Chapter 56: Where Did the Kurot Cards Go?
It dodges left and right, always looking at the first few seconds of being seen, successfully avoiding the comer, and scurrying towards a place where no one is around.
Tom was determined to catch the Corot card.
Seeing that the escape route of the Kuro cards became more and more familiar, Tom's heart tightened.
Isn't that the route back to the Slytherin Lounge?
What the Kuro card is trying to do!
Just as Kuro was about to run to the door of the Slytherin common room, the door to the common room suddenly opened.
Tom ducked into the shadows.
If your classmates find out that there are two Toms, you will suffer.
"Tom, I was going to look for you!"
Tom heard Harry's voice appear at the door of the common room.
He poked his head out cautiously and saw himself take Harry's arm, tilt his head slightly, and smile sweetly at Harry.
"What are you looking for me to do?"
It's over!
Tom patted his head.
How can the Kuro card even sound exactly like himself!
Also, what kind of thing was it, he had never done such an intimate gesture to Harry.
Fortunately, Harry also looked unacceptable, and he pushed Tom's hand away, touched his arm, and shook his whole body.
"I heard that something happened in the auditorium, I don't think you have come back yet, and I'm worried that something happened to you too. Harry replied with a frown.
"Whew-"
Tom, hiding in the shadows, wiped the beads of sweat that didn't exist on his forehead.
It's Harry, and it's reliable.
If only Harry could find out that something was wrong with "himself".
As long as Harry realizes that "Tom" in front of him is different from his usual and sends "Tom" to the school infirmary, Tom will be able to quietly solve the Kuro card while Madam Pomfrey is resting at night.
However, things didn't go the way Tom had imagined, and his good friend Harry apparently just thought that Tom was a little weird in front of him and didn't take it to heart.
"Someone seems to have blocked the auditorium. "Tom" persistently continued to reach out to Harry, and the whole person was almost attached to Harry, "I was just about to call you to go and have a look, maybe someone doesn't want the Triwizard Tournament to go smoothly." β
Tom's eyes were dropping when he saw it.
Merlin's socks!
He would never make such a shy move, okay!
This looks simply disgusting!
Tom's goosebumps rose all over his body, and the anger in his heart grew.
What a terrible character this Kulo card is, how can this be!
"Harry, my brother, please push it away!
Tom cried out silently.
Harry, perhaps sensing the voice of his best friend, took a few steps to the side, distancing himself from Tom.
"Talk, talk, what are you going to do!" Harry clasped his hands to his chest, looking quite frightened, "Let's go, you lead the way, let's go to the Great Hall together." β
Kuro winked in Tom's direction and lifted his foot to lean over Harry.
Harry reached out and avoided it, "You can be normal, Tom, this scares me." β
"Huh!" the door to the lounge opened again, and Malfoy's proud figure appeared in Tom's sight, "So you're out to flirt with Cooper!"
Tom felt a deep despair welling up in his heart.
"Don't talk nonsense!" Harry jumped away, "Tom and I are in normal communication. β
No, that's obviously not normal, Harry!
Tom's feet are on the move, and he even wants to rush up and confess everything.
As if he didn't like the scene being chaotic enough, the Kuro card next to Harry took the initiative to lean over again, leaning on it and saying, "yes, we're just communicating normally." β
Malfoy's skeptical look added to Tom's anger at the Kurot card not far away.
Malfoy curled the corners of his lips: "You said you were going to see the Great Hall, if I'm not mistaken, it's curfew time soon, I advise you to give up on this idea, Slytherin has never lost points for visiting the castle at night." β
Not really.
Tom said in his heart that Slytherin was only locked up for night travel.
Harry smiled awkwardly, glanced at Tom, and pulled Tom back to the common room with Malfoy.
Tom slapped the wall hard: "Kulo you are out! You are in the lounge, how am I going to go back!"
And Tom was very worried that under his own secret peeping, the Kuro cards would be able to make such an unreasonable move, and if they were not under his nose, the Kuro cards would not make even more terrible actions, he was completely unsure.
"Whenβwhenβ"
The bell rings to indicate that it is curfew time, and Tom is worried about what to do.
"Tom?" said Rubellos, who came out of Tom's back, "why are you still here?"
"Rubelos!" said Tom, as if he had seen a savior, and pounced on him, babbling everything he had done.
"That's easy!" it was Koubelos, and Tom had just finished speaking before he thought of a solution.
"Based on your description, I already know what a Kuro card it is. "But because of its peculiarity, I can't tell you its identity directly, you have to guess it yourself." β
"As long as I guess it?" asked Tom anxiously.
He couldn't imagine what terrible things could happen in his bedroom.
Rubelos nodded calmly.
"But I'm going to be suspicious if I just go in like this, right?" Tom touched his chin with one hand and walked back and forth down the hallway with his head down.
"Do you have all the Coolo cards with you?" asked Rubelos suddenly.
Tom immediately took out all the sealed Kuro cards from his pocket: "Except for the 'ingot' card, which I took to lock the chest, everything else is here." β
Rubelos stretched out a paw and tapped one of Tom's Kuro cards.
"Didn't you want to try this card before? It didn't work as well as you wanted, but it was enough for a few small things. β
Tom drew the Korot card that Korubelos had lit.
On this Kulo card is a long-haired old man wearing a hood and holding an hourglass.
"'When'?"
"Yes. Rubelos flicked his tail, "Don't forget, you're a wizard and a magician!"
Tom's eyes lit up, and his golden pupils sparkled like two little suns.
"I got it!" he immediately pulled the key from his neck, "Break the seal!"
A magic circle glowing with dazzling light lit up at Tom's feet, illuminating the entire hallway.
