Chapter Seventy-One: Bivis's Wife
M Country, Danielle Building.
Beavis was sitting upright on the couch, savoring his collection of teas.
"Ding-dingβ" This was the hint that Daniel's assistant Milne was downstairs and was about to go upstairs.
Because just ten seconds ago, Bivis pressed the button from his watch to call Milne.
The doorbell can only be controlled by a tablet in Milne's hand.
Bivis casually raised his wrist to read the prompt message.
Although most of the messages from the watch were sent by his assistant Milne, he still habitually read the messages.
Rigorous, he didn't want to let go of any news.
Ten seconds later, the transparent elevator behind him opened its doors, and Milne paced out of it.
A smile of excitement on his face.
Milne walked to the side of the couch and stopped, quietly watching Bevis sip tea.
Bivis didn't reply: "It's been a week since the zombie virus broke out, why haven't I seen the speed of the virus infection go up?" β
Milne had been prepared, and replied expressionlessly without even looking at the tablet:
"Boss, it is estimated that most of the people's stored food is almost exhausted in seven days, and they should be in extreme pain now."
"The kindness of human nature makes them unbearable to go to the streets to grab food, but their own hunger will make them lose their minds."
"The day they lose their minds is the day when the virus breaks out again!"
After hearing this, Bivis took a few more sips of tea: "How long will you have to wait for such a thing?" β
"It's estimated that it will be about three or four days, and a conservative estimate is five days!" Milne said, glancing at his tablet.
Bivis took a few more sips of his tea and nodded as he swallowed.
At this moment, the elevator door suddenly opened again.
Bivis didn't look back to know who it was, because there was only one daughter in the world except Milne who could enter here with his consent.
Not even his wife has this privilege.
It is enough to show his love for his daughter.
"Daddy!" A little girl with blue eyes and long blond hair rushed to Bivis sitting on the sofa as soon as the elevator door opened.
The little girl looked to be about five or six years old, and her long white dress made her look like a little angel.
No wonder Bivis would love her so much, if this is a son, it is estimated that he does not have such a great privilege.
The little girl was followed by a woman with blue eyes and long blond hair, also wearing a long white dress.
It looks like a little girl's parent-child outfit.
The woman is also the face of the prosperous age, so much so that Milne looked at her for two seconds before realizing the faux pas and quickly retracted his gaze.
Seeing that his daughter was about to pounce on him, Bivis hurriedly put down the valuable purple sand teacup in his hand.
Bivis greeted his daughter with open hands, and she threw herself into his arms.
"Dad, why don't you come down to accompany me and Mom?" The daughter asked with an angelic blue eye in her father's arms.
Bivis raised his right hand and scratched his daughter's little nose with his index finger: "Silly daughter, Dad is busy!" When Dad is done, I'll go down to accompany you and Mom! With that, Bivis turned to look at his wife.
His wife smiled at him and nodded, standing at the other end of the couch like Milne.
It doesn't seem like he's very close to Bivas.
"You didn't tell your daughter, did you?" When Bivis spoke to his wife, his expression was not at all like he was talking to his own wife, but like a stranger.
"No, how dare I tell her this!" The woman replied with a blank face.
The daughter in her arms touched her father's stubble and asked curiously, "Dad, what are you talking to your mother?" β
"Hehe, don't worry about work, children!" Bivis smiled and said to her daughter.
"I advise you to stop it sooner!" The woman continued with a cold face.
"Bang!" Bivis suddenly changed his face and slapped the table suddenly, "Stop? Joke! Now that this thing has begun, you have to wait until you succeed, you know? β
"Woo woo ......" The daughter in Bivis's arms was startled by her father's sudden change of face, "Dad, don't yell at Mom!" Daddy, don't yell at Mommy! β
"Okay, good~ Dad won't roar!" Bivis immediately changed his face and smiled at his daughter, and touched his daughter's long golden hair lovingly.
"You take your daughter down first, I'll go back when I'm done." Bivis turned his head to look at his wife and said with a cold face.
At this moment, Bivis really took the unique skill of changing his face to the extreme!
If there is a face-changing contest, I am willing to award him the first prize!
Bivis's wife has obviously long been accustomed to the devilish husband in front of her.
She knows very well that the world is facing a great catastrophe right now, and the culprit of this catastrophe is her husband.
A deep sense of self-reproach has been heavily imprinted on her heart, which has caused her to live under tremendous pressure all day lately.
