Chapter 9 Segason 3
Segason has gone through a bizarre journey in a coma. Pen Fun Pavilion www.biquge.info he saw a terrifying creature with wings on its back and a long horned head riding a keel, a pitiful small compared to the giant warship docked in Howling Wind Bay. These monsters, which exist only in the nightmares of children, wield long-handled blades similar to those of "Humanity Annihilation", and soar through human villages and towns, slaughtering their inhabitants with impunity. Segathon also saw monsters engage with a coalition of humans, elves, and dwarves, slaughtering fallen prisoners of war, tearing neighing horses, and trampling on flags that were discarded everywhere. They stormed the fortresses of humanity, smashed the statues of great heroes to pieces, and burned the majestic human cities. At the end of the journey, Segason saw a monster kneeling with the corpse of a human woman in its arms and crying, looking up to the sky and howling, and then in a daze, he stepped onto the keel warship and disappeared into the rising mist of the endless sea, its back lonely and silent.
As the jolting intensified, Segason felt a cramping pain in his stomach and vomited and woke up from his fainting. He was in a cramped wooden cabin, **** body, his hands were locked in heavy cast-iron shackles, and he was surrounded by young men who had suffered the same thing as himself. Segason didn't have to think about where he was, the sound of the waves outside the planks had already indicated that the ship was sailing on the open sea, and it didn't matter where it was going.
"Squeak-" The wooden door at the top of the cabin was opened with a long, annoying sound, and the blinding glare shone shone into the dimly lit cabin, and the prisoners raised their hands to cover their eyes, only Segason remained unmoved. The fat body writhed and climbed down the ladder, followed by two bodyguards armed to the teeth.
"I'm very sorry to meet you in this way, but I really want to have a sumptuous dinner with you and introduce myself solemnly. But the high priest of the great Pale Lord would not allow me to do so, and he always told me to be frugal. So please forgive me for my rudeness and allow me to briefly introduce myself - I am Charles Pounds, the mayor of Rock Crab Town, and a servant of the Great Pale Lord. The mayor said as he bowed deeply to the prisoners.
"Liar!" someone shouted angrily and spat at the mayor, and the heavily armed bodyguards immediately rushed over and stabbed him in the stomach several times, the barbed blades pulling out a large amount of flesh and internal organs with each draw, the brutality of the scene was outrageous.
"Ahem... Ahem......" The mayor covered his mouth and coughed twice, signaling the bodyguard to stop. "Look, how dutiful my bodyguards are, so you'd better not provoke me. Sometimes I don't even have time to stop, and your heads have already moved. We'll sail for a while, trying not to throw up. As the High Priest used to tell me, our itinerary will be so frugal that you will have nothing to fill your stomachs except your own excrement and the bleeding corpse, and good luck to you. ”
"Bang!" followed the mayor's departure with the sound of the wooden doors slamming shut, and no more sunlight poured into the cabin, and Segathon's surroundings fell into darkness again.
Unable to see the sun, Segason could only tell the time by faintly visible light and shade through the gaps in the planks on the top of the cabin, and about three days after the mayor returned to the deck, the jolting of the waves gradually diminished, and Segason heard the bell that only rang when the ship entered the harbor. The stench in the cabin, which was bright again, almost suffocated the sailors who opened the wooden doors. The cabin was littered with sloppy excrement and vomit, white maggots wriggled on the festering corpses, and the chained prisoners allowed the violent jolts of the ship to splash filthy juice on themselves. Fortunately, in this environment, no matter how strong the willpower is, there will never be a desire to eat, so the more disgusting thing that the mayor said about did not happen here.
"What the does it smell like? I'm going to vomit the gruel I drank before I boarded the ship! Come and clean it up!" said the mayor, standing on deck, and the many sailors around the wooden doors leading to the lower cabins stood with their mouths and noses covered, refusing to take a step forward like horses facing a cliff. "Do you want Lao Tzu to do it himself? down!" the mayor continued to shout with his teeth and claws, but he retreated farther and farther away.
"You'll have to get used to the smell, Lord Pounds. "Every agent encounters this situation on their first voyage, and when they get used to enjoying the bounty of the great Pale Lord, they will realize how wonderful it tastes." ”
"Yes, Lord Priest, it is as if I have felt the glory of my Lord. The mayor took a deep breath and laughed, "Ah, my lord let the scent of lavender come from the hellish cabin!"
In the midst of the conversation between the mayor and the high priest, the prisoners in the cabin have been escorted to the deck by the "intrepid" sailors. Segason stole his peripheral vision to scan the surroundings—many ships docked at this humble little port, and at the other end of the equally humble dock was the path leading to the top of the hill. The mountain is not very high, but it stands abruptly on the sea, and looking up from the pier, you can vaguely guess that there is a meadow on the top of the mountain, which is not very large, but relatively flat. Maybe it's a big, ornate building, or it's an old ruin.
Segason likes to think like this, and imagining infinite space with his limited sense of sight and sound is his greatest pleasure besides killing.
