341. Which of you is a righteous man?
When Amon led his disciples into the synagogue, the wounded man, supported by his family, knelt before Jesus and pleaded, while the townspeople watched. There were those who sympathized with the unfortunate wounded and hoped that Jesus would heal him, while others gloated, such as the Salem priests in the temple.
It was a dilemma, and if Jesus did not heal the wounded, he would be violating the kindness of Arho that he preached. But if Jesus healed the wounded today, he violated the so-called Aroha precepts of the Salem elders. Jesus looked around and understood what was going on, and the Salem priests had deliberately given him this problem, just waiting to get him by the way.
Joshua stepped forward and reached out to help the wounded man and said, "God loves the world, get up." ”
The wounded man was involuntarily carried up by a force, and he still pleaded there: "I heard that you are preaching the faith of Aroha everywhere, healing people all the way, and you are a miraculous doctor. Heal this arm for me too!" he grabbed Jesus' arm as he spoke.
Jesus smiled and asked, "Stranger, with which hand are you grabbing me?" The wounded man was stunned, and then the whole room was stunned, because the man grabbed Jesus' sleeve with the injured and unconscious hand.
At the same time that Jesus held his arm and told him to get up, he quietly healed his arm. It's not a serious injury, but if you don't treat it in time, you can end up with a disability. Jesus didn't tell him, "I'm healing you" or "I'm going to heal you," and he stretched out his hand.
The man moved his arm, and except for some tearing pain in the joint, the whole arm had completely regained sensation and mobility. He exclaimed, "Thank you, thank God! You must be God's messenger, reciting God's voice!"
"Wow——!" Everyone in the room let out an exclamation, and everyone began to whisper in praise of the miracle of Jesus. The temple priests who were waiting to see the excitement were a little discouraged, and they wanted to find fault in the healing process of Jesus. If Jesus was a doctor, he would have treated the sick, and if he had been a magician, he would have to use magic, but Jesus was more clever than they could have imagined, and he was able to heal the sick with just a few helps.
The disciples of Jesus secretly wondered, wasn't this wounded man just a misaligned joint, and could he make such a big move, as if he were putting on a show!
And Jesus, who did not forget those who had tried to embarrass him by taking advantage of this, looked around the crowd and said: "Today is the Sabbath, and God made a pact with Moses—'The people are very hard, and after six days of work, let them rest and say, and do not drive them to work again.'" This is God telling us to have good intentions, not to say that we should reject good deeds in the Sabbath, otherwise it would be against God's will.
I know in my heart that someone who refused to heal this poor wounded man in peace and asked him to come here and beg me. I want to ask you, including those people, if you fall in the Sabbath, do you want someone to reach out to stop you? God guides us away from sin and draw near to good deeds, if someone is sin at rest, should we stop him?
Rest says that you can rest and you should rest, but you must do what you should do when you encounter it, and you can't stop the kindness of others. Stopping good deeds is also evil, and stopping evil deeds is also good! What kind of words do you think the rest is? What kind of choice is in line with God's original will?
With these words, Jesus led his disciples out of the meeting place and went to rest under a large tree by the river next to the town, but the news of what happened in the meeting room spread throughout the town.
In the evening, people kept coming to salute Jesus under the tree and bring him and his disciples all kinds of food. It was as if the whole town was grateful for what he had done, and even more so for the inspiration he had said.
Not only did Jesus solve the troubles of the Salem priests, but he was also welcomed by the locals. When he preached under the tree the next day, there was a crowd around him, and people stopped even going to the temple synagogue. Clearly, if they were left to their own choice, people would prefer to receive Arroba guidance from Jesus.
Such a scene sent a chill in the hearts of several priests in the temple in Salem, and the presence of Jesus, which meant that their position was shaken. Under the tree by the river, the presence of Jesus became a temple in people's minds. This man could not be allowed to do this any longer, and they were going to write a letter to the elders of Salem to report what was going on here—such a dangerous new figure had appeared, and they had to try to get rid of it.
One of the priests said, "Yesterday the same Jesus said in the church, 'It is good to stop evil and evil to stop good.'" Someone came today to report that he was preaching God's forgiveness and mercy under the tree. Then we're going to give him another problem, and the mayor of the town will take the sheriff to catch a criminal, and let them take the criminal under a tree by the river, and see what Jesus' will do with it?"
...... Jesus was preaching to the townspeople under a tree, when suddenly there was a noise in the distance, and someone shouted, "Townspeople, stop the criminal and stone him!"
