Chapter 30 Tai Chi Listens
In this more than half a year of penance, Qin Tian not only made a preliminary tempering of the five internal organs and six internal organs, but also used the accumulated internal strength to open up and refine all the acupuncture points of the two main meridians, the Zuyang Ming Stomach Meridian and the Zutai Yin and Spleen Meridian.
The reason why Qin Tian dared to refine and get through the two canons in the "Twelve Warp Wheels" was mainly due to the cultivation experience in the dream realm during this time.
Through unremitting cultivation in the dream realm, although he could not truly increase his internal strength cultivation, his control of internal strength had been greatly improved. Now Qin Tian has been able to easily control the internal strength after accelerating three times, if he goes all out, he can even barely control the internal strength after accelerating five times, which can be described as a qualitative improvement for Qin Tian, who had struggled to control and accelerate twice before, which strengthened Qin Tian's determination to cultivate in the dream realm.
Moreover, Qin Tian found that with the increase in the number of cultivation times in the dream realm, his perception also improved significantly.
It is precisely because of this that he dared to open up the other two canons, as for why he chose to open the Zuyang Ming stomach meridian first, on the one hand, because this is the seriousness of a leg step, which is conducive to the use of internal strength in the legs in the future, so that the hands and feet can use internal strength, but more importantly, because of the "Twelve Warp Wheels" The requirements for qi and blood exceeded the body's absorption rate of medicinal diets, which caused a certain burden on the body, so Qin Tian planned to carry out focused warm and nourishing tempering on the stomach, the main digestive organ of the body, in order to improve the efficiency of the body's absorption of nutrients and meet the energy consumption required for the next step of cultivation.
Qin Tian's choice was correct, when the Zuyang Ming stomach meridian was refined, his appetite was greatly boosted, and with the continuous cultivation and tempering of the "Qi and Blood Internal Forging Technique", the stomach's absorption efficiency of nutrients and energy increased exponentially, so that Qin Tian had enough margin to open up another canon, the Zutai Yin and Spleen Meridian.
As for why he opened up this sutra, it was mainly because the Zutai Yin and Spleen Sutra happened to be the surface and the inside of each other with the Zuyang Ming Stomach Sutra, and the cultivation effect was more obvious.
The exercises of the "Twelve Meridian Wheels" do not just run in the acupuncture points of the Hand Shao Yin Heart Sutra, but follow a certain route through the three canons, constantly consolidating and strengthening the three canonical meridians and acupuncture points.
Niu Kui saw that his two disciples began to feel the pressure, restrained his arrogance a little, and finally nodded with relief: "Don't be discouraged, after all, you are my personal disciples, how can I let you suffer easily? ”
"One of you is now at the level of internal strength, and the other is at the level of qi sense, and it is impossible for you to go further in a short period of time in terms of realm, so in the face of the upcoming competition, what I want to improve next is your actual combat ability, and at the same time teach you some boxing essentials. Okay, you guys go back today, and we're going to do another month of targeted training starting tomorrow. ”
Early the next morning, when Qin Tian and Yan Qiu came to the classroom, Niu Kui was already waiting there in his martial robes.
Niu Kui cleared his throat and said to them: "In your previous training, confrontation training is more of a practice to master the moves, the real actual combat will be more cruel than that, and it is also faster, the victory or defeat of the two sides will often be decided in a very short time, and it is even possible to decide the winner with one move, it is rare that there will be that kind of situation where you come and go, you punch me and I punch you again."
Because once a warrior reaches the level of internal strength, the internal strength is not to defeat the enemy, but often to lose, so in this level of actual combat, listening to the strength is still very important.
The so-called listening energy means that the touches of the skin and the sensations in the body detect the size, length, and movement of the opponent's energy.
Tingjin is originally a term for Taijiquan to push the hand strength, but now all kinds of martial arts emphasize winning the strengths of others, so in Xingyiquan, the training of Tingjin is also a focus.
It can be roughly divided into three stages: First, the bone sense listens. The second is to listen to it. The third is to listen to it without any feeling.
Anyone who has read the book knows that any force is composed of its size, direction and focus point, through the practice of listening to the strength, the warrior can more accurately detect the size, direction and focus of the opponent's strength, so that it can weaken the opponent's strength by prolonging the opponent's strength process, or change the opponent's strength and focus point, so as to resolve the opponent's offensive. No matter which method you choose, it requires that the martial artist must first reach a certain level of cultivation in Tingjin, so what I arrange for you this time is a targeted training on Tingjin. ”
Qin Tian and Yan Qiu's eyes lit up when they heard this, this is the benefit of having a master's inheritance, if there is no guidance from Niu Kui, Qin Tian and Yan Qiu want to understand these truths, I am afraid that they may not be able to understand the Tao in a few years.
