Chapter 1: A New War
On this day, Richard, Reilly, and his followers gathered in the Grand Chamber of the Black Rose Castle. On the table were several maps showing the four planes owned by Richard Richard: Faro, Midori, Huland, and Tutland.
Richard pointed to Hulan's map and said, "Let's take a look here." β
Seeing his choice, a female knight raised an eyebrow, seemingly surprised. She is one of the thirteen Gordon Constructed Knights, and her name is Semar. Before leaving for the Rogie plane, Gordon left her behind in Hulan.
After arranging their affairs, Richard and Reilly studied the map in the war room, asking Semir about the situation at Hulan from time to time.
It was a very peculiar plane, with a total continent of less than a million square kilometers, surrounded by oceans. Such a small place is more of an island than a continent. Its two ends are slender and the middle is wide, the terrain is low in the south and high in the north, and the northernmost is a snow-capped mountain with an altitude of more than 10,000 meters.
Gordon's foothold was at the southernmost tip of the Huland plane, and after more than a decade of conquest, it expanded to two-fifths of the entire continent. The natives here are fierce, and they hold off Gordon's troops with a weed mark that stretches across the middle of the continent, and they start a fierce tug-of-war here. The battle lasted three months, and the natives crushed half of Gordon's army at three times the cost of casualties, forcing him to halt his advance here.
Richard and Reilly analyzed the situation in the four planes together, and finally chose Hulan.
"Of any plane where carbon-based organisms are born, the ocean is the richest place for biological resources. But there is no life in the ocean of Hulan, and even seaweed cannot be found, which is unusual. Reilly said with a serious face.
"So, do you think this situation is man-made?" asked Richard.
"Quite possibly. Reilly pointed to the 10,000-meter peak at the northern end of Hulan and said, "Do you see this peak? As far as I know, the continent that can produce a peak of 10,000 meters must be at least 50 million square kilometers. β
Richard frowned and said, "But the area of the entire Hulan is less than a million square kilometers. β
"There are two possibilities. Reilly held up two fingers and said, "One, this peak called the "Nest of the Gods" by the Hulan people is a man-made creation, and two, there was an earth-shattering war in this plane, which destroyed the original continent. β
"If so, Hulan's value is immeasurable. Richard said excitedly.
"So, how many troops are you going to send out?"
"All the followers, plus a hundred Constructed Knights and all the elite Darkblade Knights. Richard said with a firm face: "Although Hulan is small, he has a very powerful power system, and the strongest person here has reached the legendary level, and there is more than one. The Huran people's magical civilization is quite developed, but their highest achievement is not the magic pattern construction, but the totem similar to Carando, and the warrior with the totem pattern on his body is obviously stronger than the others. β
The Darkblade Knights are elite units produced by the brood, and although they retain the appearance of humans, they are actually biological weapons made from orcs.
The strength of these knights has reached level twelve, their bodies are covered with hard carapaces, and they also have fine-grade chain mail and plate armor on their bodies, and their defensive power has surpassed that of ordinary constructed knights.
In addition to this, Richard also equipped the Knight of the Darkblade with a level 12 magic horse. In this way, their combat power reached the level of the bear knights of the Schumpeter family.
Due to the superiority of physical structure, the thirteenth-level elite Darkblade Knight is completely comparable to the fourteenth-level human knight.
"Yo, you've made a lot of money. Reilly said playfully.
Hulan's development is very low, and the cost of teleporting a person is as high as 30,000 gold coins. Richard now has 400 elite Darkblade Knights stationed in the Black Rose Castle, and counting the Constructed Knights and Followers, he will have to pay more than 15 million teleportation fees.
In fact, Richard himself was depressed. After returning from the Peerless Battlefield, he offered a large number of sacrifices to the Eternal Dragon, but there was no option to strengthen the dimensional passage. Perhaps this is the characteristic of the Dragon Sacrifice of Eternity and Time, which always gives you what you want, but not what you urgently need. So you go looking for more offerings and go further and further down the road.
A day later, Richard's troops were finally ready and marched into the Hulan plane.
Semir is the first to walk out of the portal, which shows how different she is from Lina. The Blood Paladin's mind is delicate, but the Dragon Mage is often confused, so much so that Richard almost suffered a big loss when he first entered the Green Forest Plane.
The portal of the Huran plane was built in a large hall, and it was neither grand nor luxurious, and it was not even the most basic decoration, and it would not be an exaggeration to say that it was shabby. Seeing the small teleportation hall, Reilly knew that Gordon had no intention of investing in the dimensional passage. This shows how embarrassed Akmund was at that time.
Moments later, Triple Ripe emerged from the portal, and the Ogre Tyrant stretched before crashing into the roof, opening a gaping hole in the ceiling.
"Huh, why is it suddenly dark?"
The ogre raised his hand and touched his head, only to crash into another beam.
"If I'm not mistaken, the next one should be tiramisu......" Reilly said thoughtfully.
Before he could finish speaking, the two-headed ogre emerged from the portal, and a large hole was opened in the top of the teleportation hall, and the two ogres looked at each other on the beams.
Reilly and the others were speechless.
Tiramisu's height has long exceeded four meters, and he is about to "run five". This teleportation hall is not even four meters, and of course it can't accommodate them.
"How do they get out? Shrink?" asked Reilly.
"Don't bother. β
Richard walked to the door and said to the guards guarding there, "Call some people over and tear down this teleportation hall." β
The guards were stunned, and for a moment they couldn't figure out why the good hall was demolished, and they didn't know Richard. The warriors who have been stationed in the Huland plane all year round have no chance to go to Norland at all, and certainly will not know who Richard is.
"Why do you want to tear it down?" asked Semir, confused.
"It's too small. This place has to be expanded, or how can I get my army through? Tear it down and build a new one. As soon as Richard spoke, he decided the fate of the teleportation hall and the surrounding buildings.
"To be rich is to be capricious. Reilly said with a smile.
Three-minute and tiramisu rushed out cheering, knocking both walls down in an instant. The teleportation hall wasn't particularly sturdy, it was almost papier-mΓ’chΓ© in front of the two ogres, and in less than two minutes it was a pile of ruins.
