Zhiguang said: "The minds of sentient beings are divided into eight types: eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, consciousness, mana, and alayya, which are called 'mental dharma'. The mind has eight kinds of consciousness, which are the aggregation of various 'causes'. These causes come from the actions of the six human bodies of the eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind. At the end of the seventh consciousness, the consciousness persistently thinks that the eighth consciousness is the 'me', and the causes of the previous consciousnesses are continuously collected into various 'mental seeds' and stored in the alayya. ”

There is a saying that the fate of a person after death is determined by the seeds in the alayya, and those who have more white seeds of good go to heaven, and those who have more black seeds of evil go to hell. To be precise, it should be: the 'heart' with many white seeds will show the heavenly appearance, and the 'heart' with many black seeds will show the hellish appearance! ”

With the endless cycle of life and death of all living beings, the 'me' at this moment is formed from the accumulation of the past to the present, and the future development of 'me' is determined by what I do at this moment.
