CHAPTER XVII. Reven 4

After thinking about it again and again, Raven stepped onto the steps step by step, step by step. Pen ~ fun ~ Pavilion www.biquge.info only a few yards out, he heard a fly-like buzz from outside the city wall, the sound was unsustainable and noisy, and the noise made him feel like numbness. The more he walked up, the more annoying the sound became, and Raven finally had to cover his ears to calm his mind a little, but it still couldn't completely stop the sound from invading his brain.

As if the steps leading up to the sky had wasted Raven's time, his stomach rumbling in protest against his long hours of not eating food—especially after he had spent a hard afternoon and vomiting his lunch from flying filth—the stomach acid that had nowhere to be consumed corroded his stomach, causing him an unbearable burning pain that made it difficult for him to walk. Now he understood the conspiracy behind the timing and route Talisha had chosen—dragging her hungry and tired body up the wall was enough to exhaust the dwarves who had been buried in the mines for years, and as a not strong human, he could not escape without the guards to stop him.

"Ahh He inhaled deeply to sweep away his fatigue with the help of fresh air, but the foul stench was like a tentacle in his throat, causing him to retch again.

If he had not stood at the top of the walls of Nasron, Raven would never have believed that the world of cannibalism in the Bard's mouth was not the result of imagination, and if anyone questioned the reliability of the Bard's claims in his face, he would have described the horrific scene without stopping, because right before his eyes, at his feet, a bloody feast was taking place outside the walls of Nasron.

Thousands of "corpses" were crowded at the foot of the city walls, and Raven could really see that most of them were missing arms and legs, and occasionally a few of them were relatively intact and mutilated, or there were bones pierced and skin exposed, or internal organs flowing out of exaggerated wounds, which was terrifying. What made Raven even more creepy was that the "corpses" were like living people, desperately pushing each other and rushing towards the city wall, and the guy in front of him hit the stone wall with his flesh, leaving a blurred mark of flesh and blood on the wall. Presumably due to the loss of their souls or the damage to their vocal cords due to the decay of their bodies, the "corpses" could only let out a low roar of "ahhh

The hell on earth outside the city walls shocked Raven's senses of sight, sound, and smell, leaving an indelible impression on him. He turned and ran away in a panic, forgetting his exhaustion and hunger for a moment, and stumbled back to Talisa, nearly tripped over himself and rolled down the stairs on the way.

"Outside...... What the...... What the hell?" Raven asked, gasping heavily, his hands gripped Talisa's arm, causing her to frown.

"Residual blood. Talisa squeezed two words out between her teeth.

"!" Raven spun around in a hurry, shouting and scolding, "! What the is this?

Talisa reached out to soothe Raven's emotions, but he pushed her and stumbled to the side of the road.

"Don't touch me, ****! I don't care whose child you're pregnant! I'm never going to stay here, and I won't ......."

"Bang!" Before Raven could finish his sentence, the patrolling guard slammed his shield on the back of his head, ending his roar.
