Chapter 7: Form and Soul

Chapter 7: Form and Soul

In the dreary hundred years of the armistice in the rivers and lakes of the East and West Shu Mountains, the true works of the swordsmanship of the Tianti Temple, which has become a legend, were discovered by idle martial arts theorists.

It turned out that Master Yeyu really left the sword technique of Tianti Temple, but it was not circulated in the form of a sword book.

Seventy years ago, an idle book of "Visiting the Tablet of Shu Mountain" appeared on the case of the valley lord of Baihua Valley in Xishu Mountain, which was written by a hermit who was the same era as the master of Night Rain.

In this book, the author mentions an ancient temple in the depths of Shu Mountain, called the Thousand Buddhas Night Rain Temple, and the thousands of Buddha statues in the Thousand Buddha Hall in this ancient temple have strange postures, which are not owned by Buddhist statues. What attracted the attention of Shushan Jianghu was that the author mentioned that there was an inscription of Master Yeyu in this ancient temple.

This booklet, written by the author himself, was not printed, and no one wanted to read it. But it has traveled through more than two hundred years, and by chance I came to the desk of the valley lord of Baihua Valley, who accidentally flipped through a page and saw this small piece of text. This can only be said to be accidental, but this accident reflects the inevitable fate of Shushan rivers and lakes:

No one will forget the Heavenly Ladder Temple Sword Technique, even if they already believe that there is no such Sword Technique, but behind the scenes of their lives, they have been looking for it in their dreams.

If there is really a sword technique of Tiantai Temple, then can those Buddha sculptures with flowing lines like a sword dance be able to convey the truth of their sword intent?

The valley lord of the Valley of Hundred Flowers thought so.

The people of Shushan also think so.

When they thought like this, the nightmare or curse of the Heavenly Ladder Temple's swordsmanship was already destined to return to the rivers and lakes of Shushan.

No one can forget the sword shadow and figure on the slope of the sword test, because time will not forget the most beautiful thing it has ever created, forget, just to remember it better next time, and have an unexpected surprise when recalling it.

History is always repeating, recalling what happened again and again.

A real Shushan martial artist will inevitably have to fabricate his Tianti Temple swordsmanship in the end, because that is the ultimate of a martial artist.

Shushan martial arts theorists began to look for clues about the Thousand Buddhas Night Rain Temple in various classics. They read an anecdote in "Memories of Returning to the Fields" written by the master of the Six Swords Hall two hundred years ago after he retired to the rivers and lakes:

At that time, in the most prosperous Shunqing town in Dongshu Mountain, a silver building called "one ingot" came to a skilled northern silversmith master, his silver jewelry skills were unseen by Shushan people, and later the Shushan people who loved to explore found that he was actually the palace master of the northern imperial capital, and the person who could invite him and the person who invited him was the master of the night rain.

Master Night Rain doesn't love silver jewelry, judging from various official records and wild histories, it can be confirmed. However, Master Yeyu said in his own "Night Talk of Tianti Temple" that among the materials in the world, only the luster of silver can best express the meaning of swordsmanship.

What's the connection?

It's easy to think that Master Night Rain wants to pin his true swordsmanship on silver jewelry. And this requires a skilled silversmith.

The rivers and lakes of Dongshu Mountain began to trace the traces of the silversmith three hundred years ago, all the way to his hometown in the north. Nothing was found. Except for an abstract "north".

It wasn't until 30 years ago that a Luo Dixiu returned to his hometown in Jianchang from Chengdu Mansion to play in the mountains and rivers and relieve his sorrows. When staying overnight in one of the countless ancient temples in Shushan, he couldn't sleep in the middle of the night, and when the moonlight was rotten like rotten silver in the barren mountain ancient temple, he was fascinated by the handwriting of a few lines of sword carving on a big stone by the well under the moonlight, the handwriting was difficult to distinguish, but it had a pathetic meaning that there was no way in life.

The landing show rubbed it down, and brought the calligraphy of the master of the night rain and the true work of the sword intent back to the world.

