At the headquarters of the new first regiment, Wang Ping did not expect that the Jin Suijun army would directly send a lieutenant general to negotiate with him.

"Commander Wang, I have been ordered by the commander of the theater to discuss with the devils the matter of replenishing equipment and ammunition for your army and issuing pensions, please report to your superiors immediately and let people come and contact me!"

"It's best if you can come over to Brigade Commander Chen!"

Wang Ping shook his head and replied: "No need, I have the final say in this matter!" ”

Commander Zhang glanced at Wang Ping in surprise, and then a shocked expression appeared on his face.

In his impression, there should be countless regiment commanders like Wang Ping of the Eighth Route Army, and the equipment of millions of oceans and two main divisions is by no means a small number for the Eighth Route Army.

He was very surprised that a regimental commander could call the shots on such an important matter.

At the same time, I also realized that the young and somewhat scary regiment leader in front of him was by no means as simple as he saw on the surface.

Commander Zhang took a deep breath, suppressed the shock in his heart, and replied calmly.

"In that case, let's get started!"

"As far as I know, in the first battle of Linfen, only a new regiment of your army participated in the war!"

"According to the establishment of the new regiment given to you by the Nationalist Government, even if the new regiment reaches full strength and strengthening, the total strength will only be 3,500 people!"

"Therefore, in terms of the issuance of pensions, the war zone only recognizes the regular army establishment and distributes them, and as many people as there are, they will fight as many people as they want!"

"This can also avoid indiscriminate filling, what do you think, Commander Wang?"

Wang Ping replied with a smile on his face: "I only agree to the establishment and issue pensions, but our brigade headquarters did send troops to participate in the battle in Linfen!" ”

"In order to assist our new regiment in defending Linfen City, the brigade headquarters sent the two main regiments five days ago!"

Commander Zhang seemed to have expected Wang Ping to say this, and then said: "Even if you count all those two regiments, the total strength of the three regiments should not exceed 8,000 people!" ”

"The theater is sympathetic to the hard work of your Eighth Route Army, and decides that regardless of whether the three main regiments participating in the battle are completely annihilated, all pensions will be calculated according to the annihilation of the entire army!"

"The war zone has already calculated, according to the pension standards of officers at all levels, the war zone will issue a total of 965,600 yuan in cash, and you will be directly counted as 970,000! I don't know if Captain Wang agrees with this algorithm, if you agree, we will decide! ”

Wang Ping didn't speak with a calm face, but he sneered in his heart.

At first, I was still thinking about what way Jin Suijun planned to bargain with him.

Now I finally understand, it's the same old thing again, let's talk about the establishment.

You must know that from the beginning of the Anti-Japanese War, the establishment was a loophole in the continuous development and growth of the Eighth Route Army. Over the past few years, both Chongqing and the theater have talked about the establishment on more than one occasion to suppress and restrict the development and growth of the Eighth Route Army.

Fortunately, Wang Ping had been prepared and ordered to Zhong Chenggong next to him.

"Chief of Staff, bring over the roster of all the sacrificed cadres and fighters of our three regiments this time!"

"There is also a roster of wounded soldiers, since the war zone will issue pensions according to the roster, then we will count them one by one!"

The lieutenant general only flipped through a few pages of the roster and was frightened by the numbers.

frowned and exclaimed, "Impossible! The full strength of the three regiments is only 8,000 people, how can it be possible to directly sacrifice more than 20,000 people, more than twice the full strength of the troops! ”

"Commander Wang, is this fooling the war zone as a fool! I don't believe that in two days of the first battle of Linfen, three regiments changed several stubble troops! ”

Wang Ping said smoothly: "Commander Zhang is wise, it's really like this!" ”

"Our Eighth Route Army has always been behind enemy lines and may fight devils at any time, so in order to ensure the combat effectiveness of the troops, we have set up a large number of new troops on the basis of the main force. In the event of serious losses in the main forces, these recruits will immediately replenish the troops and ensure combat effectiveness! ”

"According to post-war statistics, the main force of the three regiments participating in the battle was indeed less than 8,000 people, but the recruits brought over by the three regiments exceeded 20,000!"

"When the main force is fighting, these recruit units are constantly replenishing their troops to ensure the combat effectiveness of the troops."

"Otherwise, how could three regiments with less than 8,000 people attack and defend Linfen City in the devil's attack, and kill them!"

"Since these units are recruit units under the three regiments, and they are indeed replenished into the main force during the battle, and participate in the battle, they must belong to one of the three main regiments!"

"We can't let the blood of heroes be shed in vain, Commander Zhang, do you say it?"

"If I'm not mistaken, in the whole battle, the third company of the new regiment fought the most heavily, and the casualties were the greatest!"

"The company commander manages three, and now a deputy platoon commander is also the company commander."

"Before the war, there were more than 180 people in the company, and less than 10 survived in the end. More importantly, in the course of the battle, the regimental headquarters replenished them with five hundred recruits before and after. ”

"After the battle is over, there are more than 680 people, including recruits, and there will be more than 80 people left~"

"A company loses more than six hundred people, not to mention the fact that there are three regiments of troops participating in the battle?"

With the roster in black and white in his hand, coupled with Wang Ping's explanation, Commander Zhang, a military commander, really couldn't find a reason to refute.

In particular, Wang Ping's sentence that he couldn't let the blood of the soldiers be shed in vain was speechless.

After a long sigh, he replied: "Commander Wang, even if these rosters are true, I will tell you the truth, the war zone can't come up with so much money!" ”

"There are more than 100,000 troops to support in the war zone, and a maximum of 1.2 million oceans can be used as compensation for the pension of the sacrificed soldiers to your army!"

"I hope your army can also take a step back, after all, we are all friendly forces, and you should also be considerate of the difficulties in the war zone.

After Wang Ping hesitated for a few seconds, he replied with a pretended painful expression: "Those pensions were all exchanged for the blood and lives of the soldiers, and I can't say it alone!" ”

"We also know that there are difficulties in the war zone, so we have captured a lot of oceans and yen, worth a million oceans, from the hands of the defeated Kato Division, and we will also use all these yen and oceans as pensions to the soldiers who sacrificed."

"In this case, the war zone only needs to give us a pension of two million oceans!"

"However, we have a request~ We can't spend the yen of the captured devil, the road in the war zone is wide, I hope the war zone can help us exchange these yen for the ocean,

A total of 800,000 oceans! “”

It's okay to exchange money, but two million oceans is still too much! Commander Zhang shook his head and refused.

"At most, one and a half million oceans, you can't take out one more ocean theater!"

Wang Ping also looked serious and replied very affirmatively: "I will drop another 200,000 oceans, 1.8 million oceans, one piece must be missing, otherwise we will not be able to talk about it!" ”

"In addition, the 800,000 oceans exchanged for yen must be given to us together!"

"Yes!" Zhang Jun Chang breathed a long sigh of relief and affirmed.