Fortunately, she also has a lovely daughter, and she can't let her daughter know that her biological father is a demon, a devil.
She just hopes that this disaster in the world will pass sooner and people will return to normal life sooner.
The woman bit her lip and said no more, she reached over and motioned for her daughter to follow her.
The daughter hid in her father's arms and shook her head: "No, I want to play with my father for a while." β
Then the daughter turned her head to look at Bivis: "Dad, just let me stay here for a while, you don't go downstairs, I haven't seen you for a long time, you can stay with me more!" β
"Okay, good~ I can't help you!" Bivis turned to look at his wife again, "Then you go down first, and I'll let Milne send my daughter down later." β
The woman didn't refute, bent down and said to her daughter affectionately: "Then you can play with Dad here for a while, Mom will go down first!" β
Bivis glanced at Milne, who understood and clicked twice on the tablet in his hand, and the elevator door opened.
The woman paced into the elevator and didn't look back.
Milne's tablet in his hand was visible to the building's surveillance, and he noticed that Bivis's wife had burst into tears as she stepped into the elevator.
Milne knew that his wife had been so opposed to Bivas's end-time plan from the outset that it led to a cold war between the couple and the couple.
As a result, Bivis's wife did not have a good face for Milne.
Milne also knew that this plan must be a plan to destroy humanity, but he was like a roundworm in the boss's stomach.
He knows exactly what the boss wants and wants.
Even if this plan destroys humanity and conscience, he will not hesitate to support the boss.
That's the loyalty he admires.
Seeing Beavis laughing and playing with the daughter in his arms, Milne squeezed out a smile with some sadness, and kept it on his face.
The father and daughter quarreled for a long time, and even Bivis's beloved purple sand teacup was accidentally kicked and broken by his daughter.
Milne even thought that the teacup was important to Bivis, and thought that Bivis would educate his daughter because of it.
But which of his Bevis actually doted on his daughter to such an extent.
The moment he saw the purple sand teacup fall to the ground and shatter, Bivis's face was full of distress.
But in an instant, Bivis coaxed his frightened crying daughter again.
The importance of her daughter to Bivis can be imagined.
"Then it's okay, I'll go down first?" Milne asked softly as he bent down.
He just didn't want to watch it anymore, and it was a torment for him to take it with him.
For him, who is in his thirties and has not been in love, this scene in front of him makes him very uncomfortable.
And he thinks that his stay will also affect the mood of their father and daughter.
"Oh, okay, then you go down first, and then you can send my daughter down!" Bivis was still messing around with her daughter so seriously that she didn't even look at Milne.
Bivis's home lives two floors down the disk, on the floor where Bivis stands on a daily basis.
His home occupies that floor, and the things in the house are called a place with everything.
You can enjoy all the recreational facilities, fitness facilities and so on without leaving the house.
Although Bivis doesn't usually have much work, most of the work is done by Milne.
But he still likes to be alone in the top disc and doesn't like to go home.
Because when he got home, he had to face his wife's cold eyes, and he didn't like that look.
He also asked his wife to be gentle with him, but she ignored him.
If it weren't for the fact that his daughter was here, and his daughter would protect her mother, he might have done something!
So why not create more terrible family problems, and also in order to make his daughter faster, he will stay alone in the top disc every day.
Milne paced into the elevator and back downstairs.
But before he could get out of the elevator, he saw through the transparent glass door that Bivis's wife had not come home.
Instead, he stopped at this floor and stood quietly at the elevator door.
When she saw the elevator coming down, there was a glint in her eyes.
She wasn't waiting for her daughter, she guessed that Milne might come down first, so she stopped at this level and waited.
She wanted to learn more about the end-time plan through Milne.
Although she knew Milne's loyalty to Bivis, he wouldn't tell her anything about the end times.
All she knew was what Bivis told her in bed before the plan began.
It was only at that time that she decided to make a cold war with Bivis.
The elevator doors opened, and Milne paced out of the elevator.
He looked at her with a smile and bowed lightly as a sign of politeness.
"Mrs. is waiting here, is there anything wrong?" Milne knew what she wanted to know.
"You know what I want to know!"
"I'm not sure what I know is what you want to know...... "How could Milne take the initiative to tell her about the end times.
"When will the end-time plan? How many people are you going to kill! The woman's blue eyes radiated a sharp gaze, and her voice even trembled.
