CHAPTER XXI

"Once again, I beg you to stop joking, Lord Frey. Pen @ fun @ pavilion wWw. biqUgE怂 infoThere is no art of resurrecting the dead in the world, and you and I both know this. Malad's face was composed, his displeasure so naked that even the children in the back room could see it.

Fray suddenly leaned forward, leaned his face near Marad, lowered his voice and said sternly, "You and I both know that there is more to it than that. Don't go around in circles, you should think about the current situation, I can move your head at the touch of a finger in the West. With that, Frey leaned back in his chair and smiled. "I'll trouble you with the task of healing Rawallen, Lord Marad, and I'll have to go back and take command of the army at once. I sincerely hope that when the army of Ice's Breath arrives in Moongate, there will be a lively Ravallen tied up in this room. ā€

On the way back, Frey was nervous, and he couldn't come up with a plausible conclusion about the fight with Lavalren and Malad's intervention. According to Ravallen, if the rebels really want to ambush the army of Ice's Breath, stopping Frey at Moongate should be a central part of the strategy to divert the tiger from the mountain, so that the rebels can take advantage of the leaderless army of Ice's Castle to attack in a big way, effectively destroying the enemy and minimizing losses. But it was a complete accident that he broke away from the army and rushed to Yuemen Town in advance, and the rebels could not have expected the sudden action of the baron, so it was a joke to stop the team with an unknown number of people. However, the red signal over the town square was clearly indicating that Lavalen was stalling for time, but the target was not Frey. "Who would I be?" the question swirled in Frey's mind, making Frey, bewildered by the paradoxes, even more confused.

Thankfully, Frey's garrison was exceptionally quiet at night, and the sentinels on duty were serious enough to soon find Frey and Kutara returning from the snow with the frostwolves. If it weren't for the Baron's incredible speed, the sentinels in charge would have disturbed everyone's dreams.

"It seems that Malad and I are hiding a lot of secrets. Frey thought to himself, falling headlong on the soft bearskin blanket.

It took another two days for the army of Ice's Breath to reach Moongate. The arrival of the army caused the townspeople to complain, and every household not only did their best to vacate rooms for the soldiers to occupy, but also turned up the food reserves for the winter.

Marad requisitioned the hut with which the two had first negotiated for Frey, and the original owner of the house was borrowed by the officers of the Sixth Corps. Frey complained about this, but he couldn't say it explicitly, so he had to send his adjutant behind his back to send some gold coins, and he didn't know if the simple hostess dared to accept it.
