Section 3 Our World

"Well, it's a nice forest, I've never been this far before. Du Lang went out for the first time, and the excitement in his heart can be imagined, "But... Where do I know the other two roads lead to the city of Tanaris?"

What appeared in front of Du Lang was a three-way intersection, because the road sign that had stood at the intersection had long since disappeared from last night's rainstorm, so "Where are these two roads going?" Du Lang stood at the fork in the road and was stunned.

"This handsome gentleman, do you want to buy a map? My map is the most complete and well-marked map in the world, and it only costs two cards to buy one. A bearded man dressed in Kajiu came over with a bag of maps wrapped in cowhide, probably seeing that the young man had been out for the first time, so he had business to do, and he had a smile on his face.

Du Lang suddenly turned around when he heard the voice, only to realize that it was such an uncle who was selling the map to him, and he couldn't help but feel a palpitation, "Where did this uncle come from, he appeared behind me without any warning, and scared me." Duran muttered quietly.

However, the fledgling Durang didn't think much about it, except for knowing from Uncle York that this world is composed of three continents, each with different folk customs, he didn't know anything about the world he had lived in for fifteen years, so he immediately bought two copies. The uncle thanked him and turned to leave. Du Lang looked at the back of the uncle and thought of Uncle York again, and couldn't help but sigh: "I just left for a while and started thinking about him." Jieli, be sure to find you. Du Lang's determination to find Jieli deepened.

Unfolding the map he had just bought, Durang was immediately attracted by the fine lines on the parchment. "It's a perfect map, and there's a detailed explanation of this world at the end!" was a great help to Durang.

First of all, let's take a look at the map, the world is divided into 3 continents shaped by the god of the elements, and the continent where Durang is located is the largest of the three, and its name is Radokvik. Because of its resemblance to a soaring eagle, some people call this continent the Continent of the Eagle, and the two continents are slightly inferior in size to Radokovik, to the north of Radokvik. Butalen is the name of the continent. It comes from Buttalen Creel, the first explorer to discover the continent. The farthest continent cannot be called a continent, because it is a rather large group of islands, the largest of which is a third of the size of the continent of Butalen. It has a nice name - the Urus Islands, which translates to the veil of the god of the elements. Because it is so far from the two continents that are now inhabited, very few people can actually visit it, and even fewer have returned, and the mystery and curiosity of the archipelago are like the veil of the elemental gods.

Then there is the terrain of the first two continents, Ladokvik is dominated by plains and hills, high in the west and bottom in the east, and the world's highest mountain range, the Fizur Mountains, is located in the westernmost part of this continent. The birthplace of the Mudo River is the world's largest river, directly crossing Radokvik, the town where Dulang is located is the southernmost part of the continent, and the Ward River is one of the major tributaries of the Mudo River.

The Butar continent is mostly mountainous, because at the beginning of the world, this continent was still submerged in the sea, due to the effect of flowing water, there are countless strange peaks and strange rocks on this continent, and there are countless rivers of all sizes, so it has naturally become a tourist attraction.

As for the Urus Islands, since there are quite few people who can return safely, the map roughly indicates the location of each island, and the terrain and the like are not specifically indicated.

Durang held the map, focusing on the direction of the Ward River down from the town. Looking at the river that meandered around like a small snake on the map, Durang felt that it was even more difficult to find himself. I don't even have the mood to read the detailed explanations of the worlds recorded later.

But even so, time passed quickly, and the sky had already darkened unconsciously. "It's time to speed things up. Durang packed his bags, chose the one closest to the Ward River out of three paths, and ran along it.

Duran ran for a while, and it wasn't until it was completely dark that he decided to find a place to set up camp and make a fire. Du Lang looked around, except for this winding path, it was surrounded by dense woods, and in such a place, it was not wise to rush into the woods. Dulang followed Uncle York into the forest to hunt from an early age, and an innate hunter's instinct told him that it was the right choice. So Durang went to the side of the road and set up camp in a clearing on the side of the road. As soon as he lit the fire, everything around him had already entered the rhythm of the night.

It was the first time that Du Lang had spent the night alone, looking around him except for the lighting range of the campfire. Even after exercising since childhood, Du Lang is still a little nervous. "Is it because the bridge is broken, in the past, most of the merchants who crossed the bridge must have been troublesome with small boats, and the goods could not be transported at all. So we had to wait in the town for the bridge to be repaired, so there were fewer people crossing the river, and at night there was not even a ghost. Durang fiddled with the bonfire, making the branches crackle and muttered something to distract himself from being so nervous.

Before leaving, Du Lang brought a lot of bread from his bakery, and the fire was just prepared to chase the beasts in the forest, don't listen to some people who say that you can't make a fire in the forest, in fact, all creatures, especially those who walk in the dark, have more or less some fear of fire and light, so in such a dark place, building a bonfire can not only keep warm, but also very helpful for safety. Du Lang ate the bread baked by himself with relish, and the whole person relaxed.

In Du Lang's plan, he did not plan to spend the night in such a forest, and after dinner, he continued on his way, hoping to get to the next town as soon as possible to find out the news of Jieli. But just as Durang had finished his bread and got up to get ready to go on his way, he suddenly felt as if there was a faint human voice coming from the forest behind him, like a cry for help. Durang immediately stood up, and the silence around him was terrifying, save for the occasional crackling of branches in the campfire.

After a while, it was still quiet. "Did I hear it wrong?, or did I have an auditory hallucination just after eating?" Du Lang touched his ears suspiciously, sat down again, and straightened his bags. Just packed up. Suddenly, the voice reappeared, this time as if it was one step closer to itself. Durang could almost clearly hear that someone was indeed calling for help. So Du Lang didn't hesitate at all, turned around and rushed into the dark forest behind him, and rushed towards the place where the cry for help was made.