Niu Kui pondered for a while, organized the language, and then continued: "In fact, there are two kinds of listening, that is, internal listening and external listening. The so-called internal listening is to concentrate on the body to "listen" to the changes in the meridians of the whole body, which is also the main direction of Xingyi Boxing and Baguazhang borrowing from Taijiquan to listen to the strength of the exercises, and listening to it is one of the essences of Taijiquan, that is, to listen to the opponent's strength by pushing hands to listen to the strength of the other party and give a response.
Listening can first understand the principles and methods, and then slowly experience it in the future self-training, and what I want to teach you now is about the training of external listening.
I also told you that my family martial arts is actually Tai Chi, so I can also listen to one of the essences of Tai Chi.
Listening is mainly through the practice of pushing hands to learn and master, when pushing the hands of the two arms together, according to a certain procedure to push and pull each other, over and over again, commonly known as "playing wheels".
In the process of "playing the wheel", the two sides strive to contain the other party and make it lose their balance, and then take advantage of the situation to release the other party.
Of course, we need to practice listening to the power, not pushing the hand. Therefore, victory or defeat is not the key, the key is to learn and master the skills and essence of "listening to strength" in the practice of pushing hands.
There are many kinds of pusher training, the most basic of which is the fixed-step double pusher, also known as the four positive pushers. When practicing, the two sides stand opposite each other, one foot in front, the foot does not move, with the shed, squeeze, press, four methods of pushing and kneading the wheel.
The two of you start to practice the most basic fixed-step double pusher, and when you have practiced to a certain level, then start the practice of moving and pushing hands, and finally these pushers have mastered and then carry out the practice of loose pushers. ”
Qin Tian and Yan Qiu listened attentively, for fear of missing a little, hearing this, Qin Tian couldn't help but ask: "Master, what do you mean by shedding, squeezing, squeezing, and pressing?"
The so-called "shed" refers to using the arm to touch and hold the opponent to build a line of defense; "squeeze" refers to pulling to the side or backward along the trend, "squeezing" refers to squeezing and forcing forward, and "pressing" refers to pushing down and forward.
In addition, there are "cai", pointing down to traction, horizontal differentiation or attacking the opponent, "elbow", which refers to using the forearm rotation or elbow joint to restrain the opponent, and "leaning", which refers to squeezing with the shoulder and back, etc., these are all techniques used in various push hand exercises, and you must be proficient in the later exercises. ”
"Master, why don't you explain to us what is behind, the moving pusher, the big pusher, and the loose pusher?"
"Since you asked, I'll tell you about it in advance.
The so-called live step pusher is on the basis of the fixed-step pusher, two feet move, one forward and one retreat, straight back and forth, and some two people walk sideways in a circle.
The big push hand is to use picking, picking, elbow, leaning, four methods in order to play the wheel, because its strength is mostly oblique, so it is also called the four corners of the pusher, its footsteps move into an arc, three steps into the one, two steps back, while walking and turning, the pace is brisk.
The loose pusher is a two-handed push-pull informal form, not according to the fixed procedure of the pusher method, the form is naturally more free. ”
"Master, what should I pay attention to when previewing the hands, and what is the relationship between listening to the strength and the pushers?"
"There are "four wants" in pusher training, and listening to the strength must strictly abide by the "four wants" of pushing, sticking, connecting and following. The key is to be calm, breathless, loose, steady, and loose muscles and joints of the whole body, rather than the slightest clumsy dullness. In this way, through gradual exercise, the whole body sensation and reaction become more and more acute, to the point that the slightest sense is known. In modern scientific terms, listening is roughly equivalent to a combination of relaxation training, sensory training and reaction training.
If the pusher is compared to war, then listening to the power is reconnaissance. Reconnaisance must have some contact with the other side; although reconnaissance is emphasized, it can only be contact with the other side's skin to understand the reality of the other side, and at the same time, it is not possible to go all out and completely expose oneself to the other side; therefore, it is necessary to "dip" with each other, and not allow excessive force to collide with each other; and not to use too little force, dent and flatten, and lose stamina, open the door to the other side, and cause oneself to be passive. Therefore, to touch the other party is to start to do dynamic reconnaissance and understanding of it, that is, to start listening. This kind of listening should be carried out throughout the pusher, and try to grasp the whole process.
At the same time, it is necessary to stick to the other party like glue, and prevent the other party from suddenly attacking, that is, the so-called "sticking". The actions of the opponent should be moved according to the opponent's movements, and they should be stretched as they bend.
First arrange yourself steadily, and then in the eight-sided support and eight-sided transformation, carefully experience the opponent's every move, and find out the opponent's action intentions and rules, that is, the so-called "connection".
If you can correctly judge and grasp the opponent's movement rules and action intentions, then the opponent can adjust any action that hits or destroys your balance in time, and take corresponding correct countermeasures, that is, the so-called "follow".
Staining, sticking, connecting, and following cannot be "lost" or "resisted".
"Lose" means to leave the other party, lose contact, and therefore cannot accurately understand the other party's intentions, so there is a possibility of being hit by the other party's sudden blow; at the same time, one's own actions also lose their pertinence and become blind movements.
