Chapter Seventy-Six: The Last Resident

Stone after stone swept past the view, and the creature was darling from stone to stone.

It was literally galloping, like Lynn's astrologer, and it quickly jumped and moved from stone to stone.

It seems to have become very adept at this type of locomotion, occasionally seeing its own body from its perspective, and Lynn found that it was mainly used as a combination of four pairs of limbs when moving.

Now Lynn knew that the creature had four pairs of limbs, each with three 'fingers' at the end and sharp claws that could be retracted, each of which was identical, with no big differences, and that in the previous cave it relied mainly on the last pair of limbs to walk, but now it uses all of them.

These limbs are very helpful in grasping the rocks around it, and the layer it wears seems to keep it warm and maintain a certain amount of air.

But its air storage capacity didn't seem to be ideal, and Lynn felt the creature's emotions full of tension, and it was worried about running out of gas, so it had to rush to its target as fast as possible.

That's where Lynn is now...... How on earth did it break down its corpse and put its head in the ice when it came here? That's interesting......

And Lynn was more concerned about where it came from.

Lynn thinks that the creature must not have lived here in the first place, but on top of some kind of tumbler with air and a nice environment, and then it came here for some unknown reason, and dug a hole in the stone to retain the air inside.

It uses microbes or something to keep the air going, and Lynn thinks its muscles are weak mainly because of the low gravitational environment.

The creature also has a very long tail, which is useless in a gravitational environment. However, the gravitational environment can keep its massive body balanced.

So Lynn was sure it was from some other tumbling person. Where is it? Is it the month? They spoil the environment of the month. Did you flee here?

Or is it from somewhere else? The red tumbler that is now circling the moon?

There was no air on it, and it felt a lot worse than the moon, but it seemed to prove the creature's previous sense of hopelessness, and its thoughts said 'there's only one left'.

Maybe it's the only one left in the whole group......

And, how on earth did it get here? It can't be a jump, can they also make a flying object like a Leviathan?

However, there was nothing like it in the vicinity, and no wreckage or anything was found, and they didn't look like a division of labor. Lynn thinks the creature is like a personality creature, so how did they come together in this structure?

Maybe follow it and find out.

It jumped through the meteorite swarm for a while, and finally, a large stone appeared in its view.

It jumped up and looked around, and found a rock protruding, and then it pulled out a strange object and stuck it into the top of the rock.

Lynn saw the stone move, then moved away, and a passage appeared under the rock.

The passage was more than a meter in diameter, and the creature was tightening its body, and it seemed a little difficult to get into. After its body was fully drilled in, Lynn heard a small voice, "Da-da-da-da." ”

It seems to be their language. It sounded like 'da', but Lynn knew it meant the rocks behind it were locked up.

This creature seems to be very good at making this kind of mechanism.

Then there was a sound in the passage, which seemed to fill with air, and the creature removed the hood from its head.

After a few moments of drilling through the passage, the ice-like door appeared, and as before, the door opened automatically.

Sure enough, this passage is the one that Lin found before, but Lin just smashed the stone and the door to enter......

After entering the cave inside, Lynn saw ...... A complicated place.

There were quite a few strange things here, and the ground was covered with plant-like things, which opened like petals and had a pale blue surface.

Underneath these plant-like things are a one-meter block that seems to grow on top of the block, and the block itself is fixed to the ground.

Are they using this plant to make air?

The creature ignored the plants and walked towards the cavern, where it could see a lot of strange things, such as a large white square on the rock wall, and something transparent like a jar floating here and there, filled with liquid.

Lynn estimated that it was water, and there were many other things she didn't recognize, and it was usually white......

Why didn't Lynn find any of the many things when she was digging? It's all gone?

It took off its gear and walked to the corner of the cavern, where a strange square object floated with dense protrusions on its surface, and it reached out and pressed one of the protrusions on it.

'Beep'. Lynn heard a voice.

In the next moment, the place suddenly lit up, and the perspective turned, and Lynn saw that the white square on the rock wall had changed color, and a ...... appeared on it Image?

It's not quite an image, though, it's an almost all-black color with a lot of white symbols on it.

'Da'. The creature pressed the protrusion on the previous piece again, and a symbol instantly appeared on the image.

Can it work like this? That's a lot of fun......

The creature pressed the protrusions quickly, and the symbols on them kept increasing, and Lynn thought it was acting as 'writing words', and the symbols on them were their words.

And what it's doing now...... It seems to be recording some information, but it is more of a meaningless 'moan' than a recording of information.

Lynn was able to pick up some of its ideas from its thoughts, and translate them into familiar meanings.

'Loaded with explosive bombs. ''There's nothing to do, nowhere to go.'' ''I'm going to die. I was abandoned by them. ''They're all dead, and I'm the only one left.'' ’

Most of the things it recorded were these things, and the creature felt quite hopeless.

Then, it jotted down the last line of the message: 'I can't do it either.' ’

The last time it clicked, the large number of symbols on the rock wall disappeared in an instant, and it turned back into the original whiteboard.

Lynn thinks it works...... It may have something to do with electric current.

Next, the creature walked to the other corner of the room and pulled out a strange cylinder with a thread attached to it.

It pressed the larger 'head' of the cylinder to its skin before opening the whiteboard......

At this point, the outline of its entire body is shown on the whiteboard, and a 'beep' sound is heard, and the image begins to change, followed by a spiked orb appearing.

The orb Lynn recognized it, it was the kind of virus that infected the creature, and there was a whole bunch of text around it, which seemed to introduce the properties of the virus.

Lynn now basically guessed what was going on with it, and sure enough, it was desperate because her companion had died and she was trapped here.

Its companion may have died from the infection, and now it is the only one left, and then it itself is infected......

It was basically looking at this screen in a daze now, and then it pressed it casually a few times, and another strange thing appeared on the screen, it looked like a conical object, and there were many various parts and other things on it.

From its thoughts, Lynn knew that it was something like their 'flying object', and there was a line of symbols underneath it, which meant: What object is not enough to make.

I see, and sure enough, it's stuck here and can't leave.

What intrigued Lin even more was the things it said it used, which Lin had never seen before, and Lin was initially surprised by their appearance, before Lin thought that if something could fly out of the tumbling people, it would definitely be similar to the creators...... Or the creatures of the Inca swarm.

And not this personality creature......

In the past, Lynn thought that personality creatures couldn't piece together something too complex.

Just as the chitins of the Leviathan require very delicate manipulation to be pieced together, Lynn usually uses a mixture of multiple chitinous fragments, a large number of extremely fine fragments are pieced together little by little, and a special adhesive method is used to create them.

The chitinous material was able to resist the extreme heat and the impact of the tumbling block, and Lynn's muscles took advantage of newer, high-toughness structures, but the Pathfinder's shell was actually the strongest, continuously drilling through the hard rock formations underground.

Because the ability of individual creatures to combine is limited by the size of their limbs, it is impossible to perform small operations.

…… But......

Lynn felt that there were other ways to put it together, such as the White Skeleton Dragon's use of dissolution to create metalwork......

I see, because the size of the limbs is limited, so they will use methods such as high-temperature dissolution to synthesize things, and in this way, they can not be restricted, they only need to turn objects into liquid states and then combine them.

And this should be just the basics, and later on Lin felt that they could mix in a lot of things, or use things like pressure to strengthen various aspects of the craft.

If you think in this direction, Lynn can come up with a lot of ways to make it, and the fuel can be made in a similar way, so that if the creatures use something else, they won't be limited by the size of their limbs.

As long as there is time, there is complexity.

Although the synthesis method is still different from Lynn's, the effect is ...... Seems not bad. (To be continued......)
