The warriors of Hu'an Mountain, after what they considered to be a leisurely march, arrived at Jiangzhou, the capital of Pakistan. Pen "Fun" Pavilion www.biquge.info
Jiangzhou City is a typical mountain city, from low to high, with low houses in rows one after another. However, from the angle they were in, they couldn't see where was the splendid palace of the Pakistani lord that they wanted to see the most.
What they could see most clearly were the wooden boats docked on the pier and the large and small wooden boats slowly moving slowly in the river.
Jiangzhou City is located at the confluence of the Yangtze River and its tributary Jialing River (Jiangbeizui on the north bank of the Jialing River).
Although the capital at that time was far from the scale of the later one, it was undoubtedly a behemoth for the Hu'an Mountain warriors who went out for the first time.
Curiously, the capital of Pakistan, as well as other important towns, did not have the usual earthen walls – some people have speculated that the Ba people used fences, so no remains remained.
What the Ba people built seems to be an open city - they believe that the flesh and blood of the Ba warriors and the sharp willow leaf sword are the real impregnable city walls.
Until more than 40 years later, in 316 B.C., the famous politician Zhang Yi during the Warring States Period, the military strategist Sima Cuo and Du Weimo led the Qin army to destroy Shu, and destroyed Ba by the way.
According to the order received, the samurai transferred from other places were not allowed to enter the city. Although he knew that he was here to fight, he thought that it would be such an order, but Jiangzhou City was in front of him, and he couldn't go in to see it in person, and many people still scolded his mother. They could only look at the capital from afar above the river.
Just on the bank of Yushui in the capital Jiangzhou, after resting and turning the boat once, like a hurried passerby, the warriors of Hu'an Mountain were ordered to drive into Langshui.
Langshui, also known as the Jialing River, is the largest tributary of the Yangtze River system, with the Bailong River and the Western Han River as its upper source. The following section of the two estuaries in Luoyang County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province, was once called "diving". This river was called the Jialing River after the Tang Dynasty.
The section from the confluence of the Jialing River, the Qujiang River and the Fujiang River (Hechuan) to Chaotianmen, the main urban area of Chongqing, was called Yushui in ancient times.
There are different theories about the origin of "Yushui". One of the views, some folklore experts believe that in ancient times, there were the Yu people, the different names Fuyu, Fuyu and so on. About 3,100 years ago, the battle of Muye, the merchants were defeated, and one of the Fuyu people fled to the southwest and came to today's Jialing River.
Later, Chongqing was referred to as "Chongqing", which should also be the same reason as the name "Yushui".
In the Jialing River Basin, there were several important groups of Ba people in a broad sense for a long time. Among them, the most influential was later called "Eren".
The people are also known as the Yin people and the Bandun Man, and have lived in the Xiajiang area of the Jialing River for generations. As early as before the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, they established their own state in the Jialing River Valley, and were later assimilated by the Ba people who migrated westward (such as the Baihuba people), and the Eren evolved into a branch of the Ba people. "The Legend of the Land" contains: Brazil's ditches, its people are brave and healthy, good at singing and dancing, the adjacent mountains overlap, the danger is secondary, and the ancient country is also the capital.
In the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the Langshui (Jialing River) basin was the main area for the two overlords in the Sichuan Basin, Ba and Shu.
It was an unfamiliar battlefield for the samurai of Danfushui, and most of them did not know why they were entering Yushui or where they were going.
Unbeknownst to most of the samurai in Danfushui, they entered a rather special geographical environment of warfare - a special geographical unit that came to be known as the "Sichuan Basin".
The Bashu region, with the Sichuan Basin as the main body, with Chongqing and Chengdu as the center, the north of the basin is Minshan Mountain and Daba Mountain, the west is Hengduan Mountain, the south has Wumeng Mountain and Da Lou Mountain, and the east is Wushan.
The army from outside had to enter the Sichuan Basin, that is, the main areas of Ba and Shu, and there were dangerous roads and Xiongguan on all sides: the Three Gorges Waterway of the Yangtze River and Kuimen Pass in the east, the Jinniu Road and Jianmen Pass in the north, the Ancient Tea Horse Road and Diaomen Road in the west, and the Qingxi Road, Sichuan-Guizhou Road and Shimen Road in the south.
And some roads were opened later, such as the Golden Bull Road, which was later opened by the Qin people with trickery and let the Shu people work hard to open it up - this is a fantasy story.
Therefore, the main area of Bashu (Sichuan Basin) is a distinctive and relatively independent geographical unit.
Because of this characteristic, the war of Bashan Shushui, or a battle, mostly has a beginning and an end in the territory.
Historically, there were not many cases of wars in the Sichuan Basin that were fought from outside the country or from within the country.
This topographical feature, coupled with the fertile land, humid climate, and abundant production, has made the Sichuan Basin a "king's asset" several times in history, such as Liu Bang, who established the Han Dynasty, "Gaozu became an emperor because of it", and Liu Bei, who established the Shu State during the Three Kingdoms period.
At the same time, due to the special topography of the basin, it has also become a refuge for the central power in turmoil several times. In June of the fifteenth year of Tang Tianbao (756 AD), forced by the "Anshi Rebellion", Emperor Li Longji of Tang Ming began to flee with his beloved concubine Yang Yuhuan, and the destination was the Sichuan Basin; during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Chongqing became the temporary capital of the Nationalist Government, that is, the capital of the country.
During the Warring States Period, the world was in turmoil, but the main target of the vassal states was the Central Plains, and if Ba and Shu had lived in peace at that time, the Sichuan Basin could have become a relatively stable and relatively calm region.
However, contrary to expectations, the "basin fight" between Ba, Shu and more than 40 other tribes (small countries) may not be under the Central Plains if it is only more lively.
The main area for the hegemony of the two basins of Bashu is the Langshui (Jialing River) basin that the Danfushui warriors will go to this time.
During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, there were three important passages (waterways) between the two countries of Bashu, one of which was to follow the Fujiang River north from Hechuan to Fucheng (now Mianyang), and the troops were in the north of Chengdu. This road is generally called "Neishui", among which Fucheng and Dianjiang (now Hezhou) are the most important passes on the way. This line is the route for Liu Bei to enter Shu during the Three Kingdoms period.
The second is to trace the Yangtze River and the Min River from Jiangzhou, the capital of Pakistan, and go up to the south of Chengdu, this road is generally called "Waishui", and Nan'an (now Leshan) on the road is the most important city. This road, at that time, was not the main choice for Pakistan to attack Shu, and the Ba people chose a more direct offensive route. At the same time, historically, this road was generally used as a route for feints from Chongqing to Chengdu.
The third is to enter the Tuojiang River from the west of Jiangzhou (Chongqing), and then go north from the Tuojiang River to Chengdu directly, this road is generally called "Zhongshui", and Neijiang City, Sichuan Province is the most important city on the way.
Don't talk about it, the book is back to business.
Gu Menglong got the news that the main force of the Pakistani army in Jiangzhou had set off a few days ago, taking the "internal water" and forcing the Shu realm.
Yu Menglong guessed that at this time, the main force of the Ba army should have arrived at the front line (about the territory of present-day Suining City, Sichuan) to arrange troops and fight with the people of Shu.
Yu Menglong also speculated that perhaps, the war had already begun, and the troops transferred from Danfushui and other places were probably only here as "reserves".
On the evening of the next day, one hundred and one warriors of the Hu'an Mountain tribe arrived at another important city in Pakistan - a city that was even more unfamiliar to the warriors of Hu'an Mountain.
