Chapter 43: Harvest all the way
"Hermione, use fire!" Rolph reminded Hermione of the fact that his own hands were also bound by vines, and he couldn't pull out his wand to cast spells.
"Oh, yes!" Hermione also seemed to remember the knowledge about the devil's web, and quickly pulled out her wand and waved it, still muttering words in her mouth.
Then, just as she had done with Snape before, she shot a blue bellflower-like flame out of her wand's head.
In just a few seconds, a few young wizards felt the vines flinching away from light and warmth, loosening their grip on them.
The plants twisted, twitched, and unhooked the tendrils that were wrapped around them, and the Rolf finally broke free, and the unicorns swayed through the gaping hole in the middle of the devil's web.
"Fortunately, Professor Sprout said in class that the devil's net is afraid of fire, otherwise we might have to fold in the first step. Hermione said with a sigh of relief.
Harry beckoned to the crowd and said, "This way!" he said, pointing to a stone corridor where the only one could go.
They heard, in addition to their own footsteps, the sound of droplets of water dripping slowly down the walls, and there seemed to be a gentle rustling and clanging sound ahead.
"What's up ahead, could it be a ghost?" Ron guessed endlessly.
"I don't know, but it was like the sound of wings flapping, there was a light ahead, and I could see something moving. Hermione replied cautiously.
They came to the end of the hallway, and in front of them was a brightly lit room with a high vaulted ceiling.
Countless small birds that were as brilliant as jewels flapped their wings and flew around the room. There is a heavy wooden door opposite the room.
"Do you say they're going to attack us if we go through the room?" Ron asked nervously.
"It's possible," said Harry, "that they don't seem to be vicious, but if they all rush at once, I'm afraid...... Whatever, there's no other way anyway, I'll just run over and try it!"
Before Rolf could speak, he took a deep breath, covered his face with his arm, and rushed to the other end of the room.
Harry had expected a sharp mouth and claws to tear him apart at any moment, but he was unharmed. Unscathed, he came to the door and pulled the handle, which was locked.
"Friends, look closely, these birds are not ornaments. Rolf tried to direct the trio's gaze to the correct answer.
When the three of them heard this, they all looked up and watched the little birds flying overhead, shining brightly. Hmmm?" They're not birds at all!" Harry said suddenly,
"They're keys! Winged keys! Look closely. ”
Rolf put all these keys into the trading warehouse, only to see that the originally dense keys finally became the icon of the key x99 in the warehouse.
Rolf took out the x1 key and handed it to Harry in amazement.
Harry didn't bother so much, and quickly ran towards the door again, the key still struggling in his hand.
He shoved it into the keyhole, twisted it hard, and yes, it was.
With a click, as soon as the lock flicked open, the key flew away again, and it was caught twice in a row, looking haggard.
The second room was so dark that they couldn't see anything, but just as they stepped inside, the room suddenly lit up with a shocking sight.
They stood on the edge of a huge chessboard, with black pieces in front of them, all taller than them, seemingly carved out of black stone or something.
At the other end of the room, facing them, were white chess pieces.
"What now?" Harry whispered.
"It's not obvious?" Ron said, "We had to play chess to get to the other end of the room." ”
"I think I have a solution!" interrupted Rolf again.
I saw Rolf walk far away to the doorway he had just passed, and then overlap the entire chessboard and chess pieces with the box where the warehouse would collect the items.
And then...... The chessboard that originally occupied the entire room...... It's gone. I saw that in Rolf's space, there was an additional set of things called "Black and White Chess Piece Army".
Rolf shook the space bag on his waist to cover up, and then ignored everyone's surprised gaze, they couldn't figure out why Rolf's space bag could hold so well?
Rolf led his friends all the way through the level quickly, and after passing the trolls, he came to the level set up by Snape.
However, there was nothing terrible here, just a table with seven bottles of different shapes lined up. "Is this Snape's magic?" said Harry, "what should we do?"
After all four of them crossed the threshold, a flame rose behind them, sealing the doorway. The flame was unusual: it was purple.
At the same time, black flames burst out from the doorway to the front, and they were trapped in the middle.
"Look!" Hermione grabbed a roll of parchment that had been placed next to the bottle. Harry stood behind her and read with her: danger is in sight, safety is in the rear.
Two of us can help you. Drink them down, one will lead you forward, and the other will send you back to where you came.
Two of them are filled with nettle wine. Three are killers and are waiting in line. Choose, unless you want to be here forever......
(Okay, there's a long passage in the back that I didn't understand myself, but Hermione solved the problem anyway.) )
"Wonderful," said Hermione, "it's not magic, it's logical reasoning, it's a riddle." Many of the greatest wizards have no ability to reason logically, and they are trapped here forever. ”
Hermione methodically calculated, "All we need to know is written on this piece of paper." Seven bottles: three for poison and two for wine;
One will allow us to pass safely through the black flames, and the other will send us back through the purple flames. ”
"But how do we know which one to drink?" Hermione read the piece of paper a few more times. She walked up and down the row of bottles, muttering to herself as she pointed to this or that bottle.
Finally, she clapped her hands happily. "Got it," she said, "this smallest bottle will help us get through the black flames and get the Philosopher's Stone." ”
Rolf saw that there was only enough potion in the bottle for two people, and just when he didn't know what to do, Harry spoke:
"Hermione, you and Ron go back first, Rolf and I will work with Rolf to contain Snape, and you go and write to Professor Dumbledore and ask him to come to our aid. ”
Hermione wanted to say something, but thinking that the potion in the bottle was really not enough for four people, she had to nod, pick up the potion and pour it with Ron.
The two of them hugged Rolf and Harry before turning and walking straight through the purple flames.
Harry took a deep breath and grabbed the smallest bottle, as he turned to face the black flames.
"How do the unicorns get through?" asked Harry.
"She's handed it over to me, you go first. Rolf said confidently.
Harry nodded, tilted his head, and took a sip of the liquid from the vial.
It seeped through his body like ice at once, and he handed the bottle to Rolf and walked forward.
Rolf watched as the black flames licked his body, but he didn't feel anything, he should have made it to the other side, into the last room.
Rolf took the unicorn into the farm, then passed through the flames as well and released the unicorn again.
There was already a man in there, apparently not Snape, not even Voldemort.
"You!" Harry gasped in astonishment, but Quirrell laughed, his face twitching at all.
But when he turned his head and saw a winged unicorn, he showed a hint of fear.
Because he felt a greater horror from the unicorn than Voldemort, it seemed that as soon as he approached the unicorn, something bad would happen.
