Chapter 8: The Secret Garden (Part II)

Lala lay on the soft four-leaf clover grass, her silver braids already scattered. Since this was a super-high-level forbidden demon realm, the black swan condensed by countless cursed magical powers was completely sealed back into her body, and even the basic curse effect was gone.

She could even feel the long-lost sense of ease and comfort in her body, and that was the natural joy she felt because she was no longer carrying the heavy curse, an instinctive reaction of her body.

Lala looked at the blue sky, a beautiful world that was completely different from her world, a dreamy land like the Pure Land of Bliss.

She had forgotten how long she had been able to relax and look at the scenery around her. Perhaps, it was because she had temporarily lost all her strength and could no longer fight that she could feel the beauty of this scenery.

The world that belongs to her is a forest of steel that is so cold that there is no hope in sight. This forest stands on a desolate plain as far as the eye can see, and everywhere you look, there are weapons like tombstones.

Knives, guns, swords, halberds, all the weapons that humans have ever created to inflict damage can be found in this forest, and here is her realm, the blood-colored wilderness.

There will never be a sun in the sky, only the cold cogs that represent the cruel fate and the interlaced red and black lines, which represent her heart and her world.

The blood-colored earth was filled with a variety of different types of treasures, with a near-inexhaustible number, weapons that she had seen and understood stored on countless brutal battlefields, a collection of all the mystical fantasies that could be attained with a human body.

As the battle continued, so did the weapons that appeared on the land. In the midst of repeated killings, she has saved countless people and killed countless people, just to get the final result.

Countless times, behind the killing, on the battlefield that ended, only her lonely back was left. The corpses on the ground, rivers of blood, represent the battle that has been ended.

Among the corpses that littered the ground, she had nothing but "justice". She will not be redeemed, she will not be able to stop the sword in her hand, she must fight because she needs to protect "justice".

Even if everyone gave up and despaired, she would never give up or turn back. From a long, long time ago, when she had lost everything and understood what kind of pain it was, she told herself that she had to save more people, and she had to persevere as the last justice.

Do your best to save more people, not to become a hero, but to grab the hands of more people who want to be redeemed and want to live.

What she does is not to give people "happiness", but to "save" and make her best efforts before everything develops to the point of no return.

If no one does it, order will eventually collapse and justice will disappear as a joke. Therefore, she has to do it, and she has to do it. Even if she gets scarred all over her body, and even falls into the dark side of death more than once, she will never give up.

That was her faith, the source of the power of her sword, her belief in becoming a brave man.

If, one day, the world no longer needs "justice", just like this beautiful and peaceful world, everyone can be happy, she will be as happy as she is now.

It would be great if, one day, her ideals could be realized like this.

Unfortunately, it was something she couldn't do on her own. All she will do is fight, kill. Make decisions when you're in danger and save the most people.

She has never given happiness to anyone, not once. In the long battle, she has almost forgotten the meaning of happiness, and only counts the number of people she can save in the cold battle.

It is the ideal outcome to save all the people and not hurt anyone, but most of the time, it is an unrealistic fantasy. In order to save more people, some people must be sacrificed.

Sometimes, whether it is a saved person or a sacrificed person, the result will be unacceptable. They cursed her, hated her, and looked at her with hatred. Because they can't accept that outcome, because among the sacrificed people, there may be their friends, lovers, relatives.

However, there was only one way for her to find that, and if there were no victims, everyone would all die.

Obviously, I just want to save more people.

Sure enough, she is still very stupid, if that person is still by her side, she must be able to find a better way, a more satisfactory and more suitable way.

However, it is no more, not anywhere. The people who would support her by her side, who could understand and laugh at her immature ideas to change her, were no longer in this world.

Even if she is deceived by someone as a fool, even if she is often tricked around and running around wasting time, even if her friends who are dark wizards often angrily say that she is too easy to deceive, such a happy time has already disappeared into the past like a dream bubble.

No one will hold his hand when she reaches out, and no one will comfort her when she weeps.

So, get stronger, use your own hands, hold your own sword, and continue on your own path, and it doesn't matter if you don't get understood.

There is no need to hope for such a thing as happiness, she still has to fight to continue, and she can't stay in this place like a dream garden.

............

"Whoaa

It was like a long, long time ago, when she was still by that man's side, curiously watching him do experiments like this and that, and screaming at the huge silver moon in the sky.

It was a happy day, and although sometimes I was caught by that person doing strange things here and there, I wasn't sad at all, and sometimes I felt a hot itchy blush.

The stars in the sky had changed positions, but the man had not returned. Really, how long will she have to wait?

However, today she was lucky that she saw the shadow of the individual again and smelled him. Although it wasn't at the agreed place and at the appointed time (in fact, she didn't make an appointment at all), but she was very patient, so it was fine.

No matter how much the stars moved, she would keep that promise and be waiting for her.
