CHAPTER XIX
The new chief's order caused the pot to explode in the quiet tent. Pen %Fun %Pavilion www.biquge.info everyone was already full of resentment against Ryktar, and now he asked everyone to send him to death, and no one could suppress the anger in his heart. They shouted and cursed noisily, humiliated the young new chief in the dirtiest language, and some spat at Ryktar.
"That's enough!" shouted Shacier, startling the child in her arms, but making everyone else shut up. "I know you've been grumbling since Ryktar succeeded him as chief. As the head of the clan, he was a little younger, but Logosh wouldn't give him the thorn for nothing. Use your rusty brains and think about what decision Logosh would have made if he were here?"
Like the other orcs, Ryktar listened to Shakiel's words and looked down at the battle axe in his hand, the only relic of Logosh and the symbol of the chieftain of the Shatterbladed Clan for generations.
Maghan was the first to stand up and walk out of the tent, taking a stand with his tomahawk in both hands. "I hope that the human cavalry will be brave and good at fighting, and Lao Tzu will die under the sword if he wants to die, but he doesn't want to be frozen into a ****. Maghan said.
Another old warrior named Savob followed, holding the largest axe on his shoulder, patting Ryktar and jokingly, "If I don't freeze to death, you can just give me the thorns." Ryktar smiled at Savob, and the other orcs walked up to Maghan and Savob, flashing their battle axes and staring intently into the distance.
The fleeing orcs had approached Ryktar's tent, and the giant sand lizard jumped off his mount and crawled to Maghan. "Who's the chief?" he asked.
"Me. Savob grinned, and his companion standing next to him whispered to him to remind him of his identity, but he tucked back with the phrase "I can't freeze to death anyway, that stinky boy may not be".
Ryktar politely slapped his left chest twice, and asked the stranger kindly, "Please don't mind, I'm the chief of the Shatterblade Clan, Ryktar, may I ask who you are?"
"Thorn Ridge's Blood Guardian Zug," replied the stranger eagerly, "no time to talk nonsense, run with your people!" the human cavalry is coming, followed by ......"
Before Zug could finish speaking, the iron hooves of the cavalry came one after another. Armed with spears more than ten yards long, they poked Zug's companions to the ground with little effort, and then they rounded Ryktar's tent and galloped to the sides.
"!" Zug roared and threw his axe, knocking down a relatively backward cavalryman. He took advantage of the situation to roll over to his dying companion, and picked up two scattered battle axes to fight to the death against the regrouped cavalry.
It all happened so quickly that no one could have imagined that in an instant, an orc would die at the onslaught of the human cavalry, and the enraged Ryktar raised his thorn and shouted, "For the sake of Logosh's wife and children, cut them down!"
Zug was stunned by Rektar's mobilization, and although the orcs were reckless by nature, he had never seen a chief rush to the Yellow Springs with his people.
A second wave of charges followed, and the Shattered Orcs were fearless in the face of iron horsemen several times their size, and bravely advanced under the leadership of Ryktar. The cavalry were taken by surprise by the Shatterbladed Orc's counterattack, which they had never seen such savage yet subtle anti-cavalry skill - just as the two sides were about to clash, the Shatterbladed Orcs swung their axes in unison, turning their spears with their wide blades to deflect their spears directly in front of their horses and block their horses' path. Taking advantage of the unbalanced cavalry's reins, the tomahawk swept viciously through the low altitude and brutally cut off the horse's hind legs. The cavalrymen who had not been able to dodge were all on their backs and were badly wounded.
