Chat after the end of the first volume
I thought I would be able to finish writing at noon, but it turned out that once the waves rose, they couldn't stop rushing......
Although it was still a day at home, it felt good.
The reason why I have to deliberately arrange a day off is because the human brain is very interesting, if I write every day, the same for a month, whether it is a thousand words a day, or 6,000 words a day, as long as I think it is a working day, then the brain will think that it has been working and has been tired.
But as long as you give yourself a day off and don't do anything for a day, your brain will decide that a thorough rest will eliminate great fatigue.
That's why I'm taking a day off.
Of course, this is just the basics.
At a higher level, the new definition is to be able to relax and rest for a short period of time.
A higher definition is to jump out of the definition of "rest and work" and use a better word to make rest and work not conflict. This is easy to say, but hard to do, I tried, failed.
Of course, I will continue to try.
Ahem, don't talk about that, tell the story.
Because it hasn't ended yet, I can't say much, I can only say part of it.
One.
The main problem in the first volume is the question of "the balance between the author's expression and the reader's needs", which I have been thinking about.
Actually, I was hesitant when I first wrote it.
First of all, I want to be clear that everything I write in the book is not beyond the scope of writing, that is, any way of writing is allowed.
Human beings do not create words and express words in order to "necessarily follow a certain pattern", and if so, art and culture are dead. Even itself is constantly evolving.
It's just that some are more artistic and some are more reasonable, some are more interesting and some are more boring, some are more ornamental and some are more prosaic.
I know some people will hate some of the methods that keep coming up in the text, some of the long stories.
As long as it is not a swear-threatening threat, readers have unlimited right to comment.
But I don't make up my mind, because I can't think about it from a single angle, but simply from two angles.
First, from the perspective of some readers, the market, and the technique, the content is too boring and redundant, and there is a big shortcoming.
Of course, there are bound to be readers who will like it.
The second point of view is that grades and income are important, and viewing and fun are important, but at some point, it is more important to express my intentions and those of the characters in the book in more detail.
I don't think the two perspectives are opposites, but there are not many books that can really make the two blend perfectly.
Even those world classics.
The reason is very simple, whether it is the pursuit of artistry or marketization, many words and many things cannot be said in detail, which leads to the fact that no matter how great a work of art is, it is difficult for the public to understand it. It is not understood by the public, and it does not affect the value, but it affects the effect.
Even, a large number of ancient and modern Chinese and foreign interpretations have caused disputes, and it is impossible for readers to fully understand the author's intentions unless the author says it directly.
However, I want to make it clear, so there are a lot of things in this book that people feel that they are not artistic enough, not interesting enough, and not enjoyable enough.
I can't say right or wrong.
If I think it is wrong, it is equivalent to giving up a direction, giving up the possibility of being better in that direction, and maybe even giving up a future. The road is narrow, and it may be to close yourself.
I can't think it's right, and if I think it's right, it's bound to form a force that hinders my progress and makes me ignore another angle.
Life is a process of trying, I tried, and after sorting and summarizing, I will definitely be able to do better next time.
So, I'm just defining the impact of this writing as "feedback".
In my language system and life system, feedback is very neutral, but the effect is positive, because it is very simple, any feedback can make me improve.
Two.
My initial impulse to write this book was to "share", not to "preach".
When I wrote the end of the first volume, I thought about it for a long time when I wrote, "Those who lift themselves to a high place also reserve the distance for falling."
This sentence is not actually what I want to express, just say, dispensable, because there is enough else to say.
However, for me personally, this sentence is important and makes me break out in a cold sweat on my back.
I've been a fool since I was a kid, and I can even say stupid, yes, stupid.
I also said in my testimonial on the shelf that I feel that my brain has only completed development in the past two years.
Look, I've scolded myself like this, and I don't protect myself at all, so the above doesn't say right or wrong, it's not a quibble (manual squint).
I've always been afraid of people praising me too much.
Because I think I'm so ordinary, whether it's myself or someone else, who holds me up too high, and once I fall, it's going to be miserable.
So, I recently gave myself a new definition of identity, the student.
The previous definition was a lifelong learner, and I think the old definition was a little bit arrogant.
Many people in their thirties may feel awkward, but when I put myself in this position, I suddenly felt very relaxed.
In this way, I can not care about the affirmation or denial of others, and I will not overreact to other people's accusations and attacks, which will inevitably make me more humble, anyway, I am a student, what am I afraid of?
Of course, this is my recent definition of identity, and it's not good enough, but it's already paying off.
So, will a student go to "preach"? No.
I'm really just sharing.
But what's even more wonderful is that I originally thought that this book was just my personal sharing, but after constructing the preliminary world, I found that the words and deeds of "Su Ye" were beyond my control.
In other words, I do control a lot of things in the book, but when I write, there are often more things than I expected.
