Section 4 Physicians' Troubles
Rex was not a professional physician after all, and a simple bandaging would not heal Isodall's wounds. Pen ~ fun ~ Pavilion www.biquge.info the next day, she began to have a fever. Lying on a stretcher, she often fell into a coma, and all three of them felt helpless about it.
After some deliberation, Rex decided to find a physician to treat Issodar. Barbas and Cataria stayed behind to take care of her, and the cabin was an abandoned building, dilapidated and ineffective. Therefore, it was necessary to leave Barbas to protect Isodal.
The next day, Rex said goodbye to them and set off alone. He walked eastward, into a river valley, completely away from the city of thorns, the capital of the country, avoiding the troubles of the tiger guards. He traveled to a remote mountainous area and found a village called Shishu. He received good news from the farmer, who told him that there was an old doctor living in the western side of Stone Tree Village, and that she could help Rex.
Rex was overjoyed and immediately went to the West End on the other side of the river to find the old doctor's home. In that lonely grove, he found a wooden house. The roof was covered with dark green moss, and the moss grew like spikes rising into the sky.
In front of the hut was a vegetable garden, a fence made of bamboo poles ten feet high, which protected the garden, leaving only a small exit to the hut. The vegetable garden is full of cabbage with curly cores. A rooster paced quietly in the garden, and when he saw someone approaching, he crowed in panic a few times, waved his wings and ran away.
"Who's where?" a woman's voice came from inside the cabin. Then the woman came out of the house, stood in the doorway, and asked, "Who are you? Why are you here?"
Rex saw that she was wearing a tight red cloth robe, with a gray cloak, a gold ribbon tied around her waist, and a bow facing forward. Underneath the cloak was an old face, covered by fluff and spots, but the wrinkles at the corners of her mouth and her loose skin still showed that she was no longer young. Interestingly, her voice was still sweet, and it was extremely incommensurate with her old appearance.
"Excuse me, is this Dr. Vivien's home?" asked Rex.
She was amazed and asked, "What are you looking for her?"
Rex smiled and said, "My name is Septdin? Rex, and I have a friend who has been seriously injured and needs treatment. I heard that there was a physician here, so I came, hoping to get her help. ”
"You're late, she's no longer a doctor!" said the woman.
"Why, what do you mean by that?" asked Rex.
The woman took off her cloak, revealing a tigerman's catly face and velvet ears. She turned and sat down in the wooden chair in the doorway.
"I am the physician Vivien," she said, "and a year ago, I lost my potion gem, and now I can no longer work to refine the potion of healing." This incident bothered me a lot. ”
"I see, let's make a deal!" Rex said.
"What do you mean by trading?" asked Vivien curiously.
"If I can help you recover the potion gem, you'll have to save my friend until she recovers, how about that?"
Vivien thought for a moment and said, "The deal is fair, I accept it." ”
"Very well," Rex excited, "tell me about your gem, how did it get lost?"
"Sit down first," said the doctor, "I'll get you a drink." ”
She got up and stepped out of her chair and into the cabin. Rex walked over and sat down in the chair, waiting quietly, he held his breath and listened to the noise in the room. A few minutes later, Vivien walked out happily with a bottle of wine in one hand and two glasses in the other, muttering to herself, "It feels good to have someone visit!"
She poured a full glass of wine and handed it to Rex, poured herself another glass, and finally sat down across from Rex.
"Can you tell me how you lost your gem?"
"It's not lost!" she suddenly emphasized, "It was stolen by an elf thief!"
"Okay, can you tell me about the theft? I can think of a way to help you!"
"Don't worry, young man. Have a glass of wine first, come, drink it!" said the doctor.
Rex was anxious and helpless, "After I drank it, you started talking about your treasure, okay?"
"I promise, as long as you drink it all!" the doctor said with a smile.
Rex picked up his glass and drank it in one gulp. With a long sigh of relief, he said, "Now it's time to start!"
The doctor smiled with satisfaction, and she began to recount the theft of the potion gem.
One summer night a year ago, when darkness reigned throughout the mountains and everyone was lying in bed preparing to sleep, a sneaky dark shadow sneaked into the village of Stone Tree. Under the cover of the moonlight, he first rushed into a peasant's house, where he had gained nothing from the poor man's house, and finally quietly left with a sense of loss. He continued to invade other people's homes, still achieving nothing. Three adventures left him empty-handed, and his mood was extremely depressed.
