Session 10: The Journey (I)

After the general strategy came out, Vahu and the others began to provide various details of the territory.

So as you know, there are three large enemy tribes, and the strength is relatively balanced, each tribe has about six or seven hundred warriors, counting the battle losses of the last war, plus the growth after the annexation of the Wahu tribe, the number of armed personnel may increase slightly. There are also some small and medium-sized tribes, the good ones can make up the arms of hundreds of people, and the poor ones are only a dozen samurai, which are completely of the wall-grass type, and they are very good at waving flags and shouting to see the direction of the wind.

Townsend's opinion is very straightforward, that is, to concentrate superior forces and annihilate the enemy's main force first.

If the first battle does not achieve the purpose of deterrence, it is not known how long this battle of life and death will be delayed.

Four days later, Townsend met with the local chiefs for the last time, explaining to them various precautions, especially how to save their lives in the event of an enemy attack. Only then did he command the entire Thorn Rose to board the ship and set off.

In terms of scale, the whole fleet is very spectacular, with seven large ships alone and a dozen or so small and nimble clippers. In reality, however, the quality of the other large ships was questionable, with the exception of the three-masted ships, and everyone prayed that they would not be caught in the storms - the old, the sick, and the sick were all on the best three-masted ships, and the troops and caravans had to travel on rudimentary construction transports, including Townsend and Marcia.

Before setting sail, the local chiefs set fire to Thorn Rose's headquarters and training facilities, as Townsend's instructions, and did not miss even the shipbuilding workshops in the bay. A huge flame rose into the sky, and the black plume of smoke once again filled the people's field of vision, and the people of the Thorn Rose watched in silence for a moment, and then boarded the ship and set sail at the command of the commander.

"We--there is no way back!" Chief Townsend's words have been echoing in people's ears: "Our way of life lies ahead!"

"We can only live if we win!" they whispered Townsend's words, "Only victory, only victory!"

On the first day of sailing, at dinnertime, the fleet had reached the site where Oahu had been attacked for the last time. There is a fierce tribe of savages here. Their settlement was by the sea, and they liked to do unprofitable business on the sea, and they belonged to the kind that could not be let go - at the sound of the order, five teams of one hundred and fifty men descended into the clipper with rope ladders, and lined up in a line according to the flag on the clipper in the middle.

In the middle of the clipper, under the flaming red thorn rose flag, Townsend in black armor stood tall in the wind. To his left stood Marcia in silver armor, and on his right was Vahu in gold armor, and the monkey and the captain were cooperating in command on the clipper boat on the left and right.

The Clippers slowly approached the beach, and the three-masted boats behind them also caught up, and after half a circle, they showed their sides, and a longbow team was neatly lined up on the deck, and they were ready.

"Hurry up!" Townsend waved his hand forward: "Grab the beach!"

"Hurry up!" the paddlers shouted in unison, "Grab the beach!"

The Savage tribe obviously didn't expect this strange fleet to attack them, but when they knew the purpose of the Thorn Rose, it was too late to run-because their money-making tools were parked by the sea, and these small ships were the clear targets that Townsend wanted to destroy.

Before the clipper washed up on the beach, two rangefinder arrows had been fired from the three-masted ship, followed by a third flaming red feathered arrow, which led the thirty feathered arrows behind it, drawing a rounded line, and landed in front of the group of wild men who had just rushed out of the gate - the three enemies who rushed to the front were suddenly shot into a sieve!

The first actual combat shooting saw blood, and it officially kicked off the prelude to this battle - the huge waves in front of the front splashed, and the two turbid waves rushed to the beach in front of the clipper, and directly crashed into the middle of the frightened and stunned savages, and the giant claws waved, stirring up a large cloud of blood mist!

The wooden spikes installed under the clipper first touched the bottom, causing the hull to vibrate, and the paddlers immediately retracted their oars, and then the hull froze, and the bow of the boat flicked upward, and everyone's bodies leaned forward under the effect of their habitual surname.

"Kill!" Townsend jumped off the bow of the boat and slashed forward with his sword!

"Kill!" Marcia and Vahu jumped off the bow of the ship almost at the same time, and a few strides past Townsend, their abilities already formed.

"Kill!" each team followed suit, following the footsteps of the three powerful combat forces and rushing forward, never forgetting the formation of the queue.

The three roars flew out at the same time, stirring up three high sand waves on the beach, and directly plunged into the wild people who had just recovered from the blows of the turbid waves, and instantly exploded into three balls of blood! The sound was deafening, and the severed limbs flew up, and the remaining dozens of wild people were dumbfounded.

Thirty rockets flew overhead and landed on the grass hut at the edge of the Savage Tribe.

"Clean up the sands!light everything that can be burned!" Townsend ordered, pausing and turning to Marcia and Vahu, "no more pursuits." ”

There was no need to chase and kill again, and as soon as the first blow was over, more than half of the savages who rushed onto the beach were dead and wounded, and the rest of the savages were so frightened that they either knelt on the ground and shivered, or ran back like crazy - and the fire behind them had already burned, and in this miserable way, they didn't want to make a cameo appearance as pirates for a year.

It was simpler than Townsend expected, but the situation also satisfied Townsend because this was the first time to practice the beach, and the most important thing was to help his subordinates build a winning mind. In this way, the rest of the matter will be much easier.

When the three of them returned to the transport, the savage tribe was about to be burned through the fire, and the ships of all sizes on the seashore, both old and new, were also set on fire. A few savage speakers were standing on the beach, pointing to the thorn and rose flags in their hands, and admonishing the savages who had not died - keeping them and turning away when they saw it.

"How do you feel?" Townsend took off his helmet and asked the two beside him, "Vahu, do you have the pleasure of revenge?"

"Seriously, I was nervous just now, and I didn't think of anything else. Vahu was a little embarrassed: "I look at the marks on the beach, the roar I use is very weak......"

"Being able to roar on the run is actually a big improvement. When you came, you had to rely on powder, and now, at least you are much more proficient in using it, and you have a good grasp of the orientation. Marcia commented: "If you simply compare the power, a turbid wave can bulldoze this wild tribe, and use so many people?"

"I see. Vahu hurriedly saluted her: "Thank you, Sister Marcia, for your advice." ”

"Don't be idle," said Marcia, after returning the salute, to Townsend, "Vahu is your man, why don't you give me some advice?"

"I wouldn't actually say that. Townsend innocently spread his hands and made a helpless expression: "I really won't." ”
