Chapter 111: Diary

(Ask for a monthly pass to fill the façade)

The pamphlet recovered from Theresa's body was a diary written in Western language, which, oddly enough, was not written by the same person.

The first entry in the diary reads:

The teacher called me Lisa, but I knew it wasn't my name because she called everyone Lisa.

For as long as I can remember, I've been living with my teacher for almost four months.

I've had a couple of friends, I mean, I've spoken to them.

But suddenly one day they won't be able to remember anything, as if they've never seen me.

Now I know why, it's all the teacher's doing, maybe she's experimenting with us.

Yesterday I was cleaning the hallway when the short Lisa was taken into the lab by the teacher. That night, she didn't remember me.

I'm scared that one day I'll be like her, sooner or later.

Oh my God, could it be that I've already been experimented with by my teacher, so I only have four months of memory?

Anyway, I stole this notebook from her lab while the teacher wasn't paying attention and wrote it down.

I don't even know why I'm writing this kind of text.

I'll keep the notebook under my pillow, and if one day I forget who I am, maybe I can get some hints from it.

This concludes the first diary, and the second one reads as follows:

I found this booklet under my pillow.

Did I write this stuff? Oh no, no, it's not the same handwriting.

I only remember what happened in three days. Is it really like Lisa said earlier, the teacher did it?

Can anyone tell me. What's outside the forest?

The second diary is over until a dozen or so later. Again, the same handwriting as the first one appeared.

After Downer flipped through the small half of the booklet, he had a general impression.

This is a magic academy built in the forest, this academy has only one teacher, but there are hundreds of students, the teacher's name never appears, but the students are all named Lisa.

Every time Lisa is erased after a while, her memory will be erased, and she can only know her own state of existence through this booklet that has been secretly passed down for many years.

All of them were test subjects of the so-called "teacher". And it seems that this "teacher" has been conducting spiritual experiments.

In the first half of the booklet, there is little clear subject to other than a few messy questions and answers, until a special journal appears.

The diary is very brief and reads as follows:

Didn't anyone think about running away?

No one thought of killing that old witch?

We need a plan.

The handwriting of this diary is very sloppy, and it seems that it was intentional, probably for fear of being recognized.

The next few articles are all quarrels. It can be seen that the Lisa, who later picked up the diary, were very frightened by the idea.

Since then, however, the diary has often contained descriptions of the habits and abilities of the "teacher".

Through these records. Donner sketched out her basics.

The "teacher" is a woman, who looks to be in her fifties and looks ugly (which may have been deliberately ugly by Lisa). Moody and haters men.

She spends most of her day in the lab. Sometimes on a good night, I would stare at the window on the south side.

Once this happens. You have to be careful, because the next day, she will take a Lisa to the lab. Throughout the day, there would be terrible screams in the lab - no one knew what she had done, and the Lisa she had taken with her would either disappear or lose her memory the next day.

Every once in a while, the "teacher" disappears for a while, bringing back some younger Lisa.

If you try to escape during the time she disappears, you will probably be disappointed, because the forest outside is too big for anyone to walk out, and when the "teacher" returns, she can always find Lisa who tries to escape, and they will end badly.

Judging from the description, the "teacher" is supposed to have the ability to control people's minds, but for some reason, she never found this diary, and maybe she didn't think of this possibility at all.

Donner continued to flip back, and the diary kept being filled with additions, and just as that bold suggestion was about to be forgotten, it suddenly took a turn.

The diary entry reads:

I've been sober for three years.

The teacher taught me magic, and she said it was called spiritual magic.

She's not a discovery of conscience, I'm just a more advanced test subject.

It's been almost two years since I found this book, but I've never dared to write anything on it.

Because I'm afraid.

Did you know? "Sensei" is actually a psychic magician, and she can tell you any secrets, including the secrets of this book.

However, I am not scared now.

Because she never saw us as human beings, she didn't care what we were thinking.

I peeked at her lab notes, and it was a strange kind of writing that she taught me before I learned magic.

She's been experimenting with a magic called the Dread Cage on us, because the record of this magic in her magic book is incomplete.

I also knew that she needed this magic to create extreme fear, and that she herself could suck it to increase her strength.

Her experiment had been successful, but the average person had too little endurance to meet the fear she needed before she collapsed and died.

So she needs to train me to be a magician first, so that I can generate the kind of fear she needs.

She's been in a good mood lately, and I know I'm going to meet her criteria right away.

This concludes this journal.

Donner couldn't wait to turn to the next page.

The same handwriting is still on it:

I haven't eaten for three days, I can't walk, I'm probably going to die here.

The old witch doesn't know if she's dead, the fire won't wake her up from her stupor, right?

I finally knew why no one could escape. This forest is full of the other side flower, this small yellow flower that can be used to make the Elixir of Bliss, has a strong hallucinogenic effect on ordinary people.

So, they're all going to die inside.

Then, let's all die together.

Donner saw this, and there was a chill down his spine, and he guessed where the forest was in the diary.

However, this diary entry is still not the last, and there is a thick pile below, and the content of the following records quickly validates Donner's thoughts:

I'm not dead.

It turned out that I had reached the edge of the forest.

A hunter named Joey rescued me, and his granddaughter was named Nina and was lovely.

It was the first time I had seen someone who wasn't named Lisa, and I killed them.

In case the old witch is still alive, I can't leave her a clue.

Joey calls the forest the Whispering Forest, and he says that the forest is inhabited by banshees, and that children who are tricked into them will never come out again, and that banshees also have forgotten magic.

He was not wrong in what he said, the old witch was like a banshee, and we were all children who were deceived by her.

But Joey said that those who can write are aristocrats, are we all children of nobility?

I can't do that anymore, I have to get out of here right now. (To be continued.) )