"Resistance" is a serious confrontation, not understanding the objective reality at all, not knowing the changes in the opponent's reality and reality, and only vigorously resisting the enemy, this can only be a reckless move.
Therefore, the essence of listening to the strength is to understand the opponent's attack intention, and to break the opponent's attack momentum or trend to counterattack and win the opponent. To sum up, the key point is to listen to the changes in the three elements of the opponent's strength, one is the fulcrum, that is, the focus point, the second is the size, rigidity and softness, virtual and real strength, and the third is the direction and route of the strength. ”
"Wow! The master has so much attention to the practice of pushing hands! This is almost the same as our Xingyi Five Elements Fist!"
"Of course, this push hand is the foundation of Tai Chi, and practicing Tai Chi without practicing push hands is like practicing Xingyi without practicing the Five Elements Boxing, which is unthinkable. Taijiquan is also a broad and profound boxing method, and some of the key points I just told you are just scratching the surface, and there are many essences that you will have the opportunity to understand in the future. After all, you are based on Xingyi Fist, don't put the cart before the horse.
Well, speaking of which, I will add to you some key points in addition to the "four musts".
First of all, the push hand must be done to the waist to sink, so as to be able to dissolve the force, the folding of the chest and abdomen and the rotation of the waist and hip is the key to listening, understanding and resolving the force, which requires the waist and hip to be loose and sensitive.
Secondly, the hand should be loose, so that you can listen hard, if the hand is stiff, it will be sour if you can't push it a few times, and you must relax.
Then, the hands and feet should exert force at the same time, and the bare hands should exert force, even if the strength is very large, it is very limited, and it must be done in the feet and in the hands.
Finally, there is a saying in Tai Chi, Tai Chi is like touching a fish, that is, it is like a hand to reach into the water, move slowly, Tai Chi pushes the hand as if touching a fish to "listen" with your hands, and you must also have the strength to touch the fish in the water when practicing boxing, and you can practice kung fu with such a little idea. ”
"Okay, no matter how much you say, it's not as profound as your personal experience, so I'll personally teach you Tai Chi pushers, and feed you by the way, so that you can feel what Tai Chi is strong and Tai Chi is soft. ”
After saying that, Niu Kui asked Qin Tianxian to step forward with his arm and practice pushing his hand to "hit the wheel".
In the process of practicing, Niu Kui made him feel what kind of effect different forces were through the contact of his arms while practicing. For example, when practicing strength, Niu Kui first reminded him, and when he was ready, he continued to "play the wheel" and then suddenly used his lateral force. Qin Tian only felt a violent lateral rotation coming from his arm, and his body involuntarily lost its center of gravity, and the whole person was thrown out horizontally.
When practicing soft strength, it was another feeling, Niu Kui first used long strength to force Qin Tian, Qin Tian only felt that Niu Kui's strength seemed to be getting bigger and bigger, endless, in order to resist this continuous oppression, he could only mobilize more strength of his body to fight, so that his body became a stiff whole, at this time Niu Kui would often follow the direction of Qin Tianli, a sudden action of strength, so that Qin Tian was subjected to his own force at the same time, The force exerted by Niu Kui and the gravitational pull of the earth on his body combined to make his body lose its balance again in an instant and fly out in the direction of his own force.
In this way, when you are defenseless, Niu Kui will launch a surprise attack with strength, and when you are defenseless, he will force you to confront you through soft strength, try to change your center of gravity or directly force you to retreat, and even simply send you out with a rapid strength when your strength is stiff.
Qin Tian has not been able to deal with these situations well due to his beginner practice, so he was always released by Niu Kui in a few clicks, sometimes flying sideways left and right, sometimes flying backwards, and sometimes lying directly on the ground forward.
Niu Kui's use of strength is simply superb, Qin Tian feels like Sun Wukong in the hands of the Buddha, he has only one skill but can't fly out of the palm of his hand.
It's not that he hasn't tried to counterattack, but this kind of counterattack is often used by Niu Kuijia, as soon as you attack him, you will lead, and then take it again, and your whole person will follow. So he can't attack, he can't defend himself, and his depression can be imagined, but he still firmly remembered Niu Kui's teachings, winning or losing is not the key, the key is to carefully experience the feeling of listening in the sparring.
After Qin Tian was abused, it was the turn of the dead fat man, he thought that with his size and weight, he would not be as embarrassed as Qin Tian, but he didn't expect it to be even worse. Once his strange power is out of control, he often can't brake even if he wants to, so the sound of the ground shaking like a mountain inevitably sounded in the classroom.
He was played around by Niu Kui like a clumsy bull, and in less than an hour, he was so tired that he couldn't get up on the ground.
Niu Kui shook his head and said to the fat man: "You take a rest first, and after recovering your strength, you will practice with your senior brother Qin Tian, when you can find the feeling of listening, when will I teach you the next step of the exercise." ”
Qin Tian and Yan Qiu could only obediently respond, and after resting for nearly half an hour, the fat man Yan Qiu got up and started the "playing wheel" training with Qin Tian.
