Chapter 34: The Crisis (1)

Kendall walked into the palace angrily and shouted, "What's the matter, why are you old lady doing so much?"

The Queen Mother said angrily: "There is not only an old lady here, but also a little girl!"

Kendall then saw his daughter Saiya standing in front of the window with her hands on her chest, looking out of the window. He was stunned and muttered: "I hope you are looking for me, not for any trivial matter! The army is gathering in the square at this moment, and Lao Tzu will immediately lead the team to the battle!"

"The letter from the north is on the table, you can read it yourself!" the Queen Mother walked up to her daughter and began to comfort her in a low voice.

Kendall's black face darkened the more he looked at it, and the last punch slammed down on the table: "Fuck, that damn Beetle actually killed my brother Leo?"

"I didn't expect you to have affection for you, your half-brother! I thought you were hard-hearted!" the Queen Mother pouted.

"Of course, he has almost the same blood in his veins as mine! he is a respectable man, at least he has never threatened my authority!"

"If you had shown him a little more kindness, he wouldn't have fought against the army of the undead with just farmers and vendors!"

"Is it still useful to say this? The city of Stone Weir has now fallen!" Kendall shook his head and said, "Damn, the spring offensive against the demon army is about to begin, and I can't stop the whole project because of such a letter!"

"Then what do you say, let the army of the undead swarm from the north?"

"I can only clench my fists and hit the enemy in one direction, as for the north, then rely on your son-in-law Alexander to use the second line of defense to stop the army of the undead!"

"Oh my God, don't say you don't send another soldier to reinforce the north! Don't forget, your other daughter and son-in-law are there too! You have already sacrificed the happiness of one daughter, do you want to sacrifice another one?"

"What nonsense are you talking about?!" Kendall was furious: "If it weren't for that stupid Chosen One, he would have been in such a predicament? As for Alexander, he is a glorious knight, and the duty of a knight is to fight!"

"How many soldiers does Alexander have, and is his castle as strong as the city of stone weirs?"

"Don't forget, the Dwarven King Yoland, the Witch King Merlind, and the Savage Lords York and Kenno have all personally led troops to reinforce the north!" Kendal suddenly laughed: "If one of them happens to be killed by the Beetle, then there will be a good show! Eli, Tytalia, Baildes and Krurod, these places will definitely send out an army to find the undead to take revenge, then they will have a good life!"

"Kendall, you are despicable!" the Queen Mother scolded indignantly.

"I'm just saying what I want most!" said Kendall, stretching his legs on the table, longingly, "Let's see what that Beetle is capable of, and hope he lives up to his name as the Judge of Death!"

"Can you call him a beetle on the left and a beetle on the right, he is the son-in-law you racked your brains to snatch!" the Queen Mother looked at Saiya worriedly.

Seya turned to face Kendall.

Her face was calm and seemed to be unfazed. Kendall was embarrassed.

"Father, do you say that your spring offensive can completely defeat Fiona's demon army?"

"At least hard!"

"Well, I'll give you a month to complete the spring offensive, and then the army will immediately move north to completely remove the threat from the north!"

"A month?" Kendall began to ponder.

"It's a twenty-day journey from here to the north, and if Count Alexander and our allies can stop the army of the undead going south for ten days, then we have a month, or the army of the undead will descend on Standwick!"

"The most crucial thing to successfully implement this plan is to look at our east, where Catherine and Prince Roland hold the Dia border, if they are defeated by Sandru and run in to disrupt the situation, then the whole plan will be in vain!"

"Father, can you not find an objective reason? you just need to complete your task!"

"Okay! I'm determined to get the job done!" Kendall stood up, put his legs together, and made a knightly salute to his daughter Saiya, shouting, "Courage and honor!"

Countless knights had saluted Queen Saiya as a knight, but Kendall's behavior frightened her.

Looking at Kendall staggering away, the Queen Mother sighed and said, "Alas, may the gods bless Catherine, I hope she can successfully defend the eastern border of Erathia!"

"Mother, do you remember the one that Gu Zi and the High Priest made up for them, and if there is a danger on the eastern border, I want to transport those things over!"

"Those things have not yet been tested in actual combat, and they are still only in the experimental stage!" The Queen Mother said worriedly: "Are they really that powerful?"

