Chapter 52: Defending the Army

In a world where millimeters can also be called giants, a small war is unfolding.

After a period of preparation, Lynn gathered the Pioneer cells and mini-units scattered on the ground, and these cells merged into larger mini-units.

And this miniature team is now in action.

They are collectively referred to as 'infestation' by Lynn, but the species are different, mostly ant and spider forms, and Lin feels that the insect form is the closest to 'perfect', whether it is fighting, running, lurking, and almost all kinds of things can be perfectly adapted.

The miniature team jumped between boulder dust, targeting the nearest crystal lizard, a centimeter-tall creature that now looked like an incomparable peak, its shimmering crystalline body fiddling with something unknown beneath the wall.

Lynn's infestation approached its crystal-covered tail.

Lynn wasn't sure if it had a tail function, but it did protrude from the back of the lizard like a tail, and when you got closer, the tail looked like a towering cliff from a microscopic perspective.

Lynn's troops slowly climbed up its tail, a little more cautious as it was the first time they approached the creature.

Its tail is not smooth, and there are many small protrusions around it, making it feel like you have come to a crystallized cave.

Lynn, though, hadn't seen any entrances to get into, and it wasn't like the usual creatures that had pores or blowholes or anything like that.

Lynn found it to have a peculiar structure, and Lynn had several infecters collect some debris from its surface and analyze the substance. Lynn found that there were some metal-like ingredients. It's not like crystals on pompoms.

It may not be able to find any entrance to its whole body. The hole at the top of her head was out, but Lynn didn't feel the need to climb up and tried to get into a hole here.

Thinking about it, Lynn had a few infestation begin to make holes in the ground, the epidermis of the tail of the crystal lizard, and these infecters were equipped with large jaws with powerful ejections, as long as they were opened to the limit and then merged again......

'Smack! With a small sound, a large amount of debris flew up. A crack was cut in the lizard's skin......

They began to grow the rift as if they were digging a cave, and Lynn made the cave bigger and bigger, and Lynn noticed that the lizard didn't seem to feel it.

'Smack! The infector bit hard again, and a large amount of debris flew up, and Lynn saw the structure behind the crystalline skin, which looked like ...... Jelly?

From the outside, the subepidermal structure of the crystal lizard looks somewhat like the 'jelly' inside the body of a starfish, but this is black. Starfish are white because they are viscous and gelatinous. So it doesn't gush out like blood.

What is this sound?

Lynn suddenly heard a lot of small sounds coming from all around.

Around the Infect's troops, a number of small 'creatures' appeared, all of which were completely black and had a metallic sheen.

The size is about the same size as Lynn's class, and Lynn's infect is made up of tens of thousands of cells, and these things, Lin thinks they have no cells at all.

They are shaped like sea urchins and have spikes all over their bodies, but these spikes have a joint on them, so they can bend and run with their spines.

Doesn't that feel amazing...... They were so small that they seemed to react to the wounds that Lin had made here, and the moment they found out about Lin's troops, they all rushed up......

And Lynn's troops also launched a counterattack.

'Smack! One of the sea urchins was bitten by the infestation's jaws, and all its thorns stabbed at the infected, killing both of them in an instant.

These tiny black sea urchins have a metal-like structure, and their sharp spines can penetrate Lynn's troops, and as long as they fight together, almost always one side is bitten and the other side is pierced......

So, Lynn used a different approach.

Most of the infecters in front of them begin to harden their bodies rapidly, accumulating large amounts of material on the epidermis in a short period of time and hardening them, making it impossible for sea urchins to pierce them.

'Bang! Some of the infestations in the back bombarded it.

The arachnids sprayed a miniature explosive bomb from their mouths, which stuck to the target's body in large numbers and exploded, and with this subtle roar, many sea urchins that were still attacking the hardened target were suddenly blown away, and many of their spines were also detached from the impact.

Some infestations spew out slime, sticking the sea urchins that rushed at a distance and couldn't move.

However, the sea urchins grew in number, and they poured out of the surroundings in large numbers, encircling Lynn's infestation forces, and Lynn had the ranged attacking troops lean against each other to face the enemy forces from all sides, while the hardened troops defended the perimeter.

At the same time, the surrounding sea urchins are attacking again, and a new round of war is about to ......

'Boom! ’

A giant object falling from the sky interrupts the war.

The object was like an upside-down mountain, and it streaked across the ground at high speed, and countless sea urchins were catapulted into the sky by it, or crushed into pieces by it.

But in fact, it was the crystal lizard that turned around and scratched its tail with its fingers, and it seemed that it was hitting too hard here, so did it feel itchy?

But it seemed to have the opposite effect, as a large number of sea urchins flew out under its scratch, and the army that had surrounded Lin was reduced by more than half in a matter of seconds, and the surrounding troops continued to be knocked out by its fingers.

It never hit the location of the Infected's troops, and Lynn took advantage of the opportunity to have some of the Infectors inject a large number of mini-units into the rift they had just created.

These amoeba-like classes are made up of single cells, larger than normal cells, highly mobile, and most importantly able to move without relying on water, which Lynn can use to detect non-cellular structures and even creatures that have no water in their bodies.

A large number of units were placed in the rift and began to move in the space resembling black jelly within the lizard's body.

But just as they were about to disperse to explore, Lynn found them surrounded.

These seem to be the defense system in the body, and they look exactly like the sea urchins on the outside, but they are smaller, only one thousandth of the outside, which is exactly the same size as the cells.

It seems that the defense system of this creature ...... Very comprehensive. (To be continued......)