So, he gave up the idea of stealing and decided to leave Shishu Village. When he walked to the woods on the other side of the river, he stumbled upon the doctor's cabin. The reluctant thief decided to take another gamble and try his luck. So, he soon infiltrated the doctor's home.
The thief's expertise and stealth helped him a lot, allowing him to quietly move back and forth around Vivien's bedside without waking the person in his sleep. Unfortunately, this time he rummaged through the wardrobe and treasure chests, and still couldn't find anything of value. He finally resigned himself to his fate, knowing that nothing would be gained here. With a feeling of great loss, he decided to leave the wooden house and leave the poor village.
He came out of the doctor's bedroom, and when he passed the door of the laboratory, a green crystal ball with a strange light attracted his attention, and he stopped, stood in place and looked carefully, and finally saw the crystal ball clearly, which turned out to be a fist-sized gem.
The gem was set in a half-crouched demonic god, and in the dark night, it was like a pearl, shining beautifully all over its body, illuminating the entire laboratory. The thief was overjoyed, he knew very well how expensive the gem was. If he can have it, then he will have a wealth that he will not use up for the rest of his life.
The thief walked quickly into the laboratory and came to the potion gem. He grabbed the gem with both hands and broke it with all his might, hoping to break it off the gods. However, his previous experience was not suitable for the current rare treasure, and it took him a long time and effort to make it loosen even a little. The gem was as steady as Mount Tai, still exuding a charming light, but at the moment, this light was like a mockery and sarcasm, a merciless mockery of his incompetence.
The thief was anxious and frightened, and he had to get his hands on the gem as soon as possible. The thief knows very well that the longer he stays, the more dangerous his situation becomes. Therefore, he tried to dig up the gem with a dagger, but he failed. The thief was furious, and the desire for the gem tormented his every nerve. Finally, after the last attempt failed, he fell into complete madness, raised his great sword and slashed at Shenxi, and actually succeeded in shattering Shenxi, and the gem fell to the ground.
The physician who heard the noise woke up from her dream and shouted "Who's where?" at the same time, she quickly rushed out of her bedroom and went straight to her lab. When she reached the door, she collided head-on with the thief who was fleeing from the inside in a panic, and she was knocked to the ground, and it took a long time for her to sit up. Seeing the glowing green gem fall on the ground not far in front of her, she exclaimed, "My potion gem!"
Seeing this, the thief reacted very quickly, picked up the gem on the ground, slammed the door open, and fled frantically towards the forest.
The doctor also got up from the ground and chased after him. She followed the thief and unleashed a storm of ice at him, but the distance was so far away that she was dodged by the sophisticated thief.
They chased each other in the moonlit forest, each with only one purpose. The thief wanted to ask the doctor who was chasing him, and the doctor wanted to recover his gem. They stick to their goals, and none of them want to give up.
While escaping, the thieves discovered a cave. Without hesitation, he rushed in, and the physician Vivien chased after him, seeing the thief enter the cave. After looking around to make sure she didn't find the dreaded Dryads or beasts, she followed her into the cavern.
The cave was damp and dark, with no light coming in. Vivien lit a torch to illuminate the road around her more clearly before moving on. At the same time, she found the thief's footprints on the ground, and she carefully followed the footprints left by the thief and walked inside. It wasn't long before she noticed a strange change in the cave, and the walls around it were covered with gray cobwebs.
Cobwebs of all sizes covered all the walls, and Vivien realized that they had broken into the territory of Fang, a cave that was their hunting ground. Fangs are a venomous spider in the Skyrim Mountains, an evil and venomous creature in its own right. Their most common method is web hunting, using glued cobwebs to control and kill any stupid people who strayed into the webs.
As a physician, Vivien knew their danger very well, and as such, she never wanted to meet these creatures. Now that she has strayed into the territory, she is in a dilemma. As a physician, if she loses her Elixir Gem, her healing methods will be ineffective, and she will not be able to cure anyone. But if she continues to pursue her, she may immediately become food for fangs and die in the cave.
As she was in a dilemma, unable to make a decision, suddenly from the front of the cave came a miserable howl! It's like listening to a crappy piano in a tavern. She knew that the thief had finally met the ruthless killer, and he was going to die here.