This world, called "World of the Gods", was not built by me alone, but by me and the characters in it, even the readers.
So, it's not me preaching, it's not even me sharing, it's the characters in the book who borrow my hand to show themselves more clearly.
I was never arrogant enough to think I could "preach".
A few days ago, I was discussing with an author friend in the author group, and the two sides had different views, of course, just a discussion, not an argument.
He said he thinks people can't be convinced.
As a result, my first reaction was that I was always persuaded by better theories and ideas.
Or rather, it wasn't so much that I was persuaded, but that I embraced a different perspective.
Because I'm still a student, I'm reckless, sometimes irritable, often making mistakes, often impulsive, and a lot of the content in the book needs to be improved, please bear with me.
Please also don't threaten to take tickets in the future, or threaten to unsubscribe with abandoned books, except for joking, of course.
If you have any grievances, convince me, or rather, help me open up another angle. (Manual squint smiling)
Three
I...... Sure enough, it's just chatting, talking about everything.
After thinking about it, forget it, love what's the matter.
It's good, it's not high, it's not low, and I'm not afraid of falling.
Four.
Always be vigilant against "noble" and "cheap", and always be vigilant against "respect" and "inferiority".
Five.
Some readers have been asking me to recommend books before, and I have promised to take this opportunity to talk about it briefly.
In fact, the books I have read in the past two years are quite miscellaneous, and some of them are actually ...... It doesn't mean much, or it doesn't work for anyone.
For example, I read more than 20 books on speed reading tips in a month, and guess what I came to in the end?
Books that are "completely" fast reading are of very low value, and they are particularly prone to the illusion of knowledge that they know it, understand it themselves, and it turns out to be the same thing, and it turns out to be almost the same, which will make you lose the ability to think deeply.
Any valuable book and content needs to be read and thought about repeatedly.
Of course, low value does not mean useless, fast reading is especially suitable for book selection, and it is also especially suitable for lazy people, such as me most of the time (covering my face).
This time, I'm going to push the book "Self-Management System" that is useful to everyone.
Yes, it is useful for everyone, from children of several years old to the elderly.
The self-management system, in my cognition, is mainly divided into four parts: emotional management, energy management, time management, and knowledge management.
Knowledge management is the most complex and varies from person to person, so I won't go into it.
I just focused on time management at first, but it wasn't until I learned a little judgment that I realized the importance of emotion management and energy management.
Make a list of what you want to do, what you want to do, and what you should do, and then write six items at the end: "ability", "motivation", "emotion", "energy", "time" and "method".
Then judge whether these six factors affect each thing occasionally, or all the time.
As a result, I was surprised to find that for me, mood and energy turned out to be constant influencing factors for me, and no matter what I did, if both of these factors had a huge impact.
Including rest, including playing.
I made the table at the time, which was more intuitive, and then I was shocked.
Abilities, motivations, and methods, sometimes influencing, sometimes not.
Time is a generalized latitude that theoretically influences.
So, obviously, emotion, energy, and time, are the top priorities.
Actually, all three areas are very difficult, and I have been slowly struggling...... No, it's climbing, and every area is a big pit, but I'm climbing in three big pits at the same time.
1. Energy management.
I don't do a good enough job of energy management, and I don't read many books, but I mainly recommend a book called "Energy Management", written by "Jim Loll and Tony Schwartz".
A very popular book that explains all aspects of energy management.
Then there is nutrition, all kinds of fitness, energy management does not need to read too many books, and continuous exercise is the most important.
In this regard, I squatted on the toilet to read today's headlines, and then all kinds of different statements made me mentally ill.
Anyway, the body comes first, and energy management is basically body management. Especially after my tinnitus, the realization is more profound.
2. Time management.
After years of development, the time management system has a clear context and a clear direction, but it often absorbs things from other fields, such as target management and so on.
Three beginner books are mainly recommended.
In the workplace, or time involuntarily, I recommend "Xiaoqiang's Promotion", the author Zou Xiaoqiang, the first person in the field of time management in China, has been deeply involved in the field of time management for many years, and is also the highest-rated book in the field of time management. It's easy to understand, just throw all kinds of methods and just follow them.
This book is useless, you have to do it. In other words, all the books pushed this time are the same, it is useless to just look at them, and they must be followed.
Freelancers, or those who have a lot of self-control time or management, recommend "Illustrated Single-Core Working Method", an artifact, a real artifact. Well, because it's especially for me. This big guy is also the author of "Illustrated Pomodoro Technique", and both books are worth reading.
There is also a book "Just Do It", which is also Zou Xiaoqiang's, mainly to make annual plans, and many of the specific methods in it are very good, the "habit training card", I have used it for two or three years, and I still insist on using it.
In addition to these three, there are many other books.
