Chapter 011: Hunting Outing
As Skyrim is just revealed, Kenny wakes up from his sleep. Pen, fun, and www.biquge.info
He lifted the quilt gently, and a trace of wind squeezed in through the crack in the window at an inopportune time, and he shivered, and then quickly picked up the silver armor and black steel sword hanging at the end of the bed, and walked out of the room on tiptoe, for fear of disturbing the white pigeon and old Flynn, who had not yet gotten up.
When everything was ready, he pulled out a slightly rusty axe and a piece of oak from the pile of groceries at the back of the house, and after some chopping and polishing, the thick oak turned into a stick about six feet long, and he turned out some vines in the pile of groceries, and after careful selection, a vine that looked fairly strong and somewhat elastic was wrapped into the groove of the slightly curved stick, and he tried to pull the strange-looking bow, and then nodded in satisfaction.
After that, he sharpened the leftover scrap wood into a pointed stick, caught a rooster that had just woken up, plucked the feathers from its wings, and used it to stabilize the pointed stick, which was called an arrow.
"Hey, what are you doing?"
Kenny turned around to see the white dove staring at him sleepily. "Make bows and arrows for hunting. He raised the long stick in his hand and said, "I promised you yesterday that today I would go to the forest and come back from hunting some game." β
"Hunting?" said the white pigeon, "are you ready to leave here?"
"I have nowhere to go. Kenny shrugged and put down his axe and arrow. "Just trying to make up for yesterday's fragrant stew. He said.
"Are you sure this feather arrow can hit a rabbit?" said the white pigeon with a vague smile.
"Perhaps. As he spoke, he took up one of the arrows he had made, stood up, put himself on the bowstring made of vines, drew his bow, and shot the arrow.
The arrow swirled and hit a distant poplar impartially, surprising even Kenny himself.
"Wow! Old Flynn is right, you are indeed a knight!" the white pigeon rubbed his eyes, "can you let me go with you? I have never hunted, and I seem to be very interesting!"
"No, it's a dangerous job. Kenny turned to look at her, "To be precise, this job is only for men, and there are not only hares, but also brown bears and wolves in the forest, and I can't guarantee your safety." So, you better stay here. β
"What if I have to go?" she said, her chin raised.
"I'll go back and get some sleep and wake up earlier tomorrow. He took a few steps forward and walked up to her, "Definitely got up earlier than you, and got up softer." β
"I'll follow you. She softened her tone suddenly, "What's more, we don't need wolf meat, just hunt a few hares at the edge of the forest, and if we do meet a brown bear or a lion, run away immediately, okay?"
He hesitated, looking down at the deep blue eyes that were close at hand, and could even feel her slight snort. "Okay. He relented, "But you have to swear that whatever you find, you must follow me and not leave me." β
"I swear. She raised her hand and smiled.
The spring sun shines on the earth, and it also brings warmth to the forest after a long absence.
The two of them followed a crystal clear stream all the way east, and met hares several times along the way, but the white pigeon seemed to be in a particularly happy mood today, as if he had opened the old chatterbox, and kept chattering about her and old Flynn, and about the forest.
Kenny was happy to listen to the nagging. After getting along for a few days, he felt that the arrogant and messy girl around him gradually became gentle, and deep in the heart of that lonely and cold appearance, it seemed that there was a child who had not yet been involved in the world, plus the pot of stewed pork yesterday, everything about her became better.
Although all the nagging sounds boring and boring.
About half an hour later, they rested at the end of the stream, where there was a stump. He felt a little thirsty, and the white pigeon picked some red wild fruits out of nowhere and handed them to him, and then laughed at his sour face.
"We're out hunting. He reminded as he spit out the sour fruit in his mouth.
"Of course I remember. She covered her mouth and raised her head, "But outings and hunting don't conflict, not to mention, the scenery here is so good!"
"I thought you were tired of it. He furrowed his eyebrows and shook the crooked longbow in his hand, "Now that I've come out, I've got to bring something back, or I might as well accompany Lady Flynn to the depths of the forest!"
"You're disappointed with me?" she lowered her eyelids.
"No, I've never been so happy. He laughed.
After hearing this, she stopped pacing, raised a pair of delicate dark blue eyes to stare at Kenny, and asked in a gentle, long tone, "What .....about Will you stay here forever? I mean, if one day, you regain your memory....." and then, she lowered her head, waiting for an answer, a faint flush rising from the ivory-white pear swirl.
"If I had a mission, I would have left. He suddenly stopped laughing and became serious.
Her mouth was slightly open, and a hint of disappointment flashed in the corners of her eyes, but only for a moment. "Yes, I thought so too. She said, "I wish you were leaving, we can't afford toβ"
"I will come back when I complete my mission. He interrupted her, his eyes softened, "It's good here, because of you and old Flynn." He smiled, "Before I fell unconscious, I must have suffered unimaginable calamities, and I may have brushed shoulders with death, but now I feel lucky that I met you." β
"Really?" she looked back up.
"God Namu testified. He lowered his longbow and clenched his right hand into a fist and rested it on his chest.
"Hey, Unknown Knight, you're blushing!" she shouted, and strode away toward the edge of the forest.
He followed. Approaching the edge of the forest, the white dove seemed to be deliberately going deeper into the forest, and he had to follow him, the path becoming more and more difficult as the bushes and trees increased.
As they made their way through the dense forest, Kenny walked around to her, drawing his sword to cut down the green vines and weeds that stood in their way, and the white dove followed behind, humming a delighted tune of his own making.
"We can't go any further. He stopped abruptly and turned to look at the white dove, "You promised me, remember?"
"But the rabbits seem to be hidden, and there are a lot of them just now. She said, "A little further, it doesn't hurt, we can get out at any time, it's not far from the edge, not to mentionβ"
He suddenly made a silent gesture and covered the white pigeon's mouth with his hand. "Don't speak. He commanded in an almost inaudible voice, then turned to look at the rows of bottomless trees, his honey-colored eyes sharp and sharp.
"What's wrong?" the white dove kept his voice low, "what do you see?"
Kenny didn't say anything, he tightened his grip on the black steel sword, tucked his longbow behind his back, and grabbed the white dove with one free hand, retreating behind a stout ancient pine.
They remained silent for a long time, until the white dove began to grow impatient, and tried to push away the hand that was holding her shoulder, but she seemed to forget that she was in the forest, and that the unknown knight had just moved.
Suddenly, a howl rang out in the distance, and she could hear it clearly, like the scream of some animal.
