The number thirteen is really impressive, the last time I wrote the thirteenth episode, it was the thirteenth episode of "The True Story", and it has been more than a year in the blink of an eye.
The thirteen episodes of "I Mean the World" are a peculiar outlier in the "Style" series, although it is a singular number, but there is no symposium, because after thinking about it for half a month, I still feel that some of the things I want to explain at the end of this episode cannot be expressed in the form of a symposium.
First of all, after the Battle of Zhongdu, the story of "Fengzi" entered the battle of the free city, and if the core of the characters is concerned, it is the story of Zhou Gongjin. Compared with Wang Youjun and Hülegü, these characters who were conceived and appeared almost after entering the main story, Zhou Gongjin is one of the few characters who has been created from the beginning of "The Tale of Grace".
For example, Li Yu's setting is based on Kai Yuan in "Five Star Story", and Zhou Gongjin's setting is based on Wen Zhong in "Romance of the Gods", and even the appearance setting is exactly the same.
The original idea was a teenager's fantasy, what would it be like if these different characters were put in the same work? This idea now seems somewhat controversial, and I wondered if I should avoid the same characteristics as the original characters, so as not to provoke criticism.
But in the end, the conclusion is that according to the concept of the creation of "Grace", I want to faithfully reproduce the spirit and soul of the original characters, and I dare not compare with the original author, but I just hope that my idol can be reborn in this work.
In addition to Gong Jin, another adjustment is Lancelot. The protagonist of "Grace" has never been strong, because an overly powerful protagonist will make the story difficult to lead, if the sun of a galaxy is too bright, it will not only dim the stars next to it, but may even swallow them. "Grace" ...... It's always been a work where the stars shine in turn, but in fact, when I wrote the tenth episode of the main story, I made a vow to myself that I would never write a work in which the protagonist jumped off a cliff unharmed, and this idea was later realized in my other work, Alibuda.
As the protagonist of "Style", the meaning of existence is not to shine, but to bring the plot and make the plot smooth, and for this purpose, Lancelot has been wronged for a long time. Now, when the plot enters the Free City Raiders, Lancelot has very limited space to play, after all, the relationship is over, and the hegemony is not his turn, and in terms of a character used to bring the story, he is too strong.
Therefore, Lancelot's retreat practice has been improved, and Nier and Youxue will lead the story, and the space for rotation and change is relatively large, and the "luminosity" is also moderate.
Every attempt is a test, and whether it will succeed or fail is not known in advance. Of course, I can also make Lancelot become violent, solve the enemy one by one, and finish the war in two episodes, the reader is happy to watch, but although under the established fate of the novel, the characters who are not related to the protagonist are doomed to defeat, but as the parents of these characters, I hope that they can have their own glory and live their own lives before they die, instead of dying inexplicably like a minion.
Because of this concept, "Fengzi" has gone through a long long march of more than 40 books, and in the future, please also support the readers and friends of these characters to continue to walk with "Fengzi......
