouth. Schultz was still trying his best to get up, but he felt that his strength was rapidly draining.

He knew he was covered in flaws now, so the magician swung his staff across his chest. Schultz clumsily tried to defend himself with his sword, and he stuck the blade in the gap between the frozen stones in front of him, trying to hold the blade in place to fend off the sweeping attack. With that blow, although Schultz blocked the attack, the sword broke with a sharp, trembling wail.

It was his most important thing, the weapon Elias had given him, and he had thought of many fates for the sword, but he never imagined that this incomparably precious longsword would end its fate in this way—in a defenseless and humiliating way. But the mad magician soon delivered the final blow, and Schultz, who had lost his weapon, could only raise his right hand and pin his hope on the iron armguard.

His arm slammed into it, and the shattered arm guard fell to the ice with the sound of bones breaking. Schultz's right hand drooped limply, but in his rage, he raised his still movable left hand and aimed it at the throat of the mad magician, and threw a punch of insufficient strength. He actually managed to hit the opponent in the throat, causing the opponent to stop the stormy attack because of the temporary pain.

Everything that followed seemed to be out of suspense, and Schultz fell to the ground completely, never having any ability to fight back. In the moments leading up to his consciousness, he kept his eyes on the broken sword stuck in the stone, losing his most precious thing because of his recklessness. It doesn't cost a lot of money to craft an ordinary longsword, but this broken longsword means more to him than ordinary longswords sold in blacksmith shops.

After the mad magician had recovered, it was time for her to strike the decisive blow. Facing Schultz, who had fallen to the ground and had passed out, she only needed an easy attack to send the other party to the gods. She took a step, raised her staff, and delivered a real final blow to Schultz, who had fallen to the ground.
