CHAPTER XXI

Kutara giggled, the north wind under her crotch as if she understood Frey's joke, raising her head lazily and twisting her neck. Pen ~ fun ~ pavilion www.biquge.info

Frey turned to look at Kutara and the North Wind, hoping that Kutara wasn't giggling at this point, but taunted himself in the same cold tone. As the Duke of Ice's Castle, Frey often couldn't sleep because of his worries and stresses, and in the dead of night, he either stared lovingly at Idney, who was sharing the bed, or stood at the window thinking about the old fellow who was really not a friend, and his sneering way of speaking.

"Whoa—whoa—" came the howl of the frostwolf from the direction of the commander's tent, and several guards rushed to Frey in a panic to inform Frey that the baron had broken his chain and was "making a show of might" outside the tent.

"Lady Kutara, your 'pets' are so clever that they are so good at timing even causing trouble. Frey waved his hand in displeasure for the guards to stand back, and strode toward the tent.

"Wait a minute, sir!" Kutala rode the north wind to block Frey's path, and before the north wind could gain a foothold, the baron flew over Kutala's head and fell on his stomach in front of Frey.

"Ride him, sir. The baron must have a premonition that he wants to take you away, and this place should not stay for long. ”

Before Frey, who was startled by the baron, came back to his senses, the frenzied frostwolf arched his body and carried him on his back, and immediately galloped. Concerned about the baron's perverseness, Kutara immediately slapped the north wind twice on the neck and chased after him like a flying arrow.

Due to the suddenness of the incident, Frey could only barely pull on the belt used to tie the saddle, trying not to fall off the wolf's back. The Baron carried him all the way, and it didn't take much time to reach the lifeless town of Moongate. Relieved, Frey jumped off the wolf's back and sorted out his messy clothes, then looked around. He felt someone watching him, but when his gaze swept over the broken wooden windows, the townsfolk who were hiding in the shadows did not hesitate to block the windows with wooden planks.
