In the process of learning the scriptures, our four masters and apprentices strictly followed the instructions of the Buddha, kept in mind the duties and missions, clarified the division of tasks, climbed mountains and waded through rivers, slashed demons and eliminated demons, and a large number of good people and good deeds and moving deeds that can be sung and cried have emerged. Along the way, there were countless demons, more than 40,000 trapped people were transferred and rescued, 48 monster gathering points were destroyed, and 128 demon kings from all walks of life were reformed and transformed, except for Comrade Bajie, the remaining 3 people successively refused the temptation of all kinds of beauties more than 240 times (of them, more than 200 times in person). The reason why we were able to obtain the true scriptures was mainly due to the careful planning of our Buddha Rulai, the specific guidance of Guanyin Bodhisattva, the strong support of His Majesty King Tang, the careful protection of the three apprentices of Wukong, Wuneng and Wujing, and the active cooperation of all the immortals.

Next, I will report to Your Majesty on the progress of the work of learning from the scriptures.

First, the ideology attaches great importance to it.

Since I parted with the Tang King, I have firmly established the ideological concept of subduing demons and eliminating demons for the people and obtaining the true scriptures to repay the Buddha's kindness, and I have attached great importance to this task. When he was alone, he experienced difficulties such as robbers, wild beasts, serious illness, and bad weather, and the taste was indescribable. But I never gave up in my thoughts, because only by obtaining the true scriptures can we save the common people, and only by obtaining the true scriptures can we become Buddhas. In order to ensure the successful completion of the task of learning scriptures, a leading group was set up with me in charge, the eldest apprentice Sun Wukong as the team leader, the second apprentice Zhu Bajie as the deputy leader, and the third apprentice Sha Seng as the members, and strengthened the organization and leadership of this work.

The second is to accelerate the transformation of the process.

After receiving the task of receiving the scriptures, I began to transform from a small monk who "hit the bell for a day" to a person who learns the scriptures. Not only to transform themselves, but also to transform their apprentices, demons and monsters. The eldest apprentice, Sun Xingzhi, was brutal by nature, born in barren mountains and mountains, did not know the general situation, had a criminal record, once made trouble in the Heavenly Palace, made the Jade Emperor unpeaceful, and also urinated on the hands of the Buddha, which seriously affected the reputation of Buddhism, and it was very difficult to make him change. Under the direct leadership of Guanyin Bodhisattva, I rescued him at the foot of Wuzhi Mountain, recited my Buddha's scriptures to him, made him realize the seriousness of his mistakes, and after my patient persuasion and education and 30 times a day of mantras, he obediently stayed by my side and became my right-hand man. The second apprentice, Zhu Bajie, was once the marshal of the canopy, and had problems with his life style, and was demoted to the lower realm for molesting Chang'e. I took him as a disciple in Gao Laozhuang, and taught him the truth that emptiness is color and color is emptiness. Although there were excesses such as verbal impulsiveness towards individual female comrades on the way, there were no serious consequences. Analyzing the root cause of the problem, it is only because his six roots are not purified and the influence of the outside world is too deep, and besides, he did it behind my back, and I don't know it. The third apprentice, Sha Wujing, was originally a general in the sky, but because of his low work standards, he broke the Jade Emperor's wine cup and was demoted to the quicksand river, and his heart was full of resentment. For the sake of him taking him as a disciple for the sake of eating all the people who learned the scriptures in front of him, he turned from a monster who ate the scriptures to a scripture learner. I also often tell him the truth that he can't get along with the leader to accelerate his transformation.

The third is to work conscientiously and responsibly.

With the attitude that before becoming a Buddha, you must first have a Buddha's mind, and at all times and under all circumstances, you should restrain yourself with the actions of a Buddha. The youkai we killed were just the tip of the iceberg, and many more were persuaded by me to send me back. And I will give them reason, that they may know right from wrong, and that they may be convicted of their sins. (There are too many specific examples, so let's omit them.) Only those who are stubborn or have a hard background are still obsessed for a while, but as a result, those who are obsessed have been eradicated by me, and those with a background have been repatriated to their original owners. To be clear, I haven't touched a single hair of them.

Fourth, rewards and punishments should be strictly implemented.

Without strict discipline, there can be no internal unity, and without clear rewards and punishments, there can be no convincing people. On the way to learn from the scriptures, those who should be rewarded will be rewarded, and those who should be punished must be punished! When you are awarded, you can eat more, drink more, and work less night shifts. When punishing, he must not be merciful, and when he beat the white bone spirit three times, he canceled Sun Wukong's qualification to learn scriptures, just because he is usually too meritorious, and he is suspected of overstepping his bounds. When Bajie broke up, he promptly asked Wukong to teach him a lesson, so that he could realize that it was harmful to unity and health, so that his thoughts and actions could be unified on the common scriptures.

Fifth, we must abide by laws and regulations.

There are too many specific examples of the temptation of money, power, and sex on the way to learn the scriptures, and there are too many to mention. I can keep in mind the instructions and requirements of the Datang Party Committee and the chief, and do not be moved by money, power, and women. A total of 158,654 taels of gold and silver were refused, 76 times were refused, and more than 240 times were rejected as mentioned earlier, of which there were as many as 200 times of refusal in person (some refused at the bedside). Those are all fleeting, not what I need, although it is impossible to say that there is no money on the way to learn the scriptures, but I still insist on living on the fast that I have come. Later, I heard that someone was accepting money and goods in my name, but it was all done without my knowledge, and I didn't know about it. If I find out who it is, I'll deal with it strictly. Especially in the daughter country, His Majesty the King insisted on marrying me, and tempted me with a high-ranking official who had relinquished the throne, but I always kept in mind my duty and mission and dismissed her. Achievements can only represent the past, looking back on the past few years, there are still the following shortcomings:

First, the thinking is too simple. Several times because of listening to the monster's slander, I almost **, especially wrongfully misunderstood Wukong, which caused the Liuer macaque to take the opportunity to enter and almost caused a major accident. I feel that this kind of simple thinking is very harmful. Sometimes, I do not pay attention to the art of leadership, the leadership methods are simple and rude, the bureaucratic mentality is serious, and I am unable to adopt the correct opinions of the masses.

Second, the management is not strict enough. The three apprentices all have some skills, and they often slip thousands of kilometers at a time, which is more difficult to control. Wukong, in particular, often goes to the sky and water to chat with friends, catch up, and sometimes drink heavily. 3 apprentices, on the way also stole the ginseng fruit of the golden cicada's family, Wukong did not pay attention to the overall situation, did not talk about politics, and pulled out the ginseng fruit tree, which seriously affected the relationship between the monks and the people, and destroyed the good image of the person who learned the scriptures. Bajie carried me behind my back to tease the people's girl, but was caught by the Bodhisattva on the spot.

The third is that the memory is not good enough. We took all the scriptures, but we forgot to ask the thousand-year-old turtle in the river about their lifespan, and when crossing the river, the old turtle fooled into the water, resulting in the damage of part of the true scriptures.

The above are a few aspects of my journey to learn the scriptures, and they cannot represent all of them. My achievements are much more than that. By the way, under the command of the poor monks, the four of us have carried out a wide range of practical activities for the people, and have won wide praise from the masses along the way.