At that time, the third son of Jianchang Feidaomen, the current head of Qi Yu, passed by Qionghu Lake one day, and saw a family by the lake Qiu Ju freehand, monopolizing half of the lake and autumn colors, and happily went in to enjoy the chrysanthemum.

The owner of this chrysanthemum is the first Xiucai, when Qi Yu saw the calligraphy printed by the ancient temple in the hall, he recognized at a glance that this was the unimitated brushwork of the master of the night rain.

Shushan martial arts all know that the calligraphy of the master of the night rain is like swordsmanship, and swordsmanship is calligraphy.

Qi Yu later realized from this strange gesture that the flying knife style walked alone in the rivers and lakes, needless to say, only said that Qi Yu reported this matter to the Dongshu Mountain Deacon's Association, so Xiucai led the way, and the Deacon Association began to look for the ancient temple.

However, the Shu Mountains are vast, thousands of miles of smoke and clouds, Xiucai walks around the mountains, forgetting the mountains and rivers, the road at that time and the mood of the fall at that time, have long been in the Shu Mountains.

In the mountain, the deacons and Xiucai searched for three months, and finally did not find the ancient temple, but found a crumbling ancient tower, and found a secret room in the tower, and found seven small silver fairies in the secret room.

The seven silver fairies bent their palms and fists, making a sword-holding shape, and the postures of the seven fairies were connected together to form a sword style.

The order of the seven fairies is different, and it becomes seven seven forty-nine styles.

The seventy-seven forty-nine sword style can evolve to infinity.

What surprised the rivers and lakes of Dongshu Mountain was that on the silver fetuses of the nine silver fairies, on the flying sleeves, there was a special logo of the northern craftsman of the silver building, a word like the word "cloud".

Providence.

Providence so.

But the people of Shushan don't see it that way.

The people of Shushan and Jianghu think that it is human.

Master Night Rain left a Thousand Buddha Temple in Xishu Mountain, and left seven silver fairies in Dongshu Mountain, which has its own deep meaning.

Dongshu Mountain found the silver fairy who carried the sword intent of the Night Rain Master, and Xishu Mountain was terrified. If they practiced the swordsmanship of the Tiantai Temple, although these seven-style swordsmanship were wonderful, they did not have the power of the legendary swordsmanship of the Night Rain Master on the sword slope of Mirage Mountain.

It wasn't until thirteen years ago that after nearly seventy years of searching, the martial arts of Xishu Mountain almost turned over Xishu Mountain, and found the Thousand Buddha Temple in the belly of a mountain. As for the name of the mountain, it is naturally secret.

The legendary Thousand Buddha Temple is true, and the original intention of the Thousand Buddha statues and the silver fairy is also the same, but the elders of Xishu Mountain will find that the Thousand Buddha Sword Style is missing the most basic and critical sword style of the seven styles, just like a good poem is missing seven key words, unless the Night Rain Master is reborn, no one can restore this eternal swan song.

Of course, everyone would immediately think of the seven silver fairies hidden in Dongshu Mountain.

If you don't have to think about it, that's the way it is, unless the Thousand Buddha Swordsmanship and the Fairy Swordsmanship of the East and West Shu Mountains are combined, the swordsmanship of the Tianti Temple is the real heavenly swordsmanship from the Ladder of Heaven.

But is it possible for the East and West Shu Mountains to be united?

Anyway, from then on, the East and West Shushan have treasured their own treasures in Zhenshan, and at the same time coveted the other party's half.

Jianghu people say that the thousand Buddhas of Xishu Mountain are the shape of the swordsmanship of Tianti Temple, and the silver fairy of Dongshu Mountain is the soul of Tianti Temple's swordsmanship.

The form is separated from the soul, and the sword technique of the Tiantai Temple is dead.

The division of the East and West Shu Mountains, Shu Mountains actually have no soul.

The mountains and rivers of the East and West Shu Mountains are also dead.
