Chapter 35: Strange Things Happen
Tom looked back at her with a puzzled look on his face.
Although Tom is now a fourth-grader, he is only 11 years old and is about the same height as Natalia Beova, who is also 11 years old.
He looked at Beauva at eye level, waiting for Beauva to say what was going on.
Natalia Beauva had a sweet face and gently rested her head on Tom's shoulder: "When you were in first grade, I heard about you and Harry Potter. β
"I heard?" Tom's heart couldn't help but wonder a little, "aren't you a Muggle-born wizard like me, where did you hear about my deeds?"
"Ahh
The whole of Slytherin knows that you are Muggle-born.
Tom complained silently in his heart.
"Gee, none of that matters. Beauva waved her hand into the air, as if to wave something away, "Importantly, at that time, you found out that the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor at the time was a Death Eater, and not only did he and Harry Potter overcome the difficulties set by the professors to protect the Philosopher's Stone, but also helped Harry Potter deal with Voldemort, which is really cool!"
Speaking of the incident three years ago, I'm afraid that the whole school probably knows more than Tom except for the freshmen and Tom himself, right?
It's amazing that you have to know about your own "personal" experience from someone else's mouth.
"You know that in detail. Tom couldn't help but say.
"Hey, hey!" Natalia Beauva smiled shyly, two red clouds on her face, "I know a lot!"
"Huh, tell me?" Tom decided to listen carefully to what Beauva had to say, and maybe he would know what was going on with Tom who had been at Hogwarts three years earlier.
Natalia Beauva was in high spirits, her delicate eyebrows raised high.
Her eyes shone with a tiny glow, as if they were filled with stars: "I know it was Tom who found out that something was wrong with Professor Quirrell, and then you guessed that Professor Quirrell wanted to steal the Philosopher's Stone in the castle." β
Tom knows about the Philosopher's Stone, after all, it's written in the book.
Knowing that Professor Quirrell was wrong thoughβwell, only now did he know it was Professor Quirrell who had the problem.
But how did Beauva know that it was Professor Quirrell who was going to steal the Philosopher's Stone?
You know, as a Muggle-born wizard, you can only know what happened in the wizarding world before entering Hogwarts from various written records.
None of the extracurricular books that Tom had read during the summer vacation, and the books he had recently gone to the library with Harry, had anything particularly detailed about the events that had happened in Harry's first year, and there was not even any mention of Tom himself in the books.
"Anything else?" said Tom, smiling at Beauva.
"Of course!" Natalia Beauva shook her head, her long ponytail swaying gently with her movements, "You and Harry figured out how to find the entrance to the fourth floor corridor where the Philosopher's Stone was hidden, and after Quirrell tricked Headmaster Dumbledore out of the school, you realized he was going to do it." β
There is something wrong with this Bova!
Tom's heart was full of alarm bells.
He was sure that if what he knew about the first grade was that he didn't actively read the books and was incomplete, then Beauva wouldn't have been able to know everything in such detail anyway.
It's impossible to write everything about what happened in Hogwarts in a book, and even if you ask the students in the castle, they won't know that much - because the only people involved must be Harry and Tom themselves, or the professors, or at most one or two more students who know.
And because of Dumbledore's character, he will definitely not allow all those who know to spread the truth of the matter, at most it is to spread rumors and make curious people think that what they know is the truth.
Alas?
Tom's mind flashed.
It is also possible that this Beauva only knows the popular version.
To test his suspicions, Tom looked at Beauva and motioned for her to continue.
"Harry told Professor Snape what he had discovered, and although Professor Snape promised you to check it out later with a few professors, Harry was not at ease and dragged you to the fourth floor exclusion zone. β
Natalia Beauva saw that Tom was rarely so gentle to her, and was willing to listen to her, and her little face lit up with excitement.
"So, you know what's in the restricted area on the fourth floor?" asked Tom, seemingly casually.
"Of course!" Beauvoir nodded, "First the three-headed hound guarding the trapdoor, then the devil's vine, then the room full of keys, then the trolls, the giant chessboard, and then Professor Snape's potion!"
"But the most difficult thing is the last level set by Professor Dumbledore, Quirrell has been there for a long time before you, but you can't find the Philosopher's Stone, or you are so good, you secretly followed Harry through Harry's invisibility cloak, and subdued Voldemort on the back of Quirrell's head when he wanted to attack Harry. β
With that, Natalia excitedly burrowed her head into Tom's arms, forcing Tom to push her away.
"Thank you for having such a high opinion of me, Beauvoir. Tom said awkwardly, "I still have some things to do, and we'll talk about them when we get a chance." β
With that, Tom ignored the excited Natalia Beova and strode towards Harry, dragging Harry and Korubelos back to the castle.
"How's it going?" said Harry, smirking evilly, completely unaware that Tom was rudely tugging at his robe.
"Not what you think. Tom said solemnly, "I have something to ask you, let's go back to the dormitory and talk." β
"Ah, don't ask me. Harry shook his head quickly, "I haven't even touched a girl's little hand until now!"
Tom glanced at Harry, wanting to knock out her head and see what the savior was thinking about all day.
"Do you only have girls in your head every day?" asked Tom, with some hatred.
"Hey!" Harry protested, "I didn't!" said Siris, if you don't do it sooner, the good girls will be snatched away!"
"Smack" Tom reluctantly slapped his face.
Harry, the godfather, sounded a little unreliable.
"Siris also said that if my father hadn't made the first move in the first grade, my mother wouldn't have been able to marry my father so easily!"
Harry continued, unrelenting.
"I don't want to know anything about your mom and dad's relationship. Tom thought of his parents who were so sweet and tired every day, and his head throbbed, "Of course I don't care about your relationship." β