One man stumbled into the crowd and was quickly grabbed by those around him with his hands tied, interrupted by Jesus' preaching, and everyone was watching the captured fugitive. Someone recognized him and exclaimed, "Oh my God, isn't this Qiu Qianren? That scoundrel who has committed many crimes, thank God, has finally caught him!"
The fugitive, Qiu Qianren, seemed to know what occasion he had come, and raised his head and shouted: "Why are you arresting me? May I ask you which of you is a perfectly pure and righteous person? Please tell me! If any of you is not guilty before God, you can stone me to death, if not, what right do you have to accuse me of my crimes? In front of Aroha, all people are sinners, and some people are preaching God's forgiveness and mercy, why are you bound here?"
These words were not so much shouted to the townspeople as they were questions of Jesus. Qiu Qianren only shouted at Josus, and he had already stood up as he spoke, and his appearance was very menacing, and the sheriff of the town did not stop him. But before he could take two steps, Jesus raised his staff and struck him to the ground.
Qiu Qianren was beaten and gnawed on the mud, struggling and unable to get up again.
I heard Jesus shout, "Your sin is your sin, and even if you have escaped, it will not prove your innocence, and you are now arrested because of what you have done." The existence of evil in the world is not an excuse for you to do evil deeds, and you will have to bear the consequences of making choices. Everyone's mistakes should be punished, and because there are so many sins in the world, guilt can become innocence, and mistakes can become right.
Even if there is no righteous person here, you should be punished so that the world can be farther away from sin and closer to good deeds. The world is not all righteous, but you cannot condone sin to cover up yourself, and since you know that you are guilty, it means that you understand the consequences when you make your choice. Even if you are free from pursuit, you must accept hatred and condemnation, and if everyone else is guilty, it will never prove that your crime is noble.
People may not be righteous, but they cannot laugh at them, and they cannot accuse others of being unrighteous because they are wrong, which is a deeper sin. Why do we need to look at our hearts, what does God's forgiveness and mercy mean? If people look inwardly and accept the consequences of what they do, then they can have a new soul. This rebirth of the soul will not continue not only after you die, but also after you have paid the price, and will not continue to do the evil deeds you do today. Otherwise you will never be free, either on earth or in hell.
In this world, it is not evil that can punish evil, and good can also punish evil. Look at the sheriff behind you, he may have stolen a neighbor's chicken as a child, but that doesn't mean he can't do his duty to catch you, and if he condones you to continue sinning, that's his unforgivable crime. ...... What are you doing in a daze, magistrate? Let this man interrupt my preaching in a satanic voice? Do your duty and take him to your office. ”
Qiu Qianren was beaten with a rod from Jesus, and his whole body was so weak that he was unable to struggle. In the midst of the crowd, the mayor ordered the sheriff to take him away.
People are still talking about what Jesus just said, and there was also a man among Jesus' disciples named John, who had the same name as the famous John the Baptist. He frowned and whispered to his companion, "What Jesus said is very reasonable, but if it is spread like this, I am afraid it will affect the prestige of the teacher." Almost everyone in this world has made mistakes, they have sinful thoughts in their hearts, and they want to be forgiven by God in prayer. Our guide should be a forgiving, and such a thing is not enough to describe his great affection. ”
Another disciple muttered in a whisper, "We can tell the people another story of a man who made a mistake kneeling before Jesus, and Jesus asked the people—Which of you is righteous?"
John nodded and said, "People love to hear stories like that, and the more infectious they are!"
At this moment, Jesus sighed and asked the crowd, "Who are we righteous?" John and another disciple were startled as they spoke, and they quickly listened to the sermon.
Hear Jesus continue: "Let us have a ritual and pray to Aroh. This prayer is not only for God, but also for ourselves, we have no reason to inflict evil on others, God's forgiveness and mercy is to forgive and purify souls. Even if our souls are not cleansed, let us not lose our true guidance and turn away from the direction of the light. ”
He spoke these words to both the people and the disciples, and then he knelt down under the tree with his staff in his hand, and entered a state of prayer and meditation. The people around them also knelt down and prayed as Jesus did.
After some time, a sudden exclamation broke the silence under the tree, and the people on one side jumped up and avoided the side, letting out incredible cries and cries of terror. Jesus opened his eyes and looked over, and saw a large bear that had somehow blended into the crowd, kneeling there like a man, with a pair of front paws folded on his chest and his head bowed in prayer.
