Chapter Eighty-Five: Eggs and Fruits

The oval thing Tucker was holding was an egg.

"The giver is leaving, the beautiful, the giving, the giver."

'Giver' is the dragon's name for Lyn's pom-pom, which comes from the language vocabulary of the head worm, which is used to describe things such as good things such as the rain in the sky that makes the planted plants grow faster, and the dragon called Lynn pom-pom after knowing this meaning.

The pom-pom stretched out a tentacle and rolled up the egg in front of him to look at it, the egg shimmered with a silver-blue light, and it was very gorgeous in the sun.

But this is not a skeleton egg, their egg is white, and there is a rib-like pattern on it, this egg ...... Where the hell did they come from? Lynn hasn't seen it yet.

Occasionally, the skeletal dragon likes to pick up shiny things to pile together, usually rocks or something, and it is the first time they find an egg, and they have always loved this kind of object, considering it to be a precious thing, so Tucker will give it to pom-poms.

Lin felt that these things were useless, but of course the egg was still useful, and could be eaten or smashed, or used to train the creatures that were about to hatch inside.

Of course, there must be creatures in it in advance......

Lynn pompom sticks out a tentacle with a mouth and swallows the egg to monitor, and Lynn now uses a mini-class infiltration method that allows her to observe what's inside the egg without dealing damage.

After carefully examining the inside of the egg, Lynn found that it was actually ...... A dragon cub? And it's mature, and it's about to hatch.

No, this isn't Tucker's skeletal dragon. It's the White Dragon.

There are indeed other White Skeleton Dragon tribes around here. The color of their eggs is so strange.

"Where are you looking for?" Lynn immediately questioned Tucker.

"Southeast. East. Tucker immediately raised his forelimbs and pointed into the woods, which they often like to run into the woods these days, so Lynn used that as a starting point.

Pom-pom spat out the egg and gave it back to Tucker: "Keep." Then the pom-pom flew high and flew in the direction of the jungle.

Skeleton dragons usually do not have a specific breeding season, they start to breed when there is abundant food around them, and the eggs are piled together to be cared for when they are laid. So it's unlikely to be picked up, so isn't it possible that the habits of the White Skeleton Dragon are different?

The pom-pom made its way through the jungle quickly, and the place was replaced by another shorter tree, and the ground was densely packed with dead leaves and a lot of balls.

The pom-pom floated down slowly, grabbed a ball with his tentacles and ate it.

Also known as the 'fruit', this sphere is a newly evolved form of the plants here, which coats their seeds with a layer of 'flesh' in order to spread further. In this way, other organisms are attracted to eat and the seeds are taken further afield.

Interestingly. Even plants that are originally highly poisonous produce very delicious fruits, and they often attract creatures with a taste called 'sweetness'.

The fruit of some plants is also poisonous, probably due to the fact that some arthropods will burrow into their fruit and 'eat' their fruit for nothing, after all, these little insects do not transport their seeds, and sometimes they will eat the seeds in the core, which is very bad for plants.

Poisonous fruits are resistant to predators, but they often require specific anti-venom organisms to transport, making them more cumbersome to spread.

The plants here are getting more and more interesting.

The pom-pom flew and Lynn saw something wonderful, what looked like ...... Hut?

By the way, this one looks like the shack that Tucker used to build, and now they don't have much of these things, and Lynn looked closer to the shack and saw that it was empty.

"Woo woo oh oh!" Suddenly, there was a roar in the surrounding woods, and dozens of white figures rushed out of the jungle, enveloping Lynn's pom-poms.

These are...... White Skeleton Dragon.

They pounced frantically, and Lynn's pom-pom immediately accelerated into the air to dodge the attack, and as soon as Lynn looked down, a large number of wooden thorns were thrown up, and these wooden thorns pierced into the pom-pom's hair, but they didn't stab the flesh, and Lynn shook it a little and it was all gone.

They seemed to be eager to kill the pom-pom as a group of white dragons roared below, and the pom-pom transformed and disappeared from the sky.

The white dragons were visibly stunned, and they stayed below for a long time, and after a few hundred seconds, they all left in great disappointment.

They may have wanted to catch the creatures that had taken their eggs, and relying on their ability to change color, the pompoms followed the group of white skeleton dragons, who circled around the jungle until they finally reached a relatively empty place, where Lin found dozens of sheds, and the group of white skeleton dragons apparently lived here.

Lynn walked around their huts and noticed that their way of life was similar to that of the dragons, but there were no cubs here, and Lynn saw some of them walking into the jungle with the silver-blue eggs and taking them far away...... Then put it in the field and bury it, and then the white dragons walked back to the tribe without caring about the egg.

Do they want to leave their eggs in the wild to incubate? Does the White Skeleton Dragon still have such peculiar habits?

Then Lin spent the next few days and nights observing the group of white dragons, there were more than thirty of them, they preferred to catch some smaller prey rather than group hunting large prey, and they did release the hatching cubs into the wild, about a hundred meters away from the group, so that the cubs could crawl out and run back into the group on their own, and only the cubs who had the ability to survive could join the group.

This behavior of the white skeleton dragon makes the cubs have to work hard when they are born, so it is not strange that the eggs are picked up by other creatures, I don't know how long they have lived here, they are only a few hundred meters away from the dragon perch, and it is really strange that they have not encountered them.

However, the surprise did not last long, and after a day and night, Lynn noticed that a skeletal dragon from the Tucker tribe had appeared near the hut of the white skeletal dragons, and it seemed to have arrived by accident, and when it saw it, it ran back in a panic.

Lin also put some eyeballs on Tucker's side, and the skeletal dragon ran back to the dragon's perch and immediately notified Tucker, and Tucker immediately became angry when he heard this, and he gathered all the tribe members to rush over here......

This may be...... The first war of the Tucker tribe. (To be continued......)
