Chapter VI: Exposure
Flac Owen is a straight man.
He doesn't have a good reputation, and he is even called a disobedient bastard behind his back.
He had a terrible relationship with his family, beat his father, fainted his mother to death, and ran away from home.
He and his colleagues were also very stiff, and no one wanted to work with him, so that he was always assigned to work alone.
That's right, he's an Auror, but now I want to add the word 'former', without him, just because he doesn't give up on some things, so he doesn't hesitate to slap the table with his boss many times and stare at him, he's such a straight person.
If at the beginning, he tried his best to hunt down the Death Eaters and Dark Wizards, and it can be said that he was jealous and hateful, and he did everything to eliminate evil, then now, he is still staring at Catherine of the Shafiq family, it can really only be said that he is out of some kind of obsession.
He didn't have the slightest evidence to make a move. But he just thinks Catherine is hypocritical and evil, and he should go to Azkaban's prison more than Stanley.
His theory is that the Shafiq family has always been able to escape from pursuit again and again during the years of their escape, which is no accident.
One of them is shrewd and decisive, good at planning, improvisation, and wisdom.
He thought that this person could only be Catherine.
His theory was actually put forward by his good friend Henry Reeves.
The two are not in the same action group, they said it when they were on vacation and drunk too much.
Most people might think that drunken nonsense doesn't count, but Owen knew very well that the more they talked at the time, the more energetic they became, and then they just woke up, which also made him very impressed by that conversation.
He resolutely refuses to believe that Henry died accidentally, insisting that Henry discovered some great secret and was brutally murdered.
But he had no proof.
The sentence against the Shafiq family has also been concluded.
He was snooping in the dark, and he felt that Catherine would definitely show her fox tail!
But no, Catherine didn't show the slightest bit of the loophole he wanted, she just stupidly went to the Ministry of Magic, did the job she had been promised, and was humiliated every day.
She also stupidly listed and sold Nozawa Castle on consignment, wishing that everyone knew that the power stones there were about to run out of energy.
She now has no new ideas to pawn the ancestral jewelry when she got married, and she is still long-standing, and she is still counting on selling Nozawa Castle to redeem it in the future. As everyone knows, even if she sells it, the money she can get is absolutely low, and then all kinds of problems in Exmoor Hill Villa will erupt.
She looks so stupid, calculated to death, as if she is deliberately following the script made up by those who calculated her, and she is not bad at a single step.
That's not what Owen wants!
"It's not allowed!"
Yes, not allowed, Owen could not afford everything to be taken for granted by him. He sacrificed so much for it that he couldn't afford to lose.
So he chose to use some unconventional means to do things.
It was at the pawn shop that he attacked Catherine, and he didn't even think much about how to deal with the aftermath, let alone what would happen if he failed.
But his attack on Catherine was at least successful, and he used it from behind Catherine to faint to the ground, and he forgot about the rules of gentlemanly and wizarding etiquette.
He looked at Catherine and smiled a little hideously: "There is a problem in your family, there must be a problem in your family, you can deceive others, but you can't deceive me, I want to know the truth, I will reveal the truth!"
Flac Owen said as he pulled out a bottle of potion.
This potion strengthens his spell casting ability, but the side effects are not small.
Owen can't care so much. As a former Auror, I don't know how many life and death battles have been experienced, and what side effects will I be afraid of?
After taking the medicine, he forcibly cast a spell and took the soul from the mind.
He was not willing to kill Catherine, not even if Catherine was stupid, she had to be conscious, which was the basis for proving her guilt.
So Owen was also extremely cautious, and his dirty and wrinkled shirt was soaked with sweat.
Eventually, Catherine's memories melted into a meditation basin.
Then he saw this memory:
Stanley punched and kicked Catherine, and even snatched the baby milk and shoved it into his mouth like cereal. also scolded vaguely: You slut, Lao Tzu has no strength, how can you fight with the pursuers?