There is also "A Peculiar Life", which tells the magical experience of the time-recording boss Lyubichev, the real bull, the author is "Granin", and the accompanying guide manual is very important.
I've been recording for half a month using the method inside, huh...... Well...... As a result, I finally saw how messed I was. After reading this book and recording the time for half a month, I feel that my life is clear.
This book can clearly see how big the gap between myself and excellent people is, the intuitive gap of data, really, it's cool.
And, of course, there's the time management classic GTD and the more famous Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.
The latter is a book that I particularly admire, but this one ...... It's not a technique, it's close to a kind of "Tao", and it doesn't feel like much after reading it, but the more you look at it, the less you know, and you need to cooperate with the "RIA Split Calligraphy" reading, which will be introduced later.
Some books in the field of time management or similar fields, such as "Eat That Frog", "Time Investment Method", "The Miracle of Morning Diary", "The Psychology of Procrastination", etc., are all very good. No matter how much you can search on the Internet, there are actually a lot.
3. Emotion management.
This is the biggest pit in the three areas.
In this field, in fact, there are many classifications, and the system is more complicated. Far ahead of the first two, because it is basically a neurological and psychological thing, it is very tiring to learn and it is very difficult to use.
There are too many books in this field, and I am not a professional myself, so I don't dare to say anything good, so I only take out the books that I have read and are "really effective".
First of all, I recommend an introductory book, "Efficient Stress Action", written by "Hendry Wessinger" and "JP Paulie Frey".
It's easy to understand, and there are many specific methods, mixed with scientific explanations.
If you want to know more about emotion management, I recommend reading two books.
One is "Emotions", the author is "Lisa Federman Barrett", a very thick book, which is a relatively new research result, and proposes a "emotion construction theory" that completely subverts my old cognition.
One is Change: Principles of Problem Formation and Resolution. After reading the one above, it will be easier to understand when you read this one.
The above three books are mainly based on psychology, supplemented by neurology. It should be regarded as "the most scientific type of emotion management book".
The concept of "definition" in this book is basically derived from these two books.
Of course, it would be better if I could read "Cognitive Psychology" first, but I didn't even read this book, and I didn't blow it when I was only planning to read it, haha.
After reading these three books, it is highly recommended to take a look at DK Mindfulness and look at ancient meditation from a neurological and psychological perspective, and you will find something particularly interesting.
These books are all very impressive to me, and there are some books that are either shallow and fast reading, or reading notes from other people's mind maps, or the kind of simple listening or sharing, which are not recommended.
There are a lot of such books, as long as you search for them, you will definitely have them.
By the way, there is a concept of emotion management that I think is particularly important called "habitual defense", which can be searched directly on the Internet. The first time I came into contact with this word was Cheng Jia's "Study Well", and I read the relevant content many times, and then encountered many things before I understood this concept, and finally continued to use it, and gradually managed my emotions.
4, finally.
Finally, I solemnly recommend a copy of "Reading Like This", Mr. Zhao Zhou's masterpiece. Also recommended before.
What I didn't finish last time was that this book, it's useless to just read it, there is an RIA reading book in it, and you need to use it constantly to be useful.
And I can't use it myself, so I need to enter a reading club called "Book Demolition Gang" to continue learning and practicing. But this book club tends to ...... Older and young people, hahahaha...... Don't blacken yourself.
Find it yourself, and look for the book demolition gang branches in various places. However, this was originally an offline reading club, and now the epidemic is ...... So it's not too time, if you are willing to learn, search it on the Internet, because this is a loose local organization, and people from different places are suitable to join different cities, and some small cities don't have it, so I can't introduce it.
Basically, this is the practical manual for that particularly famous "Deliberate Practice".
I......
It's 11 p.m., and I'm a little dazed, which proves that my time and energy management still need to be improved.
Actually, there are a lot of recommendations that need to be recommended, but I'm really confused, so I won't say more.
I took a look at the number of words, more than 5,000, plus yesterday's addition, I don't seem to be resting today, I put a lot of words upside down, miserable......
By the way, for learning and growth books, in addition to "It's Enough to Read Like This", two more books are recommended.
One is the famous "Deliberate Practice", if this book has no relevant knowledge, it will be read as a story, all kinds of anti-intuitive and anti-common sense, it is hard to believe, but if you have the knowledge of the three books of emotional management before and then read it, or understand psychology, you will find that this book is too godly.
This book should really be read by every child, and know how the ability is acquired from an early age. No, I'll buy a few more sets and give them to my nephews, nieces, nephews, nieces, nephews......, nieces, nephew
Then there's "The Way of Learning" by "Barbara Oakley."
There are many more books, so I won't talk about them.
In addition, all the books pushed this time have one thing in common, they must be constantly used to explain their own behavior, and they must be used constantly, otherwise they are useless.
