Chapter 51: Durmstrang

Dumbledore applauded as the woman descended the steps and stood in front of the waiting students looking at them with her eyes open.

The students woke up from a dream and slapped their hands.

The woman smiled gracefully, and she stretched out a hand with many precious gems and walked towards Dumbledore.

"She looks so tall!" Harry recovered from the shock.

Tom nodded enviously.

If he could grow as high as a woman's elbow, he would be satisfied.

"Maybe it's faster to dream. Malfoy scoffed, looking Tom up and down mockingly, "Dwarf Cooper." ”

He shouldn't have just made a sound, right?

Tom was puzzled and ashamed.

"Just look at your face and know what you're thinking. Malfoy crossed his arms and looked away, "Slytherin is the only one you and Potter who know best, everything is written on your face." ”

Tom subconsciously touched his face.

"Don't take Malfoy's. Harry noticed what was going on on Tom's side and glared at Malfoy, "At least I can't see what you're thinking. ”

How does that sound even more sad?

Tom decided not to bother with Malfoy and continued to pay attention to the Beauxbatons delegation.

"Dear Madame Maxim," Dumbledore said aloud, "welcome to Hogwarts. ”

"Dumbledore. Madame Maxim said in a deep voice, "I hope you are well." ”

"Very good, thank you. Dumbledore said with a smile.

Madame Maxim waved her large hand behind her casually: "These are my students. ”

Tom noticed that about twelve or thirteen students had already disembarked from the carriage and stood in the great shadow cast behind Madame Maxime.

Judging from the appearance of these students, they are all about eighteen or nineteen years old.

They wrapped their heads in turbans or scarves, and each one trembled slightly.

Tom couldn't help but stomp his foot again.

It was already completely dark and the temperature outside the castle was low.

The Beauxbatons students wore only elaborate robes made of silk, not even cloaks.

Tom looked at them, and only felt as if he was getting a little cold again.

Dumbledore invited the shivering Beauxbatons delegation into the castle.

"When is Durmstrang's delegation coming?" Harry rubbed his arms together.

"I don't know. Tom shook his head, "Hopefully they'll be there soon, I feel my hands start to freeze." ”

They began to stare at the sky and said nothing.

Suddenly, in the silence, a strange voice sounded.

"Did you hear anything?" asked Harry.

Tom nodded, listening with his ears pricked up.

A suppressed rumble and sucking sound wafted towards them from the darkness.

"Could it be Durmstrang?"

Tom heard a student ask.

The strange sound got closer and closer, and they quickly found the source of the sound.

"Black Lagoon?"

"Could it be that Mudstrong is from the Black Lake?"

......

"Wow"

In the dark waters of the lake, huge splashes and swelling waves crashed against the lawn on the shore.

A huge whirlpool suddenly appeared in the middle of the lake, and a thick mast peeked out from under the lake.

"Wow!" the students let out an uncontrollable exclamation as they took several steps back in unison.

This is quite sensible.

When a huge, imposing ship was fully out of the water, the splash was already pouring down from the lawn.

On the big ship, a boy in a heavy fur cloak threw down an iron anchor and erected a plank.

The boat was led by a man in a silver-white fur cloak.

"Dumbledore!" the man cried enthusiastically, "my dear old fellow, are you alright?"

"Excellent," Dumbledore smiled as he walked through a passage out of the way for the students, "thank you, Professor Karkaroff. ”

As they spoke, they walked towards the castle

On the way, Karkaroff asked one of his students to come forward, which caused a commotion among the Hogwarts students.

"Look!" Harry tugged at Tom's cloak, and when Tom was just pulling it in, he simply poked Tom's arm, "Look!

Tom withdrew his gaze from Karkaroff and asked with some confusion, "Who?"

"Krum!" Harry couldn't hide his excitement, his body stopped shaking in an instant, his hands stopped frozen, and his eyes seemed to be shining with stars.

Tom looked around and saw that almost everyone was acting like Harry, and even the Slytherins, who had always been reserved and calm, were excited.

"So, who is Krum?" Tom looked blank, "He's famous?"

Based on the students' performance, it seems to be no different from how Muggles meet stars.

"This is Krum!" Harry looked incredulous, "the Seeker of the Bulgarian Quidditch team!"

"I see. Tom nodded calmly and followed the crowd towards the castle.

Harry was stunned for a moment, and hurriedly followed.

The students of Hogwarts sat down at their long tables, fumbling their cloaks and pockets, as if looking for something.

Beauxbatons students paused for a moment at the entrance to the foyer and sat down at the Ravenclaw table.

But the students at Hogwarts were still restless, all twisting their necks and staring at the Durmstrang students who were still in the foyer—Victor Klum, to be exact.

Malfoy whispered to the Slytherins to move their positions, but within a few moments, there was enough space at the Slytherin table.

Durmstrang's students, led by Victor Krum, sat down at the Slytherin table.

A sigh of regret rang out in the auditorium.

The high-profile Krum sat between Malfoy and Harry.

Tom watched as Harry, who had been quite normal, trembled as if he had goat epilepsy as soon as Krum sat down.

As a "newcomer" to the wizarding world, Tom had no idea what Krum was like in the eyes of a young wizard.

He calmly stabbed Harry with his elbow, signaling him to calm down.

"Good evening!" Dumbledore said with a smile from the faculty seat, "Ladies, gentlemen, ghosts, and our dignitaries—"

The students listened intently as Dumbledore said his welcome.

"The Triwizard Tournament will officially begin after the feast," Dumbledore said, "and for now, please eat and drink as if you were in your own home." ”

The auditorium resounded with enthusiastic cheers.

Now, in addition to Beauxbatons and Durmstrang, a different dinner from the past, and the Triwizard Tournament can be discussed.