"I have to send someone to find out about my sister's situation!" said Saya muttering, "There's a lot of pressure on her side right now!"

"Write a letter! She's got a military order, and if she doesn't complete her mission, your father will definitely trouble her!"

Dia border.

Catherine was reading a distant letter in the big tent. There are quite a few people in the whole of Erathia who are willing to pledge their allegiance to her, perhaps because of the light of her father, Geffenhardt, and because of this, her source of information is as fast and reliable as that of her sister Queen Saiya.

She was once the heir to the throne in the eyes of the people of Erathia, and in order to prevent the civil war in Erathia, and in order for everyone to defeat the powerful invaders with hatred, she resolutely gave up this honor, and even gave up her lover, although he still appeared in her sleep from time to time!

"Oh my God, do you know what you've done?!" Catherine groaned with her head in her hands.

The door to the tent was lifted, and her husband, Roland, and his assistant Inheim walked in as they spoke. He immediately saw that Catherine's face was very pale.

"What's wrong?" Roland asked.

"This is a secret message from the north from ravens...... Look at it, things are terrible!" said Catherine, handing the letter to Roland.

"Oh my God, is it possible that the city of Stone Weir has also been captured by the army of the undead?" Roland cried out in surprise, and Inheim immediately leaned in.

"Things are going faster than we thought they would!"

"The pressure in the north is greater than ours!" Catherine said worriedly, looking at the spring outside the tent, "Blellerion of Death has nine legions over there, and we only have four here!"

"Catherine, there's a reason why Bellerion sent troops like this! Sandru is so powerful, his Curse Armor and Ghost King's cloak allowed him to resurrect tens of thousands of Corpse Witch Kings from the pile of bones, and now his total number of legions is at least nine! I don't think we have less pressure than the North!"

"But there is a grain in the north! he has defeated many famous heroes on the island of holy light!"

"He's no longer called Millet, he's called Thoth the Death Judge!" Roland corrected.

There was a brief silence in the tent.

Inheim felt embarrassed. He bowed, then withdrew.

"I thought you had forgotten about him!" Roland sighed.

"I'm sorry, Roland, I'm your wife, you married me when I didn't have face, and I'll always remember and thank you...... But you have to understand that the past is not something that can be forgotten, I can only say as much as possible......"

"Let's not talk about him!" Roland coughed and walked to the battle map, "Let's talk about our current form!

"What the hell does he want to do?" Catherine said strangely, "why didn't he take advantage of the victory?

"Who knows, maybe he's trying to turn all of my castle into a city of the dead!" Roland said with a wry smile.

"He is a shrewd strategist, and he should not be obsessed with local interests and have no concept of the overall situation! He will not make such a low-level mistake! If it were me, he would also not leave any respite for the enemy!

"My scout reported that he hadn't seen him in the sky riding a ghost dragon in the sky for many days!"

"It's unusual!" Catherine walked around the tent, "we have to find out what he's up to, if he's plotting something bigger!"

"That's fine, as long as he doesn't come to attack us with all his might, we can ensure that the defensive line is solid, and the spring offensive of the 1st and 2nd Corps can proceed as scheduled!"

"Roland, don't you think we should poke Sandru, maybe we'll be able to figure out where he is, what plot is brewing!"

"Oh my God, Catherine, you have the audacity! He didn't provoke you, but you attacked him? What if he was hurt and pounced on him? Our 30,000-odd soldiers would be wiped out by him!" Roland cried out in surprise: "You must be crazy, I must stop you from doing this!"

"I'm just fed up waiting!" said Catherine, "we're suspicious here, and he's calmly preparing!

"Alas, alas, you let me think about it......"

Catherine walked up and down the tent, glancing at Roland with her fingers twisted in thought.

"Oh, haven't you thought about it yet?" Catherine finally couldn't help it.

"Ahh

"Why don't we poke Sandru a little first, it won't hurt him!" Catherine crouched down, staring expectantly at Roland.

"Oh, I really can't do anything about you!" Roland shook his head and sighed: "Okay, I'll take a cavalry brigade to sneak attack Sandru, I hope he won't be swayed by this!"