Act II: Creatures of darkness are hunting them down. One of them, a stupid burly werewolf, howled, "Someone has bought your family's head, and it's worth a lot of money!" In this way, I allow you to spend your money.
As a result, Stanley said that he wanted to negotiate, but he took the opportunity to injure a werewolf and ran alone, leaving Catherine alone to fight the dark creatures.
Act Three: Stanley returns like his ass on fire, when Catherine's battle with the dark creatures is over, and the corpses are seen everywhere, including the stupid burly werewolf. Stanley said unashamedly, "Ha, it really worked when I diverted the pursuers. Then he turned around and fought the dark creatures who were chasing him, and Catherine joined the warband.
This is the end of the memory. The meditation basin can only read three memories at a time, and it is information that is related to a certain extent. And not all wizards who can perform 'dementorship' can extract and read memories as freely as Voldemort did.
Owen's face turned blue, he wiped a handful of water from his face, and said viciously to Catherine: "Damn, there's a problem here, you can defeat so many werewolves in a short time!?"
So he cast the dementor again, and read again in the meditation basin:
Stanley barged in with a couple of Aurors, and the details were that it was a motel, in tatters, with water still seeping through the corners, and the wallpaper was rolled up. The leader Auror laughed and said, "Are you hiding again? You are very clever, but your husband is a fool, and he is a coward, and he confessed you!"
Then the faces of the Aurors suddenly changed, as if they had seen something extremely terrifying.
Then there was the brilliance, and several Aurors came to the ground one after another, not knowing whether they were alive or dead.
Stanley looked proud, but was whipped by some kind of black tentacle, his clothes were torn, and he was scarred, and he wailed: Don't dare again!
"That's how Stanley's shocking scars came from. It wasn't the Aurors who ravaged and tormented him!" Owen thought to himself, but because this memory was seen from Catherine's main perspective, he didn't quite know what had happened.
Act II: Catherine is hunted by a powerful vampire. The other party was obviously teasing her, and from time to time suddenly appeared to scratch her clothes or leave scars on her body. Catherine ran in a panic, so embarrassed that her wand was broken from the fall.
Eventually, the game was over, and she was pushed down again, this time, the vampire appeared, looking at her disheveled, her eyes flashing with beastly desire: "Come on, little baby, the blood toxin will make you horny, I haven't played pure-blood wizards yet!"
The vampire was about to commit violence, and he inadvertently raised his head, as if he had seen some strange scene, and the whole person was stunned anyway, and then turned into black ashes in the soft black light!
Later, he hugged the unconscious Kane and cried.
Owen also felt a lot of doubts, judging from the performance of the vampire, the ability is absolutely strong, it is the kind of vampire elder who has a strong tolerance to sunlight, and he has a chance to rush into the shadow area when he is exposed to the midday sun, and what the hell is it that is illuminated by black light?
Also, how did Kane end up in the vicinity? Catherine was in a panic, and besides, if she wanted to protect her son, she should have let him hide her to lure away the pursuers, not to find her son.
Act III: His best friend Henry appears. Leading the Auror team codenamed 'Dog Team', frantically chasing and killing the Shafiq family, from Catherine's point of view, this Auror group's various performances are more like the dark side, and Muggles along the way are killed by them casually, just because they are in the way, or they are in the way.
The courageous Stanley was fleeing in embarrassment, but Catherine suddenly stopped, because little Kane stopped his steps and stood there with a solemn face, watching the Aurors approach.
"Run! You run! Hide and seek is fun!"
"Little cub, I don't like the way you look at me right now!"
Then, black wings of light sprouted from little Kane, and those feathers of light were more like tentacles, thick and agile, full of vitality, and they swung with extreme grace, like aquatic plants rippling with the flow of water in the water......
"Bastard! there's an article here!" Owen howled loudly, but unfortunately his memory was over.
He had a scowling face on his forehead, and it was a great burden for him to cast his soul receptive, but he couldn't stop it.
He gritted his teeth and roared, "Come again!" ......
